The novel is told in the form of an extended FLASHback. After a visit to his strange landlord, a newcomer to the area desires to know the history of the family--which he receives from Nelly Deans, a servant who introduces us to the Earnshaw family who once resided in the house known as Wuthering Heights. It was once a cheerful place, but Old Earnshaw adopted a "Gipsy" child who he named Heathcliff. And Catherine, daughter of the house, found in him the perfect companion: wild, rude, and as proud and cruel as she. But although Catherine loves him, even recognizes him as her soulmate, she cannot lower herself to marry so far below her social station. She instead marries another, and in so doing sets in motion an obsession that will destroy them all.

Wuthering Heights is a bit difficult to "get into;" the opening chapters are so dark in their portrait of the end result of this obsessive love that they are somewhat off-putting. 这个暑假，我看了《西游记》这本书，这本书主要讲了唐僧师徒四人去西天拜佛求经经过了九九八十一难。

其中我最喜欢孙悟空，应为他非常勇敢，天不怕，地不怕，忠心地保护着师傅去西天拜佛求经。他的头脑很机灵，而且喜欢路见不平，拔刀相助。但是他有一个缺点，就是非常冲动，就因为如此，唐僧就常常念紧箍咒，使得他疼痛难忍。

下面我喜欢的就是沙僧，因为他忠厚老实，也不贪图荣华富贵，对唐僧更是忠心耿耿，他可以拼了命地保护唐僧。

我不喜欢猪八戒的好吃懒惰，贪图荣华富贵和美色。喜欢他但他对唐僧的忠心。我喜欢唐僧在取经的路上不受任何诱惑和阻力。不管是金钱还是美色，他都当作一堆泥土。就算前方有一大堆妖魔鬼怪，他也毫不恐惧，一心只想取得真经。他的这种精神实在让人佩服。但我不喜欢他有时却不分青红皂白地冤枉别人。

通过读《西游记》这本书，我知道了：做每件事都要目标专一而不三心二意，持之以恒而不半途而废，就一定能够达成我们的梦想。

“西游记”，多么熟悉的三个字！今年学校读书节安排我们四年级看《西游记》。

动画版、小说版、电视剧版的《西游记》我都看过。我喜欢书里面的所有过程，但我最喜欢的就是他们去“女儿国”的情节了。

小说里不是说唐僧和八戒喝了“母子河”的水“怀孕”了吗，我当然知道他俩有多痛苦啦，但我看到这儿还是忍不住大笑了起来。但看到了后来，我又改变了想法。我想大家肯定都承认的，女儿国女王特别漂亮，而且呢，又很富有。可她向唐僧提出成亲时，唐僧却拒绝了，倒是八戒一直“蠢蠢欲动”。说实话，我还真挺想不通的，唐僧干嘛要拒绝呢！“美女财富”和“重重困难”，唐僧的选择让人想不通。

我好佩服《西游记》的作者吴承恩先生啊！

在这个暑假里，我读了《青鸟》这本书，读完后我的感受非常深刻。

要说这本书的读后感，我必须说说这本书的作者，这本书的作者就是梅特林克，是当时的剧作家、诗人、散文家。这本书中的主人公就是狄狄和美狄，主要讲了仙女贝丽吕娜让狄狄的和美狄去寻找青鸟，结果最后狄狄和美狄梦醒之后发现自己养的斑鸠就是他们两找了很久的青鸟。然后就送给了贝兰格老太太。

在这本书中，青鸟代表的就是幸福。只有当狄狄无私的爱心萌动，要把他送给邻居生病的小女孩儿时，他才变成了青鸟。梅特林克通过这一点告诉我们：其实幸福并不那么难找，幸福无所不在，虽然我们总是难以发现他的踪迹，总以为幸福离我们很远但是经过千难万险就会发现，只要我们努力去寻找，总能找到属于我们的幸福。幸福就在我们身边。

这就是我写下的读后感。我喜欢这本书。

i first read this book when i was in my fifteens. and now i remember it just as well as if i had read it yesterday.

pride and prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

my first impression of this story was from screen.

its long long ago, maybe before i can read english books. i dont remember which movie edition i had seen. but i was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. i was very favor of a section of music in its balls. its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. regarding to the characters, i liked elizabeth, the heroine,though i didnt think shes beautiful. but shes smart. however, i didnt pay much attention to the plot. i thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. by now, i havent read the whole story in english or its chinese version, either. i owe it to my prejudice.

“滚滚长江东逝水，浪花淘尽英雄……”这句话正是《三国演义》的开篇词。此时此刻，我心中顿时热血澎湃，眼前展现的是那一幕幕感人的故事。而我尤其被书中关羽的故事而感动。

关羽兵败，退走麦城。途中被东吴兵所擒。吴王以高官收买关羽，却因关羽内心顽强不屈，直到临死，他也神态从容，英勇赴死。他那坚强不屈的精神让我无比感动。

读完这一章节，我体会到了关羽的坚定。他的意志坚不可催，他没有低头折节，没有逆来顺受。他的心是坚定的，是高尚的，是美好的，他就像那些革命烈士一样，毫不在乎自己的生命，把国家放在首位，这是一种多么崇高的品质啊！正是他那不投降的精神，唤醒了我的勇气。有人曾说：”人总是要死的，但有的死得比泰山还重，有的死得却比羽毛还轻。”我认为关羽就死得比泰山还重！

在中国革命史上也有许多与关羽一样坚强不屈的人。如"刘胡兰，她被敌人抓住，她宁可葬身火海，也不愿意暴露了重要的消息。对她来说，敌人的刺刀不算什么，坚定自己的意志才是第一！

有人说：”现在我们太小，不能像这些战士一样，但是却在我们的身边，也能做到坚定不移：比如说解难提，许多人想了一会儿就打推堂鼓，但是如果坚持就能解决出，这就是坚定啊！”路慢慢其修远兮，吾将上下而求索”，在人生的路上，面对困难，我们也可以像关羽一样，坚强不屈，不在困难面前低头，退缩！

关羽的精神与他的尊严，使我一辈子受用不尽！

“其实那疯子还不就是一个梳着油松辫子的大姑娘，像张家李家的大姑娘一样!她总是倚着门墙站着，看来来往往过路的人。”

这是作家林海音《城南旧事》的片段。《城南旧事》就是这样，以温情的笔调，真挚的情感，叙说了作者小时候在北京城南经历的童年往事。反映出了一个孩子眼中的老北京。

在英子的眼中，一切都是新奇的、纯洁的。人人避之不及的疯子，英子却认为只是一个清秀的大姑娘。为了疯子母子的新生活，英子偷来母亲珍贵的镯子给她们做盘缠;就连偷别人东西的贼，英子也认为是一个敦厚的老实人，是一位慈爱的哥哥;备受磨难的妞儿更是英子至真至诚的朋友，她的死去，使英子大病了一场……

《城南旧事》也是作者探寻未知世界的心声表达。骆驼为什么颈子上系着铃铛?夏天它们会到哪里去?英子喜欢打破砂锅问到底，这个世界没有一处不令她惊奇。我的世界有些什么?我又想知道什么?连我自己也不知道。《城南旧事》使我重新认识了自己的生活。

英子的童年已经一去不复返了，我的童年也留在了记忆中，但童心可以不老。我试着去关注身边的一切，用爱去发现爱。如果有小孩摔倒在地，我会毫不犹豫的地把他搀扶起来;看见天上成双成对的鸟儿，我会幻想它们是相约去某个地方自由玩耍。

《城南旧事》就是这样影响着我，让我的内心因为爱深深地感动着。

咦，这本书的名字好奇怪，《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，钢铁不就是用火炼的吗，这还用说。在好奇心的驱使下，我成为了这本书的一位俘虏。我被他激昂的文字给深深地感染了、着迷了、感动了……这本书是苏联人奥斯特·洛夫斯基写的，由赵建所翻译的。

其实，这本书里炼的不是真正的钢铁，而是像钢铁一样坚守己之信念的心也。本书主角：保尔·柯察金，一位一代共青团委员、团州委书记，在后来因生病，从而退出，最后双目失明、双腿残疾，于是便奋发写作，写成《暴风雨所诞生的》小说三章，却被邮局弄丢了，他气的恨不得自杀，但还是不放弃，提起笔来重头开始，终于炼就了钢铁之心。

可见，练就钢铁之心的乃是坚持也，没有坚持就练不成钢铁，有了坚持才可炼成之。正所谓坚持乃生命之本也，没有坚持不成方圆，可见坚持是多么宝贵、多么重要。

坚持是什么?坚持就是在病魔面前不低头;坚持是什么?坚持就是虽然身负重伤，却仍然一心一意坚守在自己的岗位之上;坚持是什么?坚持就是就算被逼绝境，也不愿意向死神投降;坚持是什么?坚持就是……坚持的人才能真正的获得并领悟人生的炼钢术，只有他们才能使自己的心灵变得高洁，他们才是真正的人。

这本书教会了我坚持，让我明白生活中没有投机取巧，有的只是坚持不懈的精神，只有坚持才能成功，成功贵于坚持，只有坚持才能被成功认可!

老人圣地亚哥是一位老渔民，老人与海就讲述了他在连续八十四天都没有捕到一条鱼的情况下，终于独自一人钓上了一条大马林鱼，但这条鱼庞大的像一座山丘，所以将老渔民圣地亚哥的小渔船整整拖了几天几夜叉筋疲力尽，被老人杀死绑在了小船的一头。老人返航的时候却遇到了鲨鱼，他应用的抵抗鲨鱼的攻击。可最后回到港湾的时候，大鱼只剩下鱼头、鱼尾和一条脊骨。

这篇小说描写了老人在中亚紫霞仍保持着优雅的风度。作者这样写突出了老人威严冷静的性格特点，就像我们小学五年级的一篇课文《桥》中的老支书一样。面对鲨鱼的攻击，老人并没有吓呆了，而是沉着的应对鲨鱼疯狂的攻击才保住了自己的性命。如果老人并没有沉着的应对鲨鱼的攻击，那老人将会一无所有（宝货老人的生命）这篇小说主要告诉我名字一个人应用有的最宝贵的精神—人可以被毁灭，却不可以被打败。圣地亚哥也因此而成为了文学史上最着名的“硬汉”之一

所以在生活上我们要学习老渔民圣地亚哥的品格与精神，才能成为对住过有用的人。
