By encouraging students to question their teachers and regard them as equals (even official literature now talks of fostering a “democratic” atmosphere in classrooms), China could be ushering in a new kind of relationship between the rulers and the ruled.

The bell rang and the class was over. The classroom became noisy. Some students went out of the classroom. I was just chatting with some of my classmates when Li Hong came to me. She smiled and said to me, "Whats four minus four? Do you know?" "Its zero. That is easy." answered I.

But Li Hong shook her head and said "Its wrong. Its eight." "Why? Thats impossible!" "You will understand if you cut down four corners of a desk." said Li Hong. "Is that a joke?" "Oh, yes." We all laughed. During the class break, we had a good rest. We often have a pleasant break.

Today is "51" Labor Day, I want a meaningful thing. Because usually when I saw my mother always work back pain, so I want to pass this Labor Day, the mother share some things, alleviate some of the burden. So I thought of a good idea: do a clean-up at home.

First of all, I began to scrub the windows and doors. I carefully, conscientiously the house from start to finish, top to bottom with a rag to wipe it again, the rag caked with dust. 今天是“五一”劳动节，我想做一件有意义的事。因为平常我看见妈妈劳动时总是腰酸背痛的，所以我想通过这次劳动节，为妈妈分担一些事，减轻一些负担。于是，我想到了一个好主意：在家做一次大扫除。

首先，我开始擦洗门窗。我仔仔细细、认认真真地把家里从头到尾、从上到下地用抹布擦了一遍，抹布上粘满了灰尘。这下可把我累坏了，我满头大汗，上气不接下气。但我一想：“大扫除本来就很卖力，但如果我一下都坚持不住，那不是刚才做的也白费了吗？做事要有始有终。”虽然我洗了没有比妈妈洗的干净，但是我也很满意，因为我今天帮妈妈做了一件辛勤的事情。

等我干完了全部的活，再看了看家里，和大扫除之前简直就是天壤之别啊！

这次大扫除之后，我不仅知道了：“只要付出了，就会有收获。”我还懂得了“坚持就是胜利”这句话的意思。

告别了丰富多彩的小学生活，迎来了崭新的中学生涯，刚开学，学校就组织了全体七年级新生为期五天的军训。

“稍息——立正！踏步走！”瞧！我们正在操场练习踏步呢！教官对我们说道：“你们记住，我喊‘1’就踏在左脚，‘2’就踏右脚，听清楚了吗？”“清楚！”“踏步走！”开始，我们总是踏不好，教官便让我们一遍遍的练，“121——121——121……”我们认真地听，也认真的做，一次不行两次，两次不行再来，终于把踏步踏好了，不知不觉，才发现脚好酸痛，手也麻木得抬不起来了。学会了齐步，我们就开始练习正步了。教官先示范了几遍，让我们自己也体会了一下。紧接着，教官就叫我们踢出一只脚，摆出正步的姿势单脚站立不动。虽然老天眷顾，天气不热，但是我们单脚站着不动也好累，脚也好酸，但大家依然齐心协力精神抖擞地做着教官教我们的每一个动作。

军训时，最怕的还是顶着太阳训练。在火辣辣阳光的炙烤下，教官让我们站十分钟的军姿，还命令我们：“一旦有谁动了，就重新来过。”汗珠从一颗变成了一颗颗直往下淌，大把大把的汗在背上“纠缠不休”，十分钟好像特别漫长，简直度日如年。我坚持不住了，好想停下来，但一想到不能因为我而影响了整个班级，仍然一动不动地站着……

“东风吹，战鼓擂，要拉歌，谁怕谁……”哈哈！教官还教我们唱起了拉歌，别看平时训练时，教官总是板着个脸，一本正经的样子。唱起拉歌来，他就像我们的大哥哥。“五班！来一个！来一个！五班！”听！六班、七班、八班又在集体拉我们班了。“唱就唱谁怕谁，你能把我怎么样！”我们响亮地唱起了《一二三四歌》，压倒了他们的气势。

5天军训下来，我们由踏步换齐步，齐步换正步再换齐步最后踏步。这一整套步法做得十分到位，获得了教官的赞扬。这次军训，尽管有痛、有苦、有酸也有辣，却让我们少了份娇气，多了份坚强，少了份依赖，多了份自强。让我懂得了想要完成一件事，就必须坚持不懈、持之以恒的努力，才能够达到成功的彼岸。
