生活中，“父亲”这两个字普通而又蕴含着满满的爱与伟大……对于我来说，父亲给予我的除了爱就是责任。这些都是别人无法替代和比拟的，所以说父爱伟大的。

从我记事起，爸爸对我比三个姐姐要好得多，甚至对于姐姐来说，爸爸对我的爱是奢侈的，是不可多得的。可能对于其他的一些同学来说，大多数是被爸爸妈妈管教的更多一点、更严一些，而我的童年时期却大多数都是父亲的影子不断陪伴着我。

记得有一次，我和姐姐们在一条河边玩耍，我应为跨过了河的护栏，不慎失足，跌了下去，还好当时正值退潮，水位不高，并且是夏季，也没被冻着，因此大难不死。可我满身污泥，头破血流。带着狼狈的容貌，我回到了家。回家的路上，我心中想：这下可要被骂了！可结果却出乎了我的意料……

这件事的结果是，我连累了我的姐姐，她们被骂而我却没被骂。爸爸当时十分火，说：“你们怎么看弟弟的！这么多人看不住一个人！真是……”当时我感受到爸爸急迫、焦急、担心的心，我也知道了爸爸原来这么害怕失去我！在骂完姐姐们以后，他急忙带我去了医院，带我做了一个全面的检查。检查完以后，她还是放不下心，问医生我头部受伤对以后有没有影响，会不会造成哪一方面的残疾等等一大堆的问题。那一天，我明白了，原来在爸爸心中，我是那么重要。

父亲，虽没给我住上别墅，却也没让我露宿街头，也没让我冻着；虽没让我穿上名医贵裤，却也没让我愁穿；虽没让我尝尽山珍海味，也没让我愁吃……父亲，你有时可以那么伟大，却有时也会如此无奈……
