炎热的暑假随着一分一秒过去了，转眼间，就迎接了新的一学期，我但那暑假愉快的心情，像刻在了我的心里似的，挥之不去。假期里，我们来到了河北邯郸武安市的京娘湖。要到京娘山上去，必须要通过一座红色的铁桥，我瑟瑟发抖的，缓慢着步伐往前走，桥一边微微摇晃，一边发出奇怪的嘎吱声音，这令我不禁往桥下深处的一条河看了看，然后又立马回过来头，虚惊胆颤的过了桥。

过了又窄又小的老虎洞后，我们不知不觉就踏上了上山的路程，这是一条蜿蜒小路，路的一侧是坚硬的山壁。不过这路很是陡峭，一会高的有种被往后拉的感觉，一会低的不由自主往的往前走，根本停不下来。所以导致了在我到京娘祀的时候，整个脚都疼的不行，甚至小腿也发酸疼。正在坐着一块岩石休息的我，无意间的往外一看，不禁怔住了，此时已经是傍晚了，太阳躲在的山后，只露出来半张脸，晚霞把山下的河水照的通红，阳光下波光粼粼，薄雾笼罩着上半空。我笑了笑，顿时间什么疼痛和疲劳都没了，继续踏上了路程。在做空中缆车的时候，我好奇的一直往后看，只见正下方的树林越来越渺小，自己的位置越来越靠近山顶。

到了我期待已久的玻璃窄道了，我欣喜的套上了鞋套，在十分光洁的玻璃路上走动着，正下方是一片茂密的树林，由于玻璃简直光洁的好像什么也没有似的，我感觉我在悬空着，说实话还真有一种飘飘欲仙的感觉呢，很快就到了终点。

天色晚了，我们在回来的路上边说边笑，不知不觉又过了大桥，又回到了大门，这次的旅程让我体验到了前所未有的气质，京娘山，我永远不会忘记你的。

7月27日星期四晴

今天又是炎热的一天，我下午还是和以往一样去上英语课，可当爷爷带我到云锦博物馆的时候，爷爷突然想起今天是星期四，可能不上课，于是便想着给我些零钱，如果不上课，就让我自己坐公交车回来。

我一听爷爷这么说，有点蒙了，问说：“什么，今天不是星期三吗，怎么会是星期四呢?”可爷爷斩钉截铁地说：“今天就是星期四，要不我打开手机日历给你看。”说着爷爷打开手机，翻出日历，我伸头一看，果然是星期四，我开心地说：“太好了，今天是星期四，不用上课啦。”爷爷说：“你确定今天不上课吗?”我自信满满地说：“是的，今天是星期四，肯定不用上课。”爷爷听了我的话，立即就掉转车头，带着我回家了。

可我刚到家，刚进空调房，身上的汗还没有消失，妈妈的电话就打了过来，原来是老师见我今天上课没来，发了短消息问妈妈，妈妈当然要打电话回来问了呀，“今天要上课吗?我怎么不知道呢?”难道是我昨天没有听见老师的通知?唉，不管怎么说，还是赶紧出门去上课吧!到了老师家发现，他们正在默写昨天的上课内容，还好，来的不算太晚，赶得及上新课。

下课后，老师批评了我，昨天放学时明明已经通知的事，我怎么能忘记，下次再也不能这样了。

足球大赛

今天下午放学的时候，也是4时05分，老师带着我们到操场上去看比赛。我们三(4)班大战三(3)班。

老师说：“跟家长约定在这儿看比赛的人留下来，没有约定的人回家。”

3、2、1，比赛开始啦!我和同学们异口同声的喊：“加油，加油!”一会儿，同学们停住声音，我看看同学们都一言不发，所以我也跟着他们没有发出一丝声音。

李雨恒是咱们班的守门员，其他人来把球踢到三(3)班的球门里。我越看就越无聊，“哎呀!”我一听就急忙把眼睛看着那位同学。哦，原来是三(3)班的足球打中了陶瑞杰的脸。我心想：快令红牌呀，三(3)班犯规了呀!和裁判就是不令红牌。接着一位三(3)班的足球队员就踢了一个高飞球正朝着咱们班的球篮网扑去，让我惊讶的是，李雨恒居然接住球了!啊，真是让人不可思议!

第一轮比赛结束了，我们班指只的了零分，三(3)班的得了两分!哎呀，我该回家了。我盼着第二场能不能胜利，如果胜利了……

刚放暑假，我就和爸爸一起去北京了。

我们去逛北京的小吃一条街，其中有好几样小吃都让我终生难忘。那些小吃是：烤蝎子、烤海蛇、烤海胆、烤海星、烤蜘蛛、烤蜈蚣、烤蝉蛹、烤小鸟等，听听这些名字，就把我吓的心惊胆战，虽然我不喜欢蜘蛛，但是我还是去问烧烤的师傅：“你不觉得这样残害生命很残忍吗”师傅笑着说：“我不觉得残忍啊!”这些烧烤把我吓的呀，赶紧逃走了。

没有什么可吃的，北京的臭豆腐我们还没有尝过，买之前我想着会很好吃，我就买了一串十元钱的臭豆腐，那臭豆腐吃着非常硬，而且也很臭，不好吃。我可太失望了，花了十元钱，才买了一串只有五块而且这么难吃的臭豆腐，我们学校门口的都比他好吃一百倍。我赶紧把臭豆腐给我爸爸，我爸爸也觉得不好吃。但是我们已经买了，还是必须吃了，因为已经尝过了，不能退了。所以，我爸爸就忍着臭味把它吃了。我的爸爸真厉害呀。我们把小吃一条街逛完了，我想尝尝烤蜘蛛，你知道为什么吗?因为我平时最害怕蜘蛛了，我今天要看看烤蜘蛛是什么味!可是我爸说：“别尝了吧，你的臭豆腐都没有吃完，烤蜘蛛你就更吃不完了。我们去别的小吃一条街再逛逛吧。”

虽然北京的小吃一条街很出名，可是我觉得他们杀害生命很残忍，就连臭豆腐都是名副其实是“臭”。看来，什么事不能只听别人说，要自己体验才好啊!

唉，真可惜呀!妈妈没有来，看不到这么多吓人的烧烤，要是妈妈在，肯定就不让我们逛这了!

I went to Beijing on vacation with my parents last month and we stayed there for a week.

To my surprise, Beijing is such a modern city that my parents and I all admire the development of it these years. We visited many wonderful places there, such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. What impressed me most was that people there were all very friendly and some of them could even speak Enlish. But still I think that there are some problems of this city, which I dislike. Those are too many people there and the heavy traffic. If there were fewer people and less traffic, it would be better.

和爸爸去钓鱼

上午，我和爸爸去钓鱼

在一个小河边上，我和爸爸开始做钓鱼的准备。我向四周一看，旁边荒田一样，河里有许多垃圾。

爸爸先把鱼钩系在线上，再把鱼线系在鱼竿上，穿好鱼饵，开始钓鱼了，我学着爸爸的样子轻轻把鱼线甩到河里，站在旁边眼睛紧紧的盯着浮子，

等着鱼儿来上钩。等啊，等啊!等了好长时间，我竟然一条鱼也没钓上来，我开始发起小脾气来，这时爸爸对我说:“钓鱼要有耐心，要能沉得住气!”于是我重拿起鱼竿，耐心认真的等待着….

时间一分一秒的过去了，我不知道等了有多长时间，我正要伸伸腰，突然我感觉鱼杆一沉，我赶紧向上提鱼竿，但是好重，我喊着：“爸爸，快来帮我，我钓到鱼了。”爸爸连忙跑过来，用网兜帮我把鱼捞到了上来，哈哈，一条小小的刀子鱼。看着自己钓的鱼，我高兴极了!

时间过的真快，天有点黑了，于是我回家了。

basketball. Sometimes I go swimming with my friends. Sometimes play with small

cards. If I was alone, I would ride a bicycle for a ride around, or watch TV, or

of missing. There are many, many programs to play, but my favorite is still

playing basketball.

During this summer vacation, my mother signed me up for a basketball class,

so that I could keep fit and keep my body in good shape. At the same time, I

When I first started learning, I could not learn the basic skills given by

一年一度的暑假已经过去多日，但暑假里的一件趣事，一直让我记忆犹新。

记得有一天，天气十分闷热，妈妈带我去菜市场买了一只又圆又大的西瓜。到了家，妈妈刚把西瓜放在桌子上，因为我迫不急待地想吃，便问妈妈：“咱们什么时候吃西瓜呀?

“你这只小馋猫，你爸爸这么辛苦，等他回来，咱们一起吃西瓜吧。”妈妈说完走进厨房。

我两眼死死盯住西瓜，馋得直流口水，就跟妈妈说：“把西瓜切成吵得不可收拾，最后妈妈还是不同意，我无话可说。

于是我就撅起小嘴，绞尽脑汁想出了一个坏主意，把西瓜吃到嘴。于是，我把菜板放在桌子上，把西瓜放在菜板最左边，只要风一吹，西瓜就会自动掉下来。哈哈，到那时，妈妈还得求我吃呢!我躲进小房间，只等着西瓜掉下来。盼呀，盼呀!突然听到“叭”的一声，我立刻冲出房间，妈妈也闻声赶来了。我们发现西瓜掉在地上。摔成了两半。又红又艳的瓜皮里面嵌着一颗颗黑色的“小宝石”，西瓜汁顺着瓜皮流了出来。哇!不愧是个好西瓜。Yes!计划成功了!我暗自窃喜。

妈妈捡起来，一边埋怨，一边叫我多吃几块。我高兴极了，边吃边露出得意的笑容。妈妈上当了!我偷偷地瞟了妈妈的一眼，真想笑出声来。

妈妈一看，说：“笑什么?”我说：“西瓜真甜，真好吃。”

吃完西瓜，我坐在沙发上，越想越有趣。

在暑假生活中我兴的事情是去国色天香游乐场玩，因为有邓阿姨、梅阿姨、哥哥、静静姐姐和我的妈妈一起陪伴着我。

妈妈买了门票，我们依次检票进入游乐场。

首先我们来到了水上游泳池，哥哥第一个走上了滑梯，从上面冲了下来，顿时水花四溅，一些水花飞到了我的脸上，我们开心极了。姐姐是第二个走上滑梯的，从上面冲了下来时，姐姐突然哭了，因为她眼睛进水了，我急忙去安慰她。我是最后一个上去的，从上面冲下来的一瞬间很刺激，感觉自己非常地勇敢。

我们又来到了水帘洞，可惜好多项目都是大人玩的。但是最有趣的是大桶倒水，水倒下来时把我们淋成了落汤鸡。

最后我们来到了冲浪岛，我们穿上了救生衣跳进了水里，人多得像下饺子一样。我们游到了成人区，浪太大了让我吃了几口水，于是我和妈妈又游到了儿童区，当浪涌过来时，妈妈教我要背对浪潮身体要住上跳这样就不会吃到水。我按照她教我们方法试了一次，果然不会被水呛着。

玩累了我们依依不舍的离开了，在游乐场让我度过了快乐的暑假生活。

我喜欢阅读，不管是故事书、小说、漫画、立体书、或是关于自然科学的书和介绍动物的书，都能受到我的喜爱，尤其是小说最受到我的喜爱，因为里面内容丰富，人物似乎有感情，;让我觉得在看一场电影。

我一开始本来不喜欢看书，可是，有一天，妈妈买回来一本书，我一开始根本就不碰它，可是，我因为好奇，所以我把那本书打开来看，我越看越入迷，看完之后，我才知道看书是一件这么快乐的事，自从这一天开始，我就爱上阅读了。

当我爱上阅读以后，我每天都有看书，我发现我的考试成绩比以前好很多，看书可以让我们了解生活中许多常识。

我觉得看书很有趣，因为书里面的内容有不同的剧情，有的剧情很搞笑、有的很有趣，还有的很感人，看书是一个很好的习惯。我希望每一个人都有一个好习惯。

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

暑假，给我们的生活中增添了几分乐趣，我们可以在暑假了学会很多东西。我也不例外。

早晨，太阳在东方的山后隐藏着。我站在门外准备欣赏一下太阳的升起。刚刚天还是白的，可是没过多少天已经成了橘红色的了。太阳也在伴随着公鸡的鸣声，从东方徐徐升起……不知是谁家的鸡蛋从窗户里“飞”了到窗外，弄得满满的香味。渐渐地又有一股奶香味，这些香味"勾"起了我的肚子。咦?为什么我自己不做一份早餐呢?没错!我应该自己做一份早餐。我先从电脑上的一个网站调出了一个健康早餐。我边看边学，不一会儿我就找齐了材料，分别有：鸡蛋、牛奶、面包。但鸡蛋我家是有。可是牛奶喝完了，面包也是没有。我只好用馒头当做面包，牛奶当做酸奶。好了，现在是材料齐了，那开始做吧!

由于馒头有一点硬，我只好先不管他。等他叫阳光晒再管。不一会儿，馒头果然还是败在阳光下了!我又把馒头切成一片一片的。然后就是把油抹在锅上了。接着就是把馒头放入锅中炸。不一会，黄灿灿的馒头就出来了。

我又把鸡蛋打碎了，放入里面。把馒头的上面撒点酸奶。

不一会儿早餐就好了。这让我明白了，只要持之以很就会做到任何事，不管多渺小和多强大就会克服。

七月一十日 星期五 晴天

暑假的一天，我认真得做作业后，就坐到沙发上玩儿，一看妈妈正在洗衣服，我就心里想：如果我也做一些家务活，该多好呀。

后来我终于想好了：那就是要和爸爸签订一个做家务活的协议。

晚上的时候我给爸爸说，我想订一个协议，就是想每天给我一段时间让我来做家务活，争取做到;自己的事情自己做，让我做一个快乐能干的小精灵。爸爸听了以后很高兴，因为我在这之前已经和爸爸签订了两份协议，并且坚持得还比较好。于是他就对我说：好吧。后来我每天做完自己的作业都做一些家务活，当然啦，一些特别累特别重的活，我想做，可是爸爸妈妈都舍不得让我做，我爱爸爸妈妈，也暗暗保证：长大了以后，一定要自己做到。

在这个暑假里，我一边做作业，一边做一些家务，整个暑假过得真有意思。开学的前一天，爸爸对我说：明天就是上学的一天，在学校里要好好学习，在家里一定要按照协议内容，做好家务，做一个快乐的小天使。

When I was picking up my stuff after school， I saw a dog staring at me at the school gate .I was kind of scary. I thought the dog would bite me when I was going out. But it was not. The dog started to follow me. I was very afraid. I started to run away， but the dog did it， either. Suddenly， the dog ran pass away me. I realized the man in front of me was the owner of the dog. I was relieved.

From then on， as long as a dog stares at me， I will look back to have a look whether there is another person near or not.

Freedom is an important right of people. It usually refers that you can do

want you want and live the life you want. Of course, it must be on the basis

that you can’t affect others’ freedom. Otherwise, it does not belong to your

freedom anymore. In my opinion, freedom is not you can do whatever you want, but

you don’t have to do what you don’t want to. We live in the same society, which

there are many rules constraining our behaviors. Therefore, we can’t do whatever

we want. But we are not forced to do what we don’t want to is freedom.
