今年暑假，我和爸爸妈妈一起来到了北京。我迫不及待的要去闻名世界的皇家园林——颐和园去看一看。

我们乘车来到了颐和园的北宫门，进入颐和园后，首先来到的是苏州街。它全长三百多米，有六十多间店铺，茶楼、酒店、染坊、钱庄、药铺及小吃店等，一应俱全。真实的再现了中国二百多年前的商业状况。

从苏州街出来，经过智慧海来到佛香阁。佛香阁依山而建是一座八面三层四重檐的阶梯型建筑。它气势磅礴，站在佛香阁上向下望颐和园的美景尽收眼底。

走下佛香阁经过排云殿就来到了长廊，它全长728米共237间，建筑堪称精美。廊间的每根房梁上都绘有精美的彩画，共有1400多幅，这么多的彩画没有一幅是相同的，不禁让人叹之。

通过长廊来到昆明湖，阵阵清凉迎面扑来。昆明湖的水碧绿清澈，十七孔桥就在湖面上，桥长150米，宽8米，是园中最大的石桥。湖面上几只小船在闲逸地飘荡，仿佛把你带入了一幅美丽的画卷中。

颐和园的美景举不胜数，真不愧是世界闻名的皇家园林。

中国传统文化有很多：服饰、锦绣、国画、书法……其中，我唯与折扇结下了不解之缘。

小小的折扇，包含着多少奥妙啊！刷地打开，又刷地合上，又是多么威严啊！一把扇子带在身上，人都携着一种高雅的气息。

上等的折扇，做工是十分讲究的。扇骨用的都是很好的木料，染了色，并刻出了对称的花纹，散发着淡淡醉香。扇面蒙着的，或纱绸，或软纸，或细布，都是质地极好的。面子上或题着佳句，或染水揉墨，或印工花朵，别样美观。家中收了两把扇子，是黄金硬纸布底面的，分别画着岳阳楼和清明上河图，水墨印制，很有味道呢。

做工精致的扇子，是注意细节的。串竹片儿的扣眼是镀银的，雕花。扇面镶边，扇坠用长长的红绦结着玉如意等。不用的时候，就叠起来收在一个丝线绣的扇套里。扇套上有根细绳，能系在里衣上。

我酷爱收藏中国折扇，如今已收集了十几把，其中有两把“招牌扇”。一把是我学习了课文《梅花魂》以后，心中愈加敬重那美丽的梅花，同时也开始突发奇想————拥有一把梅花扇！从国内到国外，从南边到北边，我一路寻找，终于在湖北恩施的一座古城里看到了它————扇上印着一枝清梅，梅枝挺拔，梅花如血，大有傲雪迎霜之态，象征中华民族的精神。我从一堆折扇中一眼就看到了它，心头一燃，认定它就是我梦寐以求的那把梅花扇，毫不犹豫地买下了它，让它陪伴我，并时时刻刻提醒我：要努力向梅花学习，做坚强刻苦的祖国花朵！

另一把是我的姨妈旅行给我带回来的，扇柄弯曲，扇面呈圆弧形，印着一藤藤红色、蓝色、紫色的花儿，花瓣饱满怒放，画面大方喜气，颇有中国风格。这两把扇子我都很喜欢。

一角小小的扇子能装装下整个中国——水墨画、唐诗宋词、刺绣。所有古典文化的一切，归于一只小小的折扇。

折扇是一门独特的古典艺术，我爱折扇，透过折扇，我了解到中国悠久的文化。我常常想，我之所以如此迷恋折扇，是不是因为在前生和扇之神有过交会呢？

京剧是我国的国粹,是我国深厚文化底蕴的杰出代表,它大致分为“生、旦、净、丑”四大角色。

我和京剧结缘还有一段故事。

在一年级一个偶然的机会，我参加了学校京剧社，每个星期参加两次排练。一开始，我觉得学京剧有一点枯燥，总是反反复复练同一句话。这时有的同学也劝我不要学京剧，有空陪他们一起玩，于是我的心里打起了退堂鼓。爸爸知道这个情况后，劝我不要放弃，坚持好好地学下去。听了爸爸的话，我没有放弃，坚持参加排练。

中国世界文化遗产有很多，如美丽的布达拉宫，雄伟的长城，可最令人好奇的还是位于西安的秦兵马俑。

秦兵马俑是在秦始皇时期的军队和战马，不过是用陶泥做的。因为人物过于逼真，所以很多人都认为兵马俑是真人烧制的。在春秋战国时期，秦始皇废止了人殉，用木佣或陶佣代替，不再用真人陪葬，而兵马俑就是典型的陶佣。这样伟大的成就除了秦始皇的功劳，更多的是工匠的智慧。

兵马俑大部分是用陶瓷制成，既坚硬又均匀，看起来就如真人一般。据调查，兵马俑起初都具有鲜艳的色彩，红色、黄色和蓝色。但因为放的时间太长了，色彩已经在泥土中脱落，发现时是没有色彩的土黄色。兵马俑都整齐的摆放在秦始皇的陪葬坑里，坑有5米深，内部空间有3。2米，坑顶高出地表2米。一个陪葬坑里，可以放下8000多个兵马俑，而且每一个兵马俑的脸型、身材、表情、年龄，包括手中的兵器都不一样。

在西安共发现了4个陪葬坑，其中3个坑都放满了兵马俑，却有一个坑内没有任何兵马俑。至今，考古学家还在调查坑里为什么会是空的。

颐和园是我国著名的世界文化遗产之一，它位于北京市西北近郊海淀区，是利用昆明湖、万寿山为基址，以杭州西湖风景为蓝本，汲取江南园林设计手法和意境建成的一座大型天然山水园，也是保存的最为完整的一座皇家行宫御苑，占地约290公顷。

走进颐和园内，那栩栩如生的铜牛便映入眼帘，在阳光的照耀下金光闪闪。

关于铜牛，还有不少有趣的传说了。其中《天上人间话铜牛》最为有趣。晚清贪图享乐的慈禧太后，她把自己比作天上国母王母娘娘。在扩建颐和园时，她曾传下御旨，要将颐和园修成“天上人间”。佛香阁象征天宫，昆明湖好比天河，八方亭和龙王庙一带便是人间了。既然有天宫天河，当然要有牛郎和织女了。为此，她见昆明湖东堤已经安置了铜牛，能够象征牛郎，所以又在石舫的旁边，建起了织女亭。铜牛的身子朝东，头扭向西北，正好冲着织女亭所在方向，以昆明湖(天河)为界，便暗合了牛郎和织女美丽动人的故事传说。

接着走，夺人眼球的便是那十七孔桥，因为石桥有十七个桥洞。它是连接昆明湖东岸与南湖岛的一座长桥，桥栏杆的石柱上雕刻着五百多只姿态不一、栩栩如生的小狮子。它是古代桥梁建筑的杰作。

但最引人注目的是那长廊，它全长728米，共273间，有548根柱子，长廊在万寿山南麓和昆明湖北岸之间，是世界上最长的长廊。走进长廊，扶着涂满红漆的柱子向上望，顶上有许许多多精美绝伦的画，画的是古典名著上的故事，有的画的是可爱小巧的动物，有的是风水画，一万四千余幅画中而且没有一副相同的画，所有的画都活灵活现，像印上去的一样。让人流连忘返，看的我痴了、醉了，我竟忘了我还得继续向前走去……

In western country like America not England, people will always give tips to waiter after they finished meal in a restaurant.
