The generation gap refers to the difference in attitude toward thing or the

lack of understanding between young people and older folks.

In families as well as in society, the young and the older may not agree

with each other on this and that from time to time. Young people would llke to

make as much money as they could and spend as much money as they could earn

People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

My hometown in dinghai, is an ancient city. It is surrounded on three sides by mountains and faces the matsu islands in the east, is a famous lienchiang harbour. Have "city center" of the name, and beautiful scenery. Today, let me take you to go and have a look.

村外，就是一望无际的大海。那儿美不胜收，还时常听到渔船发动机的声音。而小朋友们最喜欢的就是到海滩上捡贝壳了，它们颜色不一，大小各不相同，能捡到各种各样的贝壳。要是你幸运的话，还能捡到乳白色的大蚌，说不定还有珍珠呢。不过要告诉你，捡贝壳最佳时间是下午，因为早上会涨潮的，哈哈。晚上，大海安静的出奇，似乎也跟我们人一样安详地进入梦乡，为新的一天做准备。

盛夏，骄阳似火，大地都被“烤干”了。不用愁家里没有空调。来来来，到我们定海的码头来吧。只要站在那里，就有一丝丝清凉的海风吹过你的面颊，让你感到凉爽。而它，那凉爽的海风24小时永不停息地为你服务。

再来看看新村，是我们定海扩建的村子。这可比旧城好多了，新楼林立，宾馆酒店随处可见，各种店铺到处都是，摆小摊做生意的也是星罗密布，真是热闹非凡!

走进那城墙上刻着“会城重镇”的城门，我们来到了定海旧城。这儿一个通道，那儿一个巷口，就把旧城串的四通八达。我和表弟经常在里面钻来钻去，嘻嘻，好像很适合玩躲猫猫的游戏。这里的路和房子都是用石头砌成的，充满了古色古香。我最喜欢的，就是清晨时的定海古城。清晨，雾从山谷里升起，穿插在山间的定海古城白茫茫一片，雾把旧城封得严严实实的。就在这时，太阳升起来了，千万缕像利剑一样的金光穿过树梢，照射在各个巷口的石板路上。知了叫了，鸟儿停在树梢上唱起歌来，宁静的定海顿时又热闹起来。

这就是我的故乡，那连江著名的港湾—定海。

俗话说：“每逢佳节倍思亲”，二十年后，我又回到了家乡!

一到家，清新的空气扑面而来，真好闻呀!

放眼望去，呵!到处都是树木。大山仿佛披上了一层绿纱，远看好像一颗绿宝石。

房子呢?仔细一看，原来都建在大树上。进去一看，里面设备齐全，家电、用品、食物……要什么有什么。

听!那是什么声音?原来是百灵鸟的歌声;看!那是什么?原来是小松鼠呀!听着音乐，和小松鼠玩，没有什么比这惬意的事了。

走，上大街转转!商店里全部都是电子设备，商品应有尽有，还是刷脸支付，也太高级了!

人都在哪里?在地下通道里呀!原来拥堵不堪的马路变得秩序井然，也不堵车了。

去看看小河。河水清澈见底，里面的小鱼欢快地游着，水底的水草看得清清楚楚，真美呀!

学校在哪儿?原来早就没有了。现在都在家里上课，根本不用去学校。而且电子屏还是无幅射的。

我爱我的家乡，因为这里有许多的风景名胜，有风景如画的双湖公园，自然天成的九龙口，绿意盎然的西塘河风光带。最有名的就是九龙口了，那里花草树木都生机勃勃，还有一个动人的传说呢，很久很久以前，人间有一条恶蟒在这儿兴风作浪，使老百姓不得安宁。后来惊动了玉皇大帝，玉皇大帝十分着急，就派出了九条神龙与恶蟒搏斗，形成了打斗的痕迹，由此，就变成了九条河流。

我爱我的家乡，因为这里有一个风景如画的双湖公园，那里有清澈见底的湖水，蓝天白云，茂密的芦苇，成群的鸭鹅，构成了一幅水乡美景图。坐上小船，划到荷花池里去采莲蓬，剥开枯萎的莲蓬露出了嫩白的莲子，让人真想咬上一口。再划到菱角丛中，去采菱角，翻开菱角的反面可以看到一颗颗像绿元宝似的菱角，如果你运气好的话，还可以看到一个个圆溜溜的鸟蛋呢!
