Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. Research experience and academic activityWhen a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Nowadays, a lot of recreational activities are available for people to release their stress of work or study. Recreational activities have aroused a hot debate in society. When it comes to recreational activities, people’s ideas are not cut from the same cloth.

Abundant recreational activities make people’s life more colorful and people can release their stress with amusement. Also, participating in recreational activities helps promote our competence. However, too much recreational activities will bring problems. For instance, many young students are addicted to online games, which will generate bad effects on their studies and might lead bad consequences.

In my opinion, we should keep a balance between amusement and study or work. Of course, we should join some recreational activities after study, but we need arrange our time properly. Only in this way can recreational activities provide more benefits for us.

There is also a huge difference between Chinese and Western people. Chinese people use chopsticks and western people use fork and knife. Usually people who use fork and knife will use fork to hold the meat and cut it by knife and use fork to help to get that piece of meat into mouse. Chinese just use chopstick to pick things and pass it into your mouse.

然而这些，我们中国已经早就有人在探讨以及做出方案了。但是如果要真正深入地了解中国文化，就要投入这个环境。就像开头引用的要了解一个国家，必须了解这个国家的梦想以及怀抱梦想的人。我们作为生活在当今新时代的少年，应该主动担负起祖国的责任，主动在各个方面祖国做奉献。而不管是对祖国的文化输出还是祖国与国际上的交往，都需要我们丰富的知识储备和深远的目光。因此，要想让别人了解我们的祖国，我们首先要自己了解我们的祖国，相信我们的祖国，热爱我们的祖国，为祖国的繁荣昌盛满腔热血，奉公克己。

American eating is funny. They eat almost everything with a fork, and it appears that holding a knife in ones right hand longer than a few seconds is considered to be against good table manners.

远远地，路上便看到一座白墙，下车时发现是藏族人民去朝圣。通向山顶的路是许多未打磨的大理石砌成，千疮百孔，却异常干净。

追溯布达拉宫的出身，是否在很久以前，人民需要一种信仰，来坚定他们在高藏上艰苦的活着。去慰藉，濡养他们的精神。

佛的博爱，以他的替身——布达拉宫的宏伟身躯，和普照众生的温暖怀抱感化了我，使我仿佛有一种敬意，油然心生。

一锅浓香四溢的小鸡炖蘑菇，渗透着一股热情开放的东北气息。 我在饭桌前盯着今天佳肴的主角——小鸡炖蘑菇。越看越馋，就迫不及待地揭开了锅盖，一股浓香扑鼻而来，我情不自禁地闭上双眼，浓浓的鸡肉香加上蘑菇特有的清香，如同在大草原上驰骋般自由舒畅的感觉，也如同在农家玩耍，开心淳朴的感觉。

闻着、闻着不禁想看看这美味长什么样。我睁开双眼，擦亮瞳仁，端详着这碗小鸡炖蘑菇，汤黄澄澄的，上面漂着一层黄油，一块块黄得让人垂涎欲滴的鸡肉，深黄色的鸡肉与淡黄色的鸡汤结合成了一道人间美味！对了，还有清香四溢的蘑菇，蘑菇呈咖啡色，用小刀在顶部划了两个口子，这样美味、营养就更容易进去了。

说了这么多该尝尝了，我夹了一块蘑菇刚放进嘴里，顿时鲜得我舌头都差点掉了下来，咀嚼一下，就有很多汁流出来，那营养价值可高了，紧接着我又来了一块肉，那滋味更香、更鲜。

鸡汤把鸡肉的营养、鲜味以及蘑菇的爽滑、鲜露都综合了起来，另外还有小葱的醇香和生姜的辣味，让我胃口大增，喝了整整三大碗，我觉得这世界上只有小鸡炖蘑菇最合我的胃口了！

Spring Festival is my favourite festival. This years Spring Festival is in

February 8th. On New Years Eve, everyone will wear new clothes. My parents and

I will go to the Grandpa and grandmas home to eat Nian Yefan. This is the

tradition of our family. At the dinner table, my grandmother will prepare a lot

of dishes for us to cook hot pot. These dishes are very delicious. Everyone ate

very happy. We have forgotten the troubles of the past year, happy to greet the

new year. After dinner, I will go back home with my parents. In eight, I will be

fireworks at the threshold of our home. They are very beautiful. Doing this will

make me feel very happy. After I put the fireworks, I will watch the Spring

Festival Gala. The Gala adds a mood of celebration in the house as people laugh,

discuss and enjoy the performance. At eleven, my parents gave me 200 yuan. This

is my years new years money. 0 ocolck, the new years bell sounded, we have

ushered in the new year. I made a wish. I hoped that that we could have a happy

and healthy life ne--t year and everyone in my family could be happy.

The first day of the new year, my father and I had the red antithetical

Spring Festival couplets on our doors. Every Spring Festival, both urban and

rural areas, each household must select a red couplets affi--ed to the door in

order to increase the festive atmosphere. I also cleaned the room with my mom.

After the event, I will visit friends and relatives with my parents. This is the

custom of the Chinese people to celebrate the Spring Festival.

转糖画是民间艺术之一，糖画又称“糖影儿”、“糖饼儿”、“转糖”，相传它是在古代“糖丞相”制作技艺的基础上演化出来的。

有一天，妈妈带我去儿童公园玩。我看来看去，看到了一个老爷爷身边有一个大转盘，转盘上画了很多动物，有燕子的、蝴蝶的、小兔的、凤凰的、大龙的、小蛇的、孔雀的……过了一会儿，一个小妹妹吧自己的妈妈拉到了大转盘前，小妹妹说：“妈妈我想吃。”她的妈妈说：“好的，给你买一个。”小妹妹走到转盘前一转，转到了一条蛇，老爷爷拿起勺子，勺子上有着热乎乎的糖稀，在大瓷盘上飞快地画了一条小蛇就做好了，再用铲子压一压，拿一根竹签再一压就好了。用铲子再把糖画的底下一戳一个完整的糖画就做好了。我看见了也把妈妈拉过去买了一个。我一转转到了一只凤凰，老爷爷又舀了一勺糖稀飞快地给我做了起来，做完了我拿去属于我自己的糖画津津有味地吃了起来。

这个民间艺术转糖画真有趣呀！
