下午，我们来到了城墙。这里威武雄壮，似乎可以想象出当时长安城的繁华。长乐门上天高云淡，望断南飞雁。但是，在宏伟建筑的背后，离不开古代劳动人民的辛勤付出。这些砖又大又重，修建时还有陡坡。我们现在徒手爬起来都很吃力，何况他们呢？

短短的一天，我收获了很多的历史知识。在碑林，我领略了秦汉文人的古风，唐宋名家的绝代佳作;，在城墙，我体会了明代遗物的壮气势，研学为我打开了历史知识的一扇大门，让我爱上了历史。

今天下午，我们观看了防火灾的知识，为我们讲解的是候教官，他的讲解，让我深有感悟！

下午的时候，我们观看了防火灾的知识，候将官为我们讲解的非常的详细。我们看到了候教官说，一般发生火灾的时候，我们要弯腰，低头，在拿一个叠了三次的毛巾捂住口鼻，（毛巾要是湿的，而且要轻轻的拧一下）。

看了候教官的讲解，我有很深的感受：原来防火的要求是这么的多呀！以前的时候，我以为火灾非常的简单，就是发生火灾的时候拿一个湿毛巾冲出去，而并不知道湿的毛巾还要轻轻地拧一拧，也不知道要用叠了三层的毛巾来捂住口鼻，还不知道逃生的时候要弯腰，低头，离地面的距离还是三公分，所以看了这次的讲解以后深有感悟。

我还懂得了，来到了每一个超市的时候，要观察逃生出口在哪里，到时候，万一找了火了，可以很快的找到逃生地点。还有，我们的车里面一定要装有灭火器，和一个可以杂碎玻璃的小锤子，而这些东西还要时时刻刻的放在自己的身边才行！

通过这次候教官的讲解，我对火灾逃生有了充分的认识，和知识！

In the United States, the driving force behind the establishment of the

celebration of Fathers Day was Mrs Sonora Smart Dodd, born in Creston,

Washington. Her father, the Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, as a single

parent raised his six children in Spokane, Washington. She was inspired by Anna

Jarviss efforts to establish Mothers Day. Although she initially suggested

June 5, the anniversary of her fathers death, she did not provide the

organizers with enough time to make arrangements, and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on

June 19, 1910, in Spokane.

Unofficial support from such figures as William Jennings Bryan was

immediate and widespread. President Woodrow Wilson was personally feted by his

family in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge recommended it as a national holiday

in 1924. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson made Fathers Day a holiday to be

celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The holiday was not officially

recognized until 1972, during the presidency of Richard Nixon.

从此，我似乎品出了知识的甜美，如蜂蜜一样的贪婪地获取知识，好似吸取甘露。每天，虽然时间紧迫，但我坚信鲁迅先生的话：“时间就像海绵里的水，只要愿挤，总还是有的。”每天坚持挤出一个小时用来认真地读书。同时，我也品出了古诗词的美妙之处，每天不读上两首古诗，便觉得空虚、寂寞。苏东坡诗云：“腹有诗书气自华”。在语文课上，我也不仅仅干涩地回答问题，而能引用或凭借读过的诗词名著把问题看到、想到一个更深远的层次。

It is important for you to learn some knowledge about first aid in your daily life. If a person has an accident, he needs medical care before a doctor can be found. When you give first aid, you must pay attention to three things. First, when a person stops breathing, open his/her mouth and see if there is food at the bulk of his/her mouth. Second, if a person cannot breathe, do you best to start his/her breathing at once, using a mouth to mouth way. Third, if a person is hurt badly, try at once to stop the bleeding. Then take him/her to a doctor. If a person loses one third of his/her blood, he/she may die.

Many accidents may happen at home. All parents should know first aid in order to deal with common injuries which may happen to their children. When a person is bitten by an animai, wash the wound with cold running water before he/she is taken to see a doctor. When a person is burnt, wash and cool the area of the skin under the cold tap for a while. Then put a piece of dry clean cloth over the burn. If the person is badly burnt, take him/her to the doctor. If a person cuts his/her finger, clean it and put a piece of paper round the cut. Every bodyrshould know some first aid in order to save othe peoples lives.

My father has a good friend, and I called him uncle Li. He works in a

college and teaches literature. Uncle Li is a gentleman, the way he talks and

walks shows that he has received good education. I like to discuss movies with

him. He always can give me profound ideas. No matter where he is, people respect

him a lot. I admire uncle Li so much. I wish someday I could be the person like

The Hero in My Heart

Graduation is a time of moving on, further studies, or out into the society? There are a lot of choices which we are supposed to make and we are emotional at the graduation season. What’s more, we usually have a variety of activities about graduation, such as taking photos, having a class party, leaving words to each other in our memory collections, exchanging gifts between friends to memorize our friendship, giving teacher presents to express our thanks.

However, we have mixed emotions about farewell. We want to spend more time having fun and working with each other, but we have to move on. 转眼，愉快的暑假过去了，我们又开学了，回归到了这多姿多彩的美丽校园。我也迈入了高年级的学习舞台，想想以前的经历，总让我不禁一笑。我从一至四年级里脱身而出，当上了一名五年级的大哥哥。经过两个月的改造，我们的校园也有了翻天覆地的变化。

1、校门

在校门外，远远地只见校门由本来的棕色变成了红加白的颜色；墙面上的瓷砖光滑而又明亮，在每天晨光的照耀下，发出优美的白色亮光，还没走进校园，就让人感到心旷神怡，兴致勃勃；在校门顶上，只见一块黄灿灿的牌子上写着几个龙飞凤舞的大字——东方红学校，每当进入学校，看到这几个醒目有力的大字就有一种心潮澎湃的感觉。

2、操场

进入校园，映入眼帘的是操场边上的一排石头书，上面写着名言警句，时刻激励着我们向上。在操场上，已有不少同学在运动，他们一个个你追我赶，足下生风，好不热闹，给本来平静的校园带来了无限生机。在操场边上，有一面墙的图片和文字，它们被精心粘在红色木架里，里面记录了我们丰富多彩的校园生活。

3、教学楼

来到教学楼跟前，只见本来黄色的求实楼被涂成了棕色，三栋楼紧紧挨在一起，像一个大大的怀抱，每天迎接我们的到来，时刻保护着我们这些小树苗。

4、新知识

虽然知识并不是景物，但它是校园里必不可少的“美景”。上课时，它可以让我们在知识的海洋中前行；让我们打开智慧的宝箱；让我们在欢乐的世界自由翱翔……

新学期，新校园成了一处美丽的风景，她能让我们在知识，快乐中成长。

11月15日下午我们金山校区全体同学进行了应急消防疏散演练活动。

我们这次消防疏散演练分为教室和宿舍的紧急逃生演练。我们在上课的过程中，突然听到警报铃声，按照之前既定的逃生路线，有序地离开了教室。大家在下楼梯时没有拥挤、不慌张，头弯腰捂嘴向操场中央跑去。在不到五分钟的时间里，我们已经全部撤离了教室，到达预定地点。同学们有秩序的站在操场上由体委查人数，报告给学校领导。之后消防部门的领导详细地教授大家灭火器的正确使用方法，并找两名男同学和两名女同学上去使用。同学们看到了火灾的严重性，也都学会了灭火器的正确使用。

在这次逃生演习中，我们学到了很多的逃生知识，比如，发生火灾时，不能贪恋财产，如果有浓烟一定要有湿毛巾捂住抠鼻俯身快速逃出火灾现场，如果在居民楼里，一定不要乘坐电梯，要走楼梯。平时一定要多注意安全通道，学习安全知识，在灾难来临的保护自己逃脱危险。

火灾的发生，是由很多因素引起的，而要避免火灾对我们造成伤害，我们应该从不同方面采取相应的措施来达到杜绝火灾发生的目的。例如，我们在学校，可能引起火灾因素主要有：在宿舍，厕所吸烟、乱扔烟头；不遵守学校的规定违规使用电源；使用劣质电器等，这些都有可能酿造事故。而作为一名合格的学生，我们一定要杜绝这些不良行为、不安全行为。学校举行的安全教育活动、安全素养课程可以增加我们对火灾、地震等紧急情况的认识，增强安全意识。我们要把这些常识牢记在心里，做到人人懂消防，个个会消防。学校不定时抽查同学们教室、宿舍的用电等情况，也是帮助我们杜绝安全隐患，我们要严格遵守校规校纪，既是为自己，也是为他人的安全负责。

My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy

about those basketball stars ever since I was little.

Basketball requires speed, height and skills. I run, jump, switch, and try

to hit! All parts of my body are exercised in this sport. I feel that I’m like

wind flying in the playground for my goal, which makes me feel so GREat!

Basketball needs quick reaction and decision. When chance comes, it may

disappear in the next second. I should keep an eye watching as an eagle, decide

and judge quickly as a leopard, and run for it as a wolf.

Further more, basketball is a sports more than just exercising, It needs

team work. No one can play himself. A team should work together. So I learn to

cooperate with others in this game. I should understand what my teammate doing

and what he needs me to do for him. On the other side, I should learn to show my

teammate what I need. At the same time, I need to keep an eye on the whole game,

knowing how is the situation of our team and how is the other team. It involved

more cooperation and strategy.

I played basketball more for about 5 years now. I make many good friends

throught this sports. It is proud to win honor for my team and my school. Also I

enjoy all games with my friends. Basketball will be my best friends in the

future and my best memory about school life.

I Like Sunny Days

I really like sunny days. My mood is very good on sunny days because the sun is shining and I can see the beautiful sky. On days when the weather is not good, I would have to stay outside, and it can become boring. However if it is sunny I can enjoy the outdoors. It is good weather for jogging, taking a walk, or riding a bike. It is even better if there is a breeze, because then it is cool so it is more pleasant to be outside. Popsicles and ice creams are very good snacks for warm, sunny days. The coldness helps me cool down and feel good. I like to play games with my friends outside. We like jumping rope, playing volleyball and badminton. If the sun is very bright, sometimes it is hard to see if the sunlight is reflected into my eyes. It would be useful to have sunglasses to block the sunlight. It feels good to sweat because of exercise, because I know I am becoming healthier.

看完农科频道的安全教育讲座后，我对于安全知识有了更加全面的认识，同时也让我认识到自己在生活中存在的一些错误的安全认识和安全问题。

在交通安全教育讲座中，我受益匪浅。首先，我懂得了很多交通规则；其次我也明白了一些交通常识，比如说晚上出行尽量穿浅色的衣服并且横穿马路时要在有路灯的地方。最后，通过讲座我也发现了自己在交通安全方面的一些不好的做法。我以前也有边在路上走边玩玩具或者边和伙伴疯闹的一些错误行为，我在以后的出行中要改正这些错误行为，做到文明出行，安全出行。

在防火安全教育方面，我懂得了要安全用电；也学习了火灾安全逃生知识。

总之，通过观看讲座，我懂得了更多安全知识，我想这对于我们的健康成长将起到重要的作用。

Free Admission to Parks

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. On the other hand, visitors should be informed to preserve the environment while enjoying the beauty of the nature.
