Husband:

Merry Christmas!

Today is Christmas Eve, we have already made an appointment tonight you

want to accompany me to go shopping mall, to see a movie, but you cut once again

stood me up.

I was the first one to rush out of the office after work today. On the way,

I was wondering whether you would have another task today. I will not be a

lonely Christmas Eve again! Call and ask, "Do you have an assignment?" Just say

you wont stand me up. When I got home, I was surprised to find that you were

still at home, cooking dinner. I was so happy that I didnt know what my name

was. Looking at your busy figure, I am happy, began to fantasize about tonight

we go to the mall shopping, do not stop to call the mall in the activity. I had

my eye on a windbreaker for a long time, but I was reluctant to buy it because

the price was too expensive. On the way back today, I saw that there was a sale

in the shopping mall, so I decided to move it back to my wardrobe. We began to

discuss our schedule for tonight. Im also glad of my good luck today. However,

the truth is cruel, once again proved that I still have to spend Christmas Eve

alone. When we were about to have dinner, your phone rang, and by the

seriousness on your face, I knew that our date would never happen again. You

very guiltily say with me: "wife: we again tomorrow go to the mall ok? Its hard

to say youll get more discounts, more activities and more gifts tomorrow. We

have to go out for a while tonight. If its cold, go to bed early, so dont wait

for me. You eat first, and Ill wash the dishes when I come back." When I asked

you what it was, you promised to keep it a secret. The husband! Im a cop, too.

I have a sense of secrecy. I asked you what? Just to see how dangerous you are.

Why dont you understand? You! What a stupid pig. Im glad you had your head in

the right place, or I dont know how you ended up in the police force.

Husband, to tell the truth, both of us are policemen. I think my working

attitude is not as good as yours, my enthusiasm is not as high as yours, and My

work is not as serious as yours. However, since the second year after my work, I

have been an excellent civil servant every year. Last year, I was also rated as

one of the top ten policemen. But you, dont say an excellent civil servant, you

havent even rated a reward. I dont even know why? In your squadron, you did

more work than anyone else, did the most work (and of course, you were the

youngest), did everything that was dangerous, but at the end of the year you had

nothing. If I were you, Id have a lot of complaints, or Id be like everyone

else, and you wouldnt, youd still be working. Sometimes I have been wondering

whether you are really more "stupid" than others?

Honey, you must remember, you owe me another date. You stood me up again

today, I am very angry, but I hope you are safe. I hope I can see you tonight

before twelve o clock.

What an auspicious word "Silent Night" is! I wish all the policemen a safe

life on Christmas Eve.

The farmer took the rabbit home, and cooked himself a delicious meal.

That night he thought, I neednt work so hard. All I have to do is wait for a rabbit each day by the stump.

So from then on he gave up farming, and simply sat by the stump waiting for rabbits to come and run into it.

This idiom satirizes(讽刺,挖苦) those who just wait for a stroke of luck, rather than making efforts to obtain what they need.

"I will be back before twelve oclock," says Cinderella. She gets into the coach to go to the party.

The princes palace is full of people. They are all happy to be at the big party. All the girls want to marry the prince. Then Cinderella walks into the palace. "Who is she?" everyone asks. "Shes so beautiful," they say.

The prince sees Cinderella. He asks her to dance with him. All night long they dance and talk. The prince and Cinderella fall in love. At twelve oclock, Cinderella runs out of the palace.

Cinderella runs and loses one of her glass shoes. She must get home before twelve. She is late. She runs into the house. Now, she is wearing her old dress again.

The prince finds Cinderellas shoe. "I know this shoe. It belongs to that beautiful girl. Ill find her," he says. The next morning, he goes from house to house to find her. He goes to Cinderellas house. The two ugly stepsisters try on the shoe, but their feet are too big.

"Can I try it on?" asks Cinderella. "Yes," the prince says, so Cinderella tries the shoe on. It fits her foot. "I have found my princess," the prince says. Soon Cinderella and the prince get married. They live happily ever after.

Nowadays, with the rapid development of our society, almost all the graduates have to face a choice:to get a job first or to find the job you like first? As far as I am concerned, the graduates should get a job first and then choose the job they like. The reasons can be listed as follows:

First of all,for many students, even they themselves don’t know what kind of job they want to choose. For these students,to get a job first can help them find out their favorite job through trying different work. What’s more, the graduates are all under great employment pressure. There are thousands of graduates need to find their jobs every year.So if the graduates don’t get their jobs as soon as they leave the school, they will miss the best chance to get a job.Last but not least, one can accumulate experience and broaden horizons in his or her first job. It’s certain that these experiences will contribute to future job.As the famous saying goes “One should apply theory to practice.”,students should apply what they have learned in class to their jobs, thus enhancing their working skills.

Above all, nowadays under the greater employment pressure, the graduates should get a job first and then to choose the job they like.Since students can have a better understanding of what they like and gain experience in the first job.
