在每年，中国最大的节日春节到来的时候，来自世界各地的华人都会回到家乡，一起度过这一天。对我来说，长大之后我对春节就不像小时候那样兴奋了。但是春节确实会让大家都聚在一起，不管有多忙，多远。我很少有机会见得到我的亲戚，但我们会在春节一起吃晚饭，聊天聊上一整晚。这是一个值得我们珍惜的伟大时刻。春节的意义对每个人来说都是重要的。

Spring Festival is the most important holiday for Chinese people. Excitement and happiness are palpable this time of the year， and they reach the peak on lunar new year‘s eve.

我们知道春节对于中国人来说是最重要的节日。在每年的春节都让人兴高采烈，尤其是大年三十那晚，更是达到了高潮。

Though the 15-day period， which starts with the first day of the lunar new year and ends on the 15th day （known as Lantern Festival）， is relatively long， it is the busiest time of the year for Chinese people. The arrangements they have to make for family reunions， buying necessities and preparing food keeps them busy throughout the holiday. Many of them travel back home and meet friends over dinner and drinks. The celebrations include decorating the house and setting off fireworks.

其中春节历时15天，也就从大年初一开始，到元月十五元宵节结束。这段比较长的时间是中国人最忙的时候。他们为家庭聚会作安排，采购年货，准备丰盛的食物，以至于整个春节假期都忙忙碌碌的。许多人在春季期间都要回老家过年，跟朋友碰碰头，聚个餐。庆祝春节也包括大扫除和放烟火。

But we are talking about a tradition that seems to be fading.

现在我们现在要谈的是越来越淡的年味。

Spring Festival， as it is celebrated today， has undergone many changes， thanks to the country‘s economic development and globalization.

现在的春节已经因为我国经济的发展和全球化的影响而改变了很多。

Yet no Spring Festival is complete without food. People could not get good food whenever they desired in earlier times， something that does not apply to society today. More often than not， people faced the risk of famine. The best time for people to celebrate was when food was available in plenty， and that was possible in spring， or the beginning of the lunar new year. That was the main reason why Spring Festival acquired such great importance among Chinese people.

但是没有哪个春节是完全离得开“吃”的。从前，不论人们提前多久想要买年货，总是不能如愿，而现在早已今非昔比。过去常常还要闹饥荒。人们最好的庆祝时间就是他们能得到食物丰盛的时候，也就是春天或是元月初的那段时间。那也是为什么春节对于中国人如此重要的主要原因。

春节，是我们中华民族的传统节日，它代表着团圆、幸福、平安。新年新气象，我最喜欢了，可以穿穿新衣，收收红包，放放鞭炮，太有趣了。

早晨起来，大家一起贴春联，春联可真好：上联：新年新春新起点。下联：大吉大利打发展。横批：新年大吉。灯笼也挂好了，到处洋溢着节日的气氛。中午，奶奶摆上了丰盛的饭菜，有鸡、鱼、猪、肉等好多好吃的东西，简直可以与城里餐桌上的媲美。

字里行间透着一股喜庆的气氛。

以歌谣开头，很吸引人。

按照时间顺序，写了闹元宵的情景。

“闹”得很开心哦。

夕阳西下，奶奶又忙着准备年夜饭了。爸爸弟弟和我也忙着堆火轮。我们齐心协力堆好了一个又大又稳的火轮，看着我们的杰作，心里简直乐开了花。接着，我们又帮妈妈包饺子。夜幕笼罩着大地，我们全家人围坐在一起，热热闹闹吃团圆饭。

我迫不及待地要放炮了。我又放了许多烟花。有“喜迎大地”、“百鸟迎春”……个个都绚丽多彩，让人看得眼花缭乱，应接不暇。

我爱春节。

The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people。 It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty。 Students do not go to school， and shops are closed。

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare。 Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens。 City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables。  Houses are cleaned； coupletsare posted on the doors。 Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate。

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner。 After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve。 Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to wele the new year。 On the first day of the new year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best。 When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year"。 Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other。 Children indulge themselves in games。

每当春节，我总会回到家乡过，因为那里景色优美，有农村的感觉，使人感到一种很舒服、轻松的感觉。

今年，我回到家乡，感觉格外不同，因为我爸爸在后院那里建了一座五层楼的房子，把后院的范围矿大了。全村的人都很羡慕，担忧的就很妒忌，因为他们家里没有钱盖房子，不希望我们的生活比他的好，就像在我的爸爸那里夺取一些土地，可都被我爸爸看穿了，一一地拒绝了，可是他们还是不知耻地常常来我们家吃饭。

到了春节，他们都回家吃饭了，当然我们也可以过得更加开心了。那天早上，我早早的起了床，把被子叠好，一早就跟爷爷奶奶说：“恭喜发财，利是递来。”拿完家里人的所有利是包之后，我偷偷的藏在房间里把利是一一拆开。啊，收获还不少呢!最大封的是爷爷的利是，每次都100-200元，虽然不比邻居表叔给邻居小孩的一封1000元的大，但我已经十分满足了。那天全家我们都去看望亲戚，因为我们这些小孩子当晚想趁机“打劫”的了!可苦的是爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈，他们要回利是给别人的小孩子，顺便我们也去看看家乡周围景色的改变。我们在去过程中不时也看见有人为了庆祝，都用鞭炮，在临晨四点时，我和姐姐都是因为这些鞭炮，吓得跳起来。

那天晚上，我看见了我们很多家都放烟花，显得十分隆重，我们家也不例外，爸爸买了差不多1000元的烟花放，连上边马路打麻将，打牌的人都停下来观看，在全村，最引人注目的就是我们家，因为我爸爸在村子里，都算个百万富人了，所以烟花比别人放得更多、更长时间，我看得连颈都僵硬了，有很多人都很羡慕我们。哈哈，这下咱家可有面子了。

在家乡的春节真好，又没又热闹又隆重，比起一些在城市里过春节的好多了，我爱我的家乡——德庆。

I will put most of it in the bank, and spend the rest on some books. This year is no exception(也不例外) and I also got lucky money.With it, I bought some school things for several poor students in Ningxia，hoping the things can bring some happiness to them.

For you, I think it’s a good idea to buy a gift with the lucky money for your hostfamily before you leave China. You can also buy some Chinese gifts for your parents and friends in England. Or, just keep it as good memories.

The first year of the year is a happy holiday for every child. Of course, I am no exception.

Today, my father and mother took me back to the countryside to go back to the country and come back to the countryside.
