今天是中秋节，在我的一再央求下，妈妈准备给我自己动手做月饼，我的心情特别激动，整个人像小鸟一样飞来飞去的。

我先跟奶奶来到超市挑选了上好的红薯和紫薯，回家后又将它们清洗干净，放在笼蒸里蒸熟，等它们凉快下来后，我就将它们的外衣剥掉，用调羹捣成了泥。

感觉红薯已经很黏了，我就取出一勺放入月饼模具，中间再加一些我喜欢的馅料，比如花生酱、芝麻酱等等，为了把馅料包紧，我又用一勺子红薯泥把口封起来，并且用调羹压得实实的。最后，我轻轻轻轻推动模具，一只漂亮的月饼就出来了。

月饼出来后，妈妈给我拍照发在朋友圈，叔叔阿姨们纷纷点赞，我心里别提多高兴了。

晚上，全家人吃着我亲手做的月饼，高兴地称赞健康美味，我也从中获得了自己动手的无穷乐趣，今年的中秋节真是不同寻常啊！

中秋吃月饼的习俗据传最早还是在唐代，唐太宗在贞观四年时，征讨突厥得胜并生擒其头领，八月十五凯旋回京。为庆贺胜利，京城长安通宵狂欢。当时有个经商的吐蕃人向唐太宗献饼祝捷。李世民接过华丽的礼盒，拿出胡饼笑指天上明月说：“应将胡饼邀蟾蜍(即月亮)”，随之把胡饼分给群臣食之，这胡饼就是后来的月饼。

还有一种流传更广的说法，中秋吃月饼的习俗，据说是由元末流传下来的。相传元朝时，中原广大人民不甘受蒙古人的残酷统治，纷纷起义抗元。朱元璋欲联合反抗力量，但元官兵搜查严密，苦于无从传递消息。

所以刘伯温便想出了一条计策，命王昭光制造饼子，将写有“八月十五夜起义”字样的纸条藏入饼子里面。再使人分头传送到各地起义军中，通知他们在八月十五日晚上起义响应。因而一举推翻了元朝。

为了纪念这一功绩，因而中秋节吃月饼的习俗也就传了下来。特别在我国东北地区，更有“八月十五杀达子”的说法。人们用月饼寄托思念故乡，思念亲人之情，祈盼丰收、幸福，谐成天下人们美好的心愿。

中秋节前夕，黄斌老人的女儿为他快递了一盒月饼，触发了老人的悲伤。在我看来，女儿的行为确实不合适。常回家看看，陪伴亲人左右，自古以来皆为中华民族倡导的美德，绝不能因一条江河而隔断。

为爱亲历亲为，常回家看看，不仅体现了个人的品质涵养，更体现了一个民族的文化渊源。法律规定：子女需在一年内多次探望家中老人。这项规定实具合理性，假使每个子女为了自己的事业都如群鸟离林，家中的老人谁去牵挂？而十九、二十几年的养育之恩，谁还能铭记？假使“女儿”的行为普遍成了一种社会现象，那么这个民族的根基必定是松软的，民族的凝聚力也必然大为减弱。

No amount of ordinary school work can take the place of friends acquired in the informal familiarities of activities.

在我看来，每个学生都应该参加一些课外活动，因为从这些活动中，我们可以学到很多宝贵的东西，我们在课堂上不学。学校不仅仅是一个学习的地方，在“说谎”或“奠定”，或是什么造成了每天的时间表。最后，课外活动拓宽我们的熟人圈子。普通学校没有多少工作可以在非正式熟悉收购活动的朋友的地方。
