Making a trip to Beidaihe on May 18 was an experience which I will never forget.

Going to high school is my first time to leave home. I have to live in school from Monday to Friday. I like to stay away from my parents for some time, because I can make my own choice and be free to go anywhere. My friends and I like to spend the weekend in the countryside that near the city we live. It is the short travel that I can not only appreciate the beautiful scenery, but also learn to be independent. The things that nature teaches me are a lot. I can see from the color of the cloud to predict the weather and the sound of of animals have different meanings. All of these are hard to know from the books. I have my own thinking from these trips, and the way to take care of myself helps me to grow up.

For most people, they will choose to travel during holiday because they

want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work. However, it happens

quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel. Some

people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many

people there.

Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because

they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots. In my point of

view, I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel. Reasons

are listed below.

Although I have not been to the west before, I am not too strange to the cities here, especially some famous places of interest in the world, I have seen many times through the media. The son of a farmer who really is a stranger to me is the country of Europe. It was a park without walls and no margin. Aside from the woods and the asphalt road, it is a green crop field. The plains, the rolling hills, are covered with green carpets. Large tracts of crops grow the same, and the rows of furrows in the fields look as straight as the lines of a computer, and the whole field is so neat that it seems to be shaped by heavenly work.

My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus. net

Air travel has two advantages compared with train travel. It’s very fast and comfortable, and we can have a good rest in the plane. But air travel is very expensive.
