表演的日子就快到了，时间一天天的过去。我们已经万事俱备，只欠东风了。老师看我们准备的差不多了，便想考验一下我们准备的怎样，是百里挑一呢还是一无是处。

我们信心十足地走上彩排的舞台。上台后看到观众的那一刹那，我顿时紧张起来，前所未有的紧张，因为我还从没看见过几百名观众看我的感觉，从出生到现在，从未经历过。

在连续几日的操劳中，母亲她终于病倒了。看着她捂着肚子在卫生间呕吐，满房间的找药，已不是第一次。唉，大概是胆结石的老毛病复发了吧。

但这一次特别凶，呕吐一整天没停过。我在一旁看着母亲被病痛折磨，却无法上去帮她一把，显得异常无能。感觉自己像是一条被潮水冲上岸的鱼，干渴的要命。看着她渐渐枯黄的的面容，我的心里湿了一片……

不管在怎么的痛苦，她还是坚持着不去医院，躺在床上瘦弱得如同一把枯草。我终于明白，母亲原来也如此脆弱，她也需要呵护。我走进厨房给母亲端来一碗白米粥，洁白的米粒在碗中上下沉浮。

“妈，你一天没吃东西了，喝点粥吧!”母亲听了这句话如触电似得坐起身，羸弱的目光中夹杂着欣喜与期待，黄昏的阳光懒懒的映在母亲苍白的脸上。

“谢谢你，我真不相信我的宝贝儿子竟会照顾妈妈了。”我跪在床头，紧紧握住母亲的手，“妈，答应我，以后别再那么辛苦了，我能照顾好自己。”母亲只是静静得喝着粥，袅袅热气从碗中升起，渐渐得迷离了我的双眼。我一把搂过母亲，认真的说：“妈，你一定要健健康康的，我以后一定好好爱你!”

突然，我的双肩不住的颤抖，“好久没有人对我说过这样的话了，你真是我的好儿子!”刹那间，我觉得自己有了从未有过的坚强，甚至可以成为母亲的依靠。“妈，你要坚强，一定不能被病魔打倒!”母亲如孩子般的点点头，微微发黄的脸不再是苦涩的微笑，蒸腾的雾气充满整个房间，弥漫着爱的清香。
