With the development of technology, today we live in the world with high technology. People seem to cant live without computer and smart phone, once they dont have smart phone at hand for a while, the seem to be lost and feel something miss in their life. When I talk to my friends at table, I find them always play smart phones or check on the text all the time. Though we sit face to face, the distance between us is so far. The high technology brings isolation between people. Some people dont often visit their parents and friends, for they believe that a call can solve all the things. Communication in face to face is far more important than a call. It is time for some people to put down their smart phones for a while when they are communicating to others.

Nowadays, many families have a dog or a cat as a pet. Some people think

that pets are good and helpful companies. Some of them even go so far as saying

that animals are as good as humans, and their rights should be respected .Senior

citizens are especially fond of keeping pet because they are always feeling

lonely at home and they see the cats or dogs as their partner.

But some other people do not like pets. They say that animals are noisy,

dirty and dangerous. They think laws should be made to forbid people from

keeping pets in cities and towns.

In my opinion, pets are loyal friends that will never betray us. Staying

with pets, we shall enjoy happiness and feel relaxed. Most important of all,

keeping pets helps people to reduce loneliness and forget their unpleasant

things for the time being.

The happiest memory in my childhood was making snowman with my friends. As

I was a little boy, I always went out with my friends to make snowmen and play

with snow when it snowed heavily. We divided ourselves into several groups, two

or three people in each group. Then, we began to make our own snowman. We used

buttons to be snowmans eyes and carrots for its nose. After making our snowman,

we compared ours with others’ to decide whose snowman is the best. Sometimes, we

wrapped our scarfs around snowmen or put our caps on their head, so as to make

our snowman more beautiful. The last time I making a snowman was when I was in

university. But it snowed rarely these years. Thus, making snowman has become

the long-lost fun for me. How I hope it would be snowy this winter!

Nowadays, with the development of computer, the function of computer has developed, too. We can use computer to check the instant news, make friend and so on. The reason why so many people addict to computer is that they like to play the computer games, there are all kinds of computer games, everyone can find a game which is suitable to him. Too much involve in the computer games is wasting time, we should control our habit. First, we must set the limit time on it, wed better not to play the game over an hour. We have to tell ourselves that we must stop playing when the time is up, we have another thing to do. Second, we should go out with friends often, so we can communicate with others, it makes our mind not focus on the computer games. There are many important people have been in my life, and one of them I will never forget. I met him last summer. He was short and tanned, and was about twelve years old. He was selling the balloons on the sideway when I met him, I was curious and asked him:” why do you do business at such young age?” he said:” I’m not doing business, I have been saving money. I want to donate it to the disaster area, the children there need help.” I was surprise, and ashamed. I bought many balloons from him and asked him to keep the change. My Family

My name is Li Hua. I am from a workers family. There are six people in my

family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, my sister

and I.

Every member in my family works for his or her own trade①. My grandfather

and grandmother are peasants. They do farm work every day in my hometown. My

father is a senior engineer. He is now working in Africa, helping to build a

power station. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school.

Since we went to school, we have been educated to be polite, no matter to

treat their rude behaviors as something cool. Today, people advocate the

individuality, so the young generation wants to do something different and catch

peoples attention. For example, they dont care other peoples feeling and

criticize others as they like, or just interrupt when other people is talking,

they just show what they want to say and they believe they are special and cool.

This is very rude behavior that they dont respect others and have the wrong

idea about individuality. We can do something special on the base of respect

others and follow the rules, or we are just the rude people.

Many traditional arts are losing nowadays, because some of them have been

replaced by the new machines and the scientific products. I feel so sorry about

the losing arts, in my opinion, they are so classic and their charm will never

fade away. Take my grandma for example. She is good at paper-cut which was

inherited from her mother. But when comes to my mother’s generation, paper-cut

seems to be kicked out, there are less people need it, so my mother doesn’t

learn this skill. The paper-cut art is losing in my family. When I found my

grandma had this skill, I was so surprised and curious about it. I asked my

grandma to teach me this skill. During the process, I found this art was so
