Today, I experienced the most irritating traffic jam ever in my life. My

father was driving me to watch a movie with my friends from high school, who I

have not seen since graduation. I was hoping to have a wonderful re-union with

them. However, our car was stuck in the middle of ____ road because two drivers

were fighting and their cars blocked the way. Even with the help from local

policeman, the road was not clear until one hour later. As a result, I missed

现在回想起来，简单的动机，为我打下了坚实的英语基础。当时，最开心的事情，就是每周的英语考试，可以读到新鲜热辣的时文。

不过，与那些英语原版世界名著相比，英语说明文就显得黯然失色了。当然，那些来自于《时代》周刊的英文消息，是很值得玩味的。至今记得那篇略显晦涩的对乔伊斯《尤利西斯》的报道。

今天，又窝在家里听英国文学史，打开一本诗集，顿时沉醉其中。

如果，能够以审美的维度，重新审视英语学习，我想，大家对英语学习的兴致，大概会浓厚很多了。

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. At my school, we had a charity sale last week

The charity sale was held on our school playground last Saturday morning.

We prepared many things which were made by hand in our spare time, such as

kites, model planes and so on. They looked very beautiful. We also brought old

toys and second-hand books to sell on the sale. At 8：30, the activity started.

Many students and teachers came to take part in it. Everyone chose their

favorite items and paid for them at a much lower price. In the end, the money we

made added up to over 2,000.

We sent the money to the community to help children who couldnt attend

school and the seniors who needed better care.

I had a wonderful experience. Im proud of what we have done. If everyone
