这时，你可以看见许多神奇有趣的冰雕艺术品：如熊猫家园、海豚戏球、科技世界、冰屋、延安颂(宝塔)等等。最好玩的是冰雕小迷宫。这个冰雕小迷宫分别有两个出入口。我偷偷地从入口进去，妈妈就找不到我了，然后我从另一出口偷偷出现，吓妈妈一跳，更有意思的是玩“冰雪滑滑梯”，我坐在一个大轮胎(当滑板)上，妈妈从我身后轻轻一推，我就“嗖”得一下滑下去了——这样反复滑下爬上可有趣了!

最刺激的是玩“冰上滑车”。围着冰雕一圈，筑了一道长城状的冰雪滑道，坐上“小车”我们就可以畅游这美丽神奇的“冰雪乐园”一圈，仿佛真的登上了长城欣赏了那美丽的北京天安门!

多么美丽、多么可爱的祖国妈妈啊，我爱你!

我从上面往山下往山下看了去，看到爸爸气定神怡的模样，心里生起了羡慕来。接下来，爸爸又超过了我，而我怎么用力的追赶都比不过爸爸的速度。当爸爸先我一大截到了山顶的时候，我喘着气表示对爸爸赢得了这一场比赛表示认同。

国庆节的这一次爬山，让我明白了很多，当我与爸爸站在山顶上俯瞰着山川大地的时候，我的内心里无比的快乐。

今天，我们读了很多关于保护环境的小短文。我想起曾经在我身边发生的事情。

跳长绳由两位同学拉扯着绳子有节奏地甩动，其他同学们排着队按次序跳进摇动的绳索再轻松跳出。一排同学站在一位摇绳同学的`后面，跳一个走一个，到另一位同学后面排队。游戏开始了!我们大家一个个好似流水般安全地“流”过去，非常有节奏而又流畅，每个人的脸上都挂着笑容。但有时也会“卡壳”，来一次“交通阻塞”。我发现一个最奇特又好笑的事情，那就是每当同学们一个个跳过摇动的绳索时，脸上的表情可谓是“大千世界，无奇不有”、“不看不知道，一看吓一跳”：有纠结派的、有扭曲派的、有咧嘴派的、还有闭眼派的·····每当看到不同的面部表情，我都会忍不住地笑弯了腰。轮到我了，我心一横，学一学“闭眼派”，冲入甩绳范围内，“呼”!绳子从耳边下来了，我尽全力一蹦、落地然后一溜烟地去排队去了，动作干净利落!哇!好刺激!真是百玩不厌呐!

Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. We enjoyed ourselves, and all of us mentioned your stay with us. We hope that you will come to China soon, if possible.

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

10月4日下午，爸爸突然对我说：“婧林，咱们明天去郑州的世纪欢乐园玩吧!”我连忙说：“好啊好啊”我高兴的晚上都睡不好觉了。

第二天早上我早早的起了床，在我的催促下，爸爸妈妈终于起床了。我们在路上时，我就在想：世纪欢乐园，世纪呀，那一定非常的大吧，里面又有些什么好玩的呢?呀，这一串串的问题让我想个不停。啊!这么快就到了，到了大门口，我就震惊了，大门口好大啊。

进了大门，里面的一切都让我感到害怕，因为我听到的声音都是尖叫声，而不是欢乐声。进入大门口，我们先坐了一个双层豪华的旋转木马，坐完，我们又坐了青蛙蹦极。看着有呢么多人在玩，还呢么多人在叫，我心里就大声喊着说：“我一定不会害怕的。”可是一坐在呢上面我好像又要反悔似地，我的心砰砰直跳。做上去我一直是闭着眼睛的，没敢睁开。它的呢个东西到了最顶时，让大家都没有心理准备就下来了，让人心里感觉痒痒的，它在上上下下有规律的弄几下就没有了。

接着又坐了一个疯狂大摆锤。在排队的时候，我心里想：刚才坐的呢个青蛙蹦极也不是很害怕，所以这个也应该不会害怕的吧。管它呢，坐一次，刺激刺激。有一个管理员拿着话筒说：“各位朋友们，这个疯狂大摆锤是一个360度旋转的。而且身高没有达到150厘米的，是50周岁以上的老人都不可以坐……”一坐上去呀，感觉好像没有第一次害怕似的。

我们又坐了跳跃云霄、海盗船、听觉鬼屋、新4d影院，冰川世界等等。啊!我这个国庆玩的可真快乐呀!

New Year is the biggest festival for Chinese people. After about half a

month, there is a traditional festival, it is the Lantern Festival, which is

also important. The first round moon day in the New Year is special. People

continue to celebrate the New Year and enjoy the time with their families.

The coming of Lantern Festival is various. Some people said that it is

related with Buddha. When the Buddhas meditated, they need light in front of

them, so the light can drive away monster for people. Today, in some areas,

people light up lanterns to beg for a son from god. No matter what the story is,

the traditional festival is favored by people and the government pays special

attention to remind this tradition.

There are many activities on Lantern Festival, and the most traditional

game is the riddle. People can read some riddles that are written in the

lanterns. They can get prizes if they know the answers. I love riddle so much,

because when I figure out the answers, I will be very proud of myself, at the

same time, I can learn some funny knowledge.
