白白很懒，在它晚上想上厕所时，它就随随便便地在窝里这尿一下，那拉一下，所以它的窝脏兮兮的，妈妈因此增大了负担，每天都要清洗白白的窝。

白白最喜欢的游戏是跟我赛跑，它跑得很快，每次都是它赢。它跑的时候，四只小爪子巧妙的活动，速度非常快。

白白很好玩儿。自从养了它，我家的植物便遭殃了，那些可怜的植物各个都伤痕累累。有一次，白白趁妈妈不注意，一口咬掉了妈妈最喜欢、最爱的芦荟的花，要知道芦荟是很难开花的呢!妈妈非常生气，要打白白，白白好像知道自己错了，便一直给妈妈“磕头”，直到原谅它为止。

白白睡觉时把身子蜷成一团。它睡觉还打呼噜呢!但它睡的并不死，稍微有动静就会醒来，警惕的观察着四周，直到它认为没问题为止。

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. 在我身上就发生过这样一件事。记得有一次放学后，我觉得作业一点也不多，不用像往常一样那么着急地写了。于是我一会看电视，一会玩玩具。完全没有注意到时间的流逝。直到发现天快黑了，才想起写作业，写的时候还边写边发呆，糊弄几下就把作业“完成”了。结果第二天老师发作业的时候，才发现我有好几道题都漏写了，而且还有错题，当看到作业我顿时目瞪口呆。

大概过了二三天时间，老师下课时留了很多作业，我想起了上次的教训，于是不再贪玩，我利用下课时间争分夺秒的写作业，连中午我的好朋友叫我出去玩我都没有去。经过一天和时间赛跑，我把当天所有的作业都写完了，还多做了不少课外班的练习题呢。

通过这两件事的对比，我更加深刻地体会到“一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴。”这句名言的深刻含义，它将给我永远的警示，鞭策我珍惜时间，一步步实现既定目标。从此我不再浪费时间。

据我所知，时下一些中学生的课外读物大致可分为如下三类：一类是各种言情、武侠小说;一类是各种“作文选”;一类是各种青年型的杂志。虽然不能说这三类“书”不可以阅读，但对中学生来说，阅读这两类“书”肯定是害多益少的。

所谓的言情小说，大多是以描写“男女偷欢”、“第三者插足”和“婚外恋”为主线的。武侠小说除了渲染“江湖义气”、“暴力打斗”外，还都离不开男女之间的“色情”描写。这些，对涉世不深，正需要正确引导而奋发向上的中学生来讲，是起不到陶冶情操的作用的;同时，就提高写作水平而言，也是没有什么可取之处

谁都知道，“作文选”中的“作文”都出自中学生之手。中学生写的“作文”，大部分都是社会生活有限、创作方法单一的，诸如《我的老师》、《我的同学》、《校园的早晨》、《农村新貌》等，就是写的“再好”，又能从中得到多少启发呢?其结果也只能是读完去“照葫芦画瓢”，写出既没深度，又没余味的肤浅文章。

若说起五花八门的青年型杂志，中学生就更不应该阅读了。因为就其封面而言，首先就会使中学生脸红。君不见，封面上不是坦胸露乳的“大美人”，就是极富刺激性的文题。如果看正文，那就更“不堪入目”了。正文里除了诸如打工妹怎样上当受骗被老板奸污，夫妻或为第三者反目或为金钱成仇而互相勾心斗角的文章外，就是介绍夫妻同床后的“性知识”的文章，而且还多配有登载“如何丰乳”、“如何增臀”的彩色广告插页，并还多印有“乳已丰”、“臀已瘦”的近乎全裸的女人的“玉照”。试想一下，中学生阅读这样的杂志，能增长什么样的“知识”，那是不言自明了。

那么，中学生课外应该阅读什么样的“书”呢?笔者认为，中学生课外的最好精神食粮就是古今中外的文学名着。中学生为什么要阅读古今中外的文学名着?这是因为：所谓的“名着”，都是经受住了时间的考验，在文学史上占有一席之地，并永远闪烁着光辉的不朽着作。这些名着的思想性和艺术性同上述两类“书”相比，那是有天壤之别的，读后就像品尝了“美味佳肴”一样，是回味无穷的。笔者早年在中学时代读书时，在课外时间里，就曾阅读了许多古今中外的文学名着，诸如《钢铁是怎样炼成的》、《牛虻》、《绞刑架下的报告》、《战争与和平》、《静静的顿河》、《红与黑》、《复活》、《简·爱》、《巴黎圣母院》、《青春之歌》、《红岩》、《红旗谱》、《红日》、《林海雪原》、《子夜》、《野火春风斗古城》、《保卫延安》、《铁道游击队》、《苦斗》、《三家巷》、《敌后武工队》、《苦菜花》、《春》、《创业史》、《暴风骤雨》等等。现在回想起来，感到这些名着当时对自己正确人生观、世界观的形成，是起到了不可低估的作用的，同时，因为经常阅读名着，也使当时的自己的写作水平得到了不断地提高，并为自己后来的写诗着文打下了扎实的基础。笔者自己敢断言，就是自己如果不在中学时代阅读了大量的古今中外的文学名着，到现在是绝对写不出已经在包括《人民日报》、《光明日报》、《法制日报》、《中国青年报》、《中国文化报》、《中国体育报》、《中国教育报》、《中国教师报》在内的全国70多家报刊上发表的100多万字的880多篇(首)诗文的。

既然课外时间阅读文学名着好处甚多，那么，应该怎样去阅读文学名着呢?据笔者的体会，感到中学生在阅读文学名着的时候，一定要注意这样一个问题，就是不要走马观花一目十行蜻蜓点水地去阅读，而是要“慢嚼细咽”，同时还要写读书笔记和读后感。只有这样阅读文学名着，才能通过阅读文学名着，真正使自己理解问题分析问题的能力得到不断地提高，并能学习和掌握到许多高超的写作方法及技巧，使自己在写诗着文时下笔自如。

For thousands of years, animals have trodden a slow path, their spirits together with the body. But our human beings transportation is too fast. The body moves but the soul is left behind. Which is better, shopping online or traditional shopping? Different people have different attitudes towards it. Some people think that online shopping is very convenient, for it can save them a lot of time and energy. It’s especially helpful for those who are always busy with their work. Besides, through the internet, they can get more information about the commodities they want to buy and buy a lot of things that cannot be bought in local places.

网上购物还是传统购物，那种方式更好呢？每个人对这事的看法都不一样。有些人认为网购十分方便，因为这种方式可以节省许多的时间和精力。特别是对那些工作十分繁忙的人来说，网购帮了大忙。此外，通过网络他们可以知道关于他们想购买的产品的信息，还能卖到当地没有卖的商品。

Nevertheless, I’m not keen on online shopping at all, since most commodities which are bought online are of poor quality. Once we are cheated, we may find it difficult to make a complaint. Thus we should take more cautions when shopping online.

尽管如此，我还是不太热衷于网购，因为大多数我们网购而来的产品的质量劣质。一旦我们上当受骗，我们会发现我们无处投诉。因此我们网购时要非常的谨慎。

In my eyes, I prefer traditional shopping, because I can choose what I really need. Also, I can know the quality of every commodity more clearly. Even if there’s something wrong with the commodities, I can still ask the sellers to compensate for my loss.

If you ask me what is the most precious, I would say that it’s time. Time is something once lost, you could never have again.

Sincc I entered college I have felt a great burden off my mind and I just want to relax.I did too many meaningless things to kill my time, such as playing computer games, watching TV, or gossiping. When i do these things, the time has long been unwittingly flowed away. I seldom work on my lessons unless there is an examination. Then i work under pressure. I know it is not good, but what I lack is self control.I know it is a problem, and it is time i did something about it.

In my opinion, the best way to make full use of time is planning your time rationally and sticking the plan firmly. Spending more time on something significant not only will make your life fulfilling, but also will give you a sense of accomplishment. Instead, killing your time with meaningless things would bring you depression even despair. Remember that those who abandon time will be also abandoned by time.

Time waits for no one. If it flows away, it will never come to us again. We cant take charge of our time but we should know the importance of time and cherish time.

In the past few decades, our Earth has changed a lot, but to the bad

direction. Among these changes, the air pollutions resulting from a huge number

of automobiles and coal-burning is almost the severest. The severe air pollution

alarms humans of the heavy load we have exerted on Earth by our insatiable

production and usage of automobiles. However, with the deepening of

urbanization, more cars are needed, which will make the air pollution worse.

Therefore, the following actions should be taken. First, we should apply the

most cutting-edge technologies in order to adopt new forms of energy as

substitutes for fossil fuels. Second, try hard to develop possible

transportation means, which are enviromental friendly. So that the citizens can

reduce the dependence on cars. In short, our humans should take responsibilities

for the air pollution and have to find ways to solve this problem.
