“书卷多情似故人，晨昏忧乐每相亲。”

书海浩瀚，知识无穷。自古以来，书本就是人类的好朋友。古今之集大成者，都是靠读书而成的。圣人孔夫子，以书为伴，韦编三绝，流芳百世;韩愈口不绝吟，手不停披，焚膏继晷，满腹经纶;司马光警枕励志，坚持不懈，学识渊博，终成《资治通鉴》;鲁迅辣椒驱寒，生命不息，读书不止，成为一代文豪;伟人毛泽东，博览群书，文韬武略……名人们爱读书的例子告诉了我们读书的重要作用。

那么，书究竟有多大的作用呢?我们不妨从中外古今的名人对书所作的论述中细心地体会一下，也许能豁然开朗。孔子说：“不学诗，无以言。”汉代刘向说：“书犹药也，善读之可医愚。”莎士比亚说：“书籍是全人类的营养品，生活里没有书籍，就好像没有阳光;智慧里没有书籍，就好像鸟儿没有翅膀。”托尔斯泰说：“理想的书籍是智慧的钥匙。”高尔基说：“书是人类进步的阶梯。”歌德说：“读一本好书，就像和许许多多高尚的人谈话。”培根说：“读书足以怡情，足以博彩，足以长才。”这每句话，都耐人寻味，给人以很深的启迪。

赫尔岑说：“书是这一代对另一代人精神上的遗言，这是将死的老人对刚刚开始的青年人的忠告。”人类自从结束了结绳记事，就逐渐开始用竹简、纸张来记录生活、记录历史、记录思想。于是，人类思想的结晶得以像火种一样，一代一代留存，照亮黑暗，昭示光明。读书，就是在传承文化，传承先人留给我们的最大的精神财富。

读庄子，读到的是心灵的澄澈如水，读到的是“扶摇而上者九万里”的逍遥和优游;读李白，读到的是潇洒与不羁，是“仰天大笑出门去，我辈岂是篷蒿人”的豪迈与飘逸，是“天生我材必有用，千金散尽还复来”的自信与博大;读司马迁，读到的是刚直与坚韧。“通古今之变，成一家之言”，刚正不阿，留作正气满乾坤;幽怨忧愤，著成信史照尘寰;读谭嗣同，读到的是“我自横刀向天笑，去留肝胆两昆仑”的伟岸和悲壮;读《老人与海》，读到的是人的精神不可战胜的震憾;读泰戈尔的散文诗，读出的是世界的美好而博大，读出的是情怀的优美而宽广;读《约翰·克里斯朵夫》，读到的是青春、友谊、爱情、音乐的诗意和力量……

书中有着广阔的世界，书中有着永世不朽的精神，虽然沧海桑田，物换星移，但书籍的力量是永存的。热爱读书，阅读撼人心弦的高贵作品，我们可以倾听伟大心灵的教化，吸收超越生老病死的智慧精华。而一个人的精神发展史，实质上就是一个人的阅读史。

正像苏霍姆林斯基所说的那样：“每天不间断的读书，跟书籍结下友谊，潺潺小溪每日不断，注入思想的大河。”读书不仅是为了应付明天的考试，而是出自内心的需要和对知识的渴求。北宋黄山谷也曾说：“三日不读书，则义理不交于胸中，言语无味，面目可憎。”也正如高尔基所说的那样：“书籍一面启示着我的智慧和心灵，一面帮助我在一片烂泥塘里站起来，如果不是书籍的话，我就沉没在这片泥塘里，我就要被愚蠢和下流淹死。”书是心灵的净化剂，寻找宁静的阶梯，而不读书，我们的心灵就会积满灰尘、脆弱无比。

一个爱读书的民族，肯定是一个强大的民族。特别是思想上的，灵魂上的。犹太民族不仅涌现出的思想家科学家多，而且拥有亿万家财的富贾巨商的数量也居于世界各民族之前。马克思、爱因斯坦、弗洛伊德等一大批天才令世人瞩目，而在美国屈指可数的亿万富翁中，犹太人就占了一半以上。犹太人能为这个世界贡献出这么多巨子，酷爱读书是重要原因之一。美国的强大我们有目共睹，据调查，如今美国人业余时间最喜欢的三项活动所占时间分别为：一是与家人和孩子玩，占20%;二是看电视，占21%;三是读书，占35%，高居榜首。美国人很忙，但忙有忙的办法，大量图书被录音、制成光盘和磁带，供人走路、开车、健身时听。怪不得美国人在世界上这么牛气，原来人家也是个玩命读书的民族。而我们呢，反倒没多少人有读书习惯。来自新华网的报道曾说：“两年一度的‘全国国民阅读与购买倾向抽样调查’发现，5年来我国国民的读书率持续走低……值得注意的是，我国国民中有读书‘习惯’的读者大概只占到5%左右。”中国13亿人口，经常读书的只有5%，这是一个多么可怜的数字啊? 如果一个民族，不能从读书中获得乐趣，意味着这个民族缺乏求知欲，也缺乏享受精神生活的渴望。正像赫胥黎曾经预言过：“人类文化灭亡的方式是没有人想读书，没有人想知道真理，文化成为了滑稽戏。”总不能在我们这个时代，让他的预言真的成为了现实吧。

读书可以让贫乏和平庸远离我们，让博学和睿智丰富我们，让生命价值得以提升。读书可以使我们的精神更加富有，可以使我们的道德更加高尚，可以使我们的人生更加亮丽。“读好书、读书好、好读书”应该成为我们的一种信念和永恒追求。在读中学，在读中乐，与书为友，为人生奠基，让我们共同营造一个大大的浓浓的书香世界! “爱书吧，它是一切美好诞生的源泉!”

小学英语教师读书笔记(一)

俗话说：“良好的开端是成功的一半”。上课也一样。教师的循循诱导，能让学生产生强烈的求知欲和好奇心，从而更积极主动地参加课堂教学，为整节课的成功作准备。

一、导入：⒈歌曲导入。⒉设置悬念。当然导入很多，教学中不能单一的用一种导入，也许这种导入刚开始学生觉得很有劲，但天天用学生就会厌倦了。所以教师设计时要多多新颖，多多改变，尽量多样性。

二、创设情景，多用直观教学.

由于小学生年龄较小，生活经验不丰富，知识范围有限，决定了他们对直观、新颖、有趣的材料容易理解和接受。比如学生学习“good morning ﹑good afternoon ﹑good evening”这三个问候词时很容易混淆，我就用道具设置情景：画了三幅图，有从东面初升的太阳表示上午，有正在上方炎热的太阳表示中午，有明亮的月亮表示晚上。再叫学生用“good morning ﹑good afternoon ﹑good evening”来说，加深了学生的印象。作为一个小学英语教师表情要丰富，如果表情呆滞，语言平淡，学生就不能全身心投入学习中。所以在课堂上，老师需要生动地表演，丰富的表情，使学生进入一个童话世界。在制作教具时可让学生自己动手画、动手做。在教学中要用到的图片，可以提早几天布置下去，当他们的作品被运用在课堂上时，孩子们都很兴奋。这样使学生体会到成功的喜悦也激发了学英语的兴趣。此外画图片，也培养了学生的绘画能力，也可让他们熟悉一下将要学的新知识，真是一举多得啊!

三、运用多种教学方式使学生“玩学结合”。

爱玩是孩子的天性。教师在课前充分利用教材内容，精心设计一系列知识性、趣味性强的听、说、读、写教学游戏，使学生边玩游戏边学习，在丰富多彩的游戏中接受英语，喜欢英语，达到“玩与学”相结合的目的。在小学英语书上有许多单词要记住，这就得通过让学生在各种游戏中慢慢学习单词，而不是死记硬背。我们要掌握的单词以卡片、图片、头饰、动作等各种不同形式展现给学生，通过各种游戏进行渗透。
