[高考满分英语作文欣赏

卓别林小的时候,有一年圣诞节学校组织合唱团，卓别林却落选了，他很沮丧。一天在班上,卓别林背诵了一段喜剧歌词，博得了大家的喝彩。老师说:“虽然你唱得不好,但表演很有幽默的天分。”

后来,父亲早逝,母亲患上严重的精神病。为了生计,卓别林四处到剧院打听，希望能演上一个角色。一天，伦敦一家剧院要上演一出戏，剧院老板答应让卓别林演一个孩子的角色。演出并不成功，《伦敦热带时报》在批评该剧的同时却说:“幸而有一个角色弥补了该剧的缺点,那就是报童桑米。以前我们不曾听说过这个孩子,但可以预见,在不久的将来定会看到他不凡的成就。”
