However, Jie declined his invitation, preferring to lead a hermits life with his mother in the mountains.

Believing that he could force Jie out by burning the mountain, the lord ordered his men to set the forest on fire. To his consternation, Jie chose to remain where he was and was burnt to death. To commemorate Jie, the lord ordered all fires in every home to be put out on the anniversary of Jies death. The "cold food" festival occurs on the eve of Qing Ming and is often considered as part of the Qing Ming festival. As time passes, the Qing Ming festival replaced the "cold food" festival. My mother is not tall, not short but slim. She has a round face, two big eyes, a small nose and small mouth. She’s beautiful. She is forty-three years old, but she looks so young! She is my dear friends .

You must feel very strange to my father because he having full-white hairs, just look like a old man. My parent’s relationship is old husband and young wife. He is older than my mother 20 years. He can as my grandfather at his age.

Whale are huge animals.They live in the sea and eat small fish and other sea life.One intere sting fact is whales can jump high out of water.Some kinds of whales are in danger because humans catch them formeat,fat,and oil,and use whale parts to make candles and soap.Whales are also in danger from water pollution.We should protect whales by making rules on whale protection and by not putting rubbish into the sea.I think people should learn more about whales.

Ive been through many things since childhood, and the most memorable thing happened on Christmas day several years ago.

I heard that Santa Claus would give the lovely baby a gift on Christmas day. I went to bed early that night and hoped that when I woke up in the morning of the second day, there would be a dream assembly toy at the head of my bed. Second day open eyes, wow! I really have a pillow next to the toy box.

"Mom, mom! Santa came over last night really gave me a toy." "I was so happy that I ran out of my bedroom with my toys in my arms without socks," I shouted to my mother. My mother smiled and said: "as long as the babys good, Santa will give him a gift."

"No, no! Its Santa Claus! Not Mommy!"." I excused myself, looking at my mother for help. My mother only smiled but did not reply.
