With the rapid development of our society, more and more people are fond of

Online shopping has advantages as well as disadvantages. Firstly, nowadays,

How do you feel?

I am very happy, because to the festival, we put three days off, and my birthday is coming soon, in April 21. But I also feel sad because today is the Ching Ming Festival, is awakened to the days of revolutionary martyrs. Revolutionary martyr for our better life today, laid down their lives! I feel very sad, so Im going to the revolutionary martyrs cemetery in East China Linyi, went to look at the revolutionary martyrs.

Today, I went to the grandmas home with my father and mother for the Dragon

Boat Festival. When we entered the door, grandma said, "today is Dragon Boat

Festival. Lets make dumplings." We promised. Grandma said, "bamboo leaves need

to be soaked for a while.

After a while, we began to pack the zongzi. Each of us picked up three

pieces of bamboo leaves, grabbed a handful of glutinous rice with our hands, put

them in the bamboo leaves, and put on some big red dates. And then wrap it into

a cone. Im glad to have a zongzi wrapped up. I said to grandma, "the dumplings

are so simple. Grandma said, "the real bag is not easy!" After finishing the

package, the dumplings were cooked.

Our whole family is very happy to eat sweet rice dumplings.

Things in the world are changing. People are changing and every creature is

Spring Festival is my favourite festival. This years Spring Festival is in

February 8th. On New Years Eve, everyone will wear new clothes. My parents and

I will go to the Grandpa and grandmas home to eat Nian Yefan. This is the

tradition of our family. At the dinner table, my grandmother will prepare a lot

of dishes for us to cook hot pot. These dishes are very delicious. Everyone ate

very happy. We have forgotten the troubles of the past year, happy to greet the

The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (阴历)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth

day of the fifth lunar month (农历史五月第五天). Dragon Boat Festival is my favourite

festival.During the holiday of Dragon Boat Festival,I got together with my

family to have a big meal.We ofen ate the zongzi.It tasted very nice.And we saw

the Dragon Boat Races.I felt excited because the race was bustling with noise

and excitement.At Dragon Boat Festival,we also drank realgar wine.Some people

thought drank realgar wine can protect themselves from illness.Dragon Boat

Festival was interesting and I like it very much.

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant (有意义的)holiday celebrated

(庆祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (历史最悠久). The Dragon Boat

Festival is celebrated by boat races (龙舟赛) in the shape of dragons. Competing

teams (竞争团队) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (击古)racing to reach the

finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs

(传统习俗)to attempts to (试图)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (爱国诗人)Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan

drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese

citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹叶) filled with cooked rice into the

water.

Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later

on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).

The celebrations is a time for protection (防护) from evil (邪恶) and disease

(疾病) for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as

hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions (营养品),

and displaying (展示) portraits (画像) of evils nemesis(邪恶报应), Chung Kuei. If one

i had an unforgettable labour day holiday.

my classmates threw a celebration party at our middle school principles flat. our parents were invited to the party. everybody was ecited about the holiday. i ate a lot of delicious food at that time. i also went visiting my relatives with my parents. we went to celebrate our good time at a fancy restaurant in shanghai. later that day, we sang karaoke in my uncles house. we stayed for the night.

the net day, i went shopping with my cousins. we bought some brand name t-shirts and pants. in the afternoon, my cousins gave me a fun ride on the city highway. they also taught me how to drive their fancy car, so i tried to do some turning and parking. it was not easy first. but i learnt quick. we returned home with many gifts from our trip. i tried to get some rest. at night, i chatted with my classmates on the phone, and i watched cctv before going to bed. since last friday, i started to finish up my homework assignments on my personal laptop. some of my assignments were quite boring. after i finished the homework, i emailed them to my teachers.

that was my unforgettable labour day holiday. yeh, i had a lot of fun!

Tomorrow is dragon boat festival, I and father mother go together Woerma goes buying a zhongzi.

Arrive Woerma, I run to look for a zhongzi with respect to rapid ground. Wow! Here huge crowd of people, really lively. Well? How is that place person special much? Taking away doubt I looked in the past after all. Oh! Buy a zhongzi so, the zhongzi breed here is really too much: Of beef stuffing, of red jujube stuffing, of chop stuffing, of earthnut stuffing... my what look saliva should flow. May first is a Sunday. And it is the Labors Day. My mother said to me:"Open your eyes!And look out of the window. What a fine day! Lets go to park,"So my mother, my classmate and I went to the park. We took some foods in my schoolbag. On the way to the park. I saw the blue sky with snow-white clouds. I saw pear trees and some apple trees and so on. Below the trees, there are several kinds of flowers. Its colorful, blue, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange and white. I saw some balloons and butterflies in the sky. I ate popcorn, cornflakes, banana and lollipop. They were wonderful.

In the afternoon, we went to the zoo. I visited the birds, mice, cats, dogs, budgies, hamsters, rabbits and so on.

May Day is my favorite day!

嘿嘿!又是一个周末，真是太高兴了!我今天是那“两眼放光”。太爽了，今天早上爸爸去上班，妈妈有事要出来。一大早，我就醒来，听见妈妈跟爸爸说着什么，偷偷一听，原来妈妈要去银行办事，要一大会儿才能回来。我心里顿时乐开了花，无声无息的在床上跳迪克斯来表达我满心的欢喜。

我正打着“如意算盘”，想想今天看什么电视呢?突然，我听到了脚步声快速向我屋子走来。不好，老妈来了!我快速钻进被子里装睡，还假装“呼噜，呼噜”。老妈果然来了，对我说：“桐(我的小名)，我出去办点事，你等会儿吃了饭看书啊!”我假装迷迷糊糊的答应一声，妈妈出门了，我瞬间从被窝里一跃而起，穿上衣服，打开电视，舒舒服服的坐在沙发上准备看电视。这心呀，激动的砰砰的的跳。没过一会儿，，屁股还没坐热，我就听到了熟悉的脚步声，完了，妈妈回来了!这也叫一大会儿?分明是瞬间吗!没办法，我用迅雷不及掩耳之势关掉电视，不行，没时间到卧室了。我急得像热锅里的蚂蚁，我一看沙发，脑瓜一亮，有了!我就藏到沙发后面，趴下来，哈，这样绝对看不到我!老妈进了家门，原来忘带了手机，老妈这时自言自语的说：“也该起床了，我要不然把桐叫起来?”。我的心瞬间提到了嗓子眼，万一老妈发现我没在屋……这时，老妈又说：“算了，让他再睡一会儿吧。”谢天谢地，总算没让老妈发现。我长呼了一口气，没过一会儿，脚步声又来了，我再次以光速关掉电视。我也不躲了，直接气呼呼地对老妈说：“妈，我起了，回来啦?”老妈哭笑不得，说：“我忘了，银行没还没开门!”

我的天哪，哎，你们知不知道那两次我的心……那“砰砰砰”跳的心，如果我是老人说不定就要被吓出心脏病了!

After a tiring school year, I’m eager to relax myself. I’m looking forward to spending my vacation with my grandparents, who live in the beautiful countryside. I

金秋十月，秋高气爽，我们迎来了祖国妈妈七十岁的生日，我期待已久的假期也开始了。

假期里，我们还去了海边玩。哇，大海真大呀!一眼望去无边无际，海上一艘艘大轮船正在航行着，真是美极了!我们欢快地奔跑在金黄金黄的沙滩上，身后留下了一串串小脚印，好像一串串项链。海浪一打，脚印消失了，大海收下了我们的礼物。我们坐在又细又软的沙滩上，海浪一层一层地打来，打湿了我的衣裳。我发出一阵阵的尖叫声，大海像是听见了我的欢呼声，雪白的浪花打得更猛了。沙滩上有人在踩着浪花，有人在浪里嬉戏，他们不时地发出一阵阵银铃般的笑声。

society. english is an international language. wherever you go, you can hear

english spoken by many people.

From this point of view, it is true that english is important to our daily

life. learning english is like learning to swim or learning to play ball. our

primary trouble is that we have tackled the study of language from the wrong

end. we are like theman who thinks he can learn to swim only by reading books

about swimming. in actuality, we learn by doing. the grammatical rules are

valuable as we plunge into the language and need some assistance. in the same

way, advanced instructions about swimming are helpful as we learn something from

actual experience in the water. but reading books never makes a swimmer and

learning rules never makes a practical linguist. the regular procedure in

learning english involves listening first, to be followed by speaking. then

comes reading, and finally the writing of the language. the way you learn

english is much the same as the way you learned your own language.

the language easily. in other words, you have to build up language habits in

must bear in mind that nobody can learn to swim for you. nobody can learn to

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

I went to Beijing on my holidays.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
