My mother is a teacher, so she pays special attention to my education. Before I went to primary school, she bought me a lot of novel books. I remembered that when the hot movie Harry Porter came out, she bought me the novel the other day. I was so surprised and read these books quickly. Thanks to my mother, she cultivated my interest to read successfully. I keep reading books every day, even though I was busy with my homework, I would take out the books to read some chapters before I went to sleep. Reading these books helps me a lot. 又如03’年广东省中考“阅读理解”短文(C)篇中有这样一句话：

In the past, there were forests all around Lake Ponkapog 初中英语, so the rainwater was clean.

短文后的题目是：

In the past Lake Ponkapog was surrounded by ________. A. fish B. rain C. birds D. forests

【分析】题目所要问的是“Lake Ponkapog四周过去被什么东西所环绕？” 而阅读材料中已用There be句型表达出了这层意思，句式不同，却有异曲同工之妙。

Christmas is coming

I like christmas, it is just like our spring festival.

Maybe the spring festival is much more important and interesting than christmas, but i like christmas day better. Because we can spend time with our friends and classmates during christmas when it is snowy,

Christmas becomes much more lovely, just like in fairytales. I can imagine i am in a fairytale, the girl who sold the matches is my friend, the ugly duck becoming more and more beautiful and so on.Wwhat a beautiful place! so we can also call christmas “snowy lovely day.”

On christmas day, shops are red and green. There are so many christmas cards, christmas hats, christmas dolls and many colourful things. So shops look very beautiful.
