My home town is in the center of Xuzhou which was a quiet and beautiful place. In the past, there were many animals. They were lovely and nice. The air was fresh and there were many birds fly in the sky.

Over the past years, it has changed a lot. At the present, it becomes a modern town and develops a lot. Now, the people in Xuzhou are richer than before, so most of people go to work by bus or by underground. Sometimes, they also drive their private cars to work. 秋天，阵阵秋风拂面而过，让人多少有点寒意。群群大雁南飞，沙棘果鲜红鲜红，这一串，那一簇，点缀着高原的秋景。远处的红叶、黄叶点缀着苍翠的照壁山。田野里的青稞低下了头，油菜花也谢了，铺伏在大地上。农民们乐呵呵的，心中充满了秋收的喜悦。

冬天如期而来。猛烈的寒风把秋天送回大地。所有的树木都枯了，只有那顽强的松树一如既往的碧绿着，和这里的冬天抗争着。雪纷纷扬扬终于落了下来，落在了我们的校园里，瞧，整个校园银装素裹。在太阳的照耀下，点点的金光一闪一闪，就像晚上的小星星。看，那边的树枝上开满了奇形怪状的白花，好美啊！同学们开心地玩耍着，滚雪球，堆雪人，打雪仗。当一天中最暖的时候，缕缕箭样的阳光照射在厚厚的积雪上，雪便开始一点一点地融化。雪水汇集成万条小溪，流淌在可爱的校园里。北风飕飕，寒气袭人，粉红的晚霞铺洒在冰雪之中学校显得更加可爱。

远处祁连山又披上了厚厚的银装钢铁巨龙般地，横卧在家乡的北方。

所有这一切既是大自然给予的，是人们用勤劳的双手创造的。愿明天的家乡门源如诗如画。

but it has not always been like that. in the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. for the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.

everything has changed since liberation. the people, led by the party, have got rid of the mud and dirt. they have put up schools, theaters, shops and flats. they have an assembly hall and a hospital. along the river they have built offices, hotels and parks. a lot of factories have sprung up. on the river, streamers and boats come and go busily, day and night. they carry the products of our industries to all parts of the country.

i love my hometown, and i love its people. they also have changed. healthy and happy, they are going all out to build socialism.

阳春三月，气温渐渐变暖，河里的冰块渐渐消融，河面上也渐渐“热闹”起来。清早，天还没全亮，只要你细细的听，就会听到呵呵船路过的声音，这是村民在用自家的交通工具，因为那里水路比公路还要方便。不一会儿旭日东升，阳光普照，河里充满生机，鸟儿站在生长河里的芦苇高声歌唱，歌声非常婉转动听。微风拂过，芦苇摇摇摆摆，鸟儿刚好在上面荡秋千，有趣极了。早饭过后，人们开始忙碌起来:有的渔夫开始撒网涨鱼，收笼倒海鲜。有的养鸭户则带着她们的致富宝贝—鸭子出去透透气儿，成群的鸭子排着整起的队伍向前驶去，每只鸭子都叫两声那该是怎样的趣事。

夏天，骄阳似火，热不可耐孩子们纠缠着爸爸妈妈带他们到河里游泳，“扑通扑通，”一个接着一个往水里跳，在水里游泳，比赛。有的甚至还比起了捉鱼捉虾，瞧他们那股高兴劲儿。更好的是荷花开了在满池绿荷的映衬下，荷花显得更清淡美丽。再远处看就倾浮在合理的红胭脂，又犹如落在河上的云霞，别具一绝。荷叶展绿叠翠，碧盘上水珍珠滚来滚去，皎洁无暇。再看隐居在绿荷之中的一枝枝亭亭玉立的荷花，无不人使不想到那是一位位含笑欲放，娇羞欲语的仙子。真所谓是:接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红。

秋天人们开始忙秋收了。大地一片金黄:田野里，高粱涨得笑弯了腰，在说:快把我收回去吧，我快涨坏了!果园，苹果挂满了枝头，把树枝压得沉甸甸的，露着孩子似的笑脸。各种树木都穿上了华丽的金装。田野上，果园里，到处是人们忙碌的身影，没事的小孩子们也来帮忙，看船，看稻，捆草，背篮子，爬树，摘果，忙得不亦乐乎。家乡到处洋溢着丰收的喜庆，为近年又是一个丰收年而庆祝。

转眼间，冬天到来，天气变冷。树上枯黄的黄叶随着寒风纷纷投入大地母亲的怀。早上，一开门一股刺面的寒风扑面而来，使人不禁打个寒颤。中午，才见一点于光。一天下来，除有急事外，很少有人出去，一般都在家里。不过，我们那里再冷，也从来不用烤火来取暖。腊月，家家户户都开始忙过年:淹鱼，淹肉，洗衣洗被。到腊月下旬，就开始扫尘，贴对联，蒸包子，做鱼圆，(蒸包子和做鱼圆是我们老家的风俗，一般每年每家都要做的)迎接新年。

我喜欢我的老家，更喜欢老家的春夏秋冬四季。

There are four seasons in a year.They are spring,summer,autumn and

winter.Every season has three months and each month has about thirty days.

The first season is spring.In spring time we have warm weather and sunny

days.There are many beautiful flowers in the gardens and in the fields.The birds

begin to sing their songs.Everything comes to life again.

The second season we call summer.In summer the weather is very hot and it

rains a lot.All trees are beautiful with their green leaves.The sky is very

clear and blue,and the sunshine is much stronger than that in other seasons,so

many people go to the seaside or the mountains to avoid the heat.

Autumn is the third season of the year.In autumn the weather becomes cooler

day by day.It is the best season we have.So many people like it very

much,especially the farmers.They are very busy with their harvest.

The last season is winter.It comes with frost and snow.The weather grows

colder and colder,and much snow falls.But winter is not very long with us,for

spring comes again soon.
