一、用心审准题意，否则“欲速则不达”。

审题是高考写作的第一步，也是决定作文成败的关键，是考生写作的重中之重。虽然高考写作时间很有限，但“磨刀不误砍柴工”，必须舍得花5分钟来审清题意。不同类型的作文在审题上有不同的侧重点。

比如：命题作文重点分析题目本身的构成要素。如以“人生如花”为题写作，就要首先划分出命题由三个要素组成：本体“人生”、喻体“花”、比喻词“如”。命题者意在让考生谈对“人生”的见解，但不能盲目下笔大谈人生，而必须紧扣喻体“花”的多层面的特点来揭示人生的内涵。如由花要经受风吹雨打的考验来揭示人生注定要经受坎坷挫折；由花儿争奇斗艳，释放所有来揭示人生应轰轰烈烈，燃烧自己；由花期短暂来揭示人生苦短，当学会珍惜；由花的香气悠远来揭示人生应注重操守、名节；由花儿立于枝头来揭示人生应积极向上、充满希望；由花中之梅历经风霜冰雪的考验而怒放来揭示人生贵在坚贞。由此看来，命题作文审题要紧扣题目中各个要素去审视挖掘。

二、立意力求新颖、高远而深刻。

没有统帅的军队是乌合之众，而没有主题的文章则是无根之木。立意是否正确直接关系到作文的成败，立意是否新颖、高远、深刻是拉开作文档次的关键。

要使立意深刻高远并非要宏大叙事，而是要能以小见大，见微知著，要能用看似不起眼的生活小事，甚至是一个动作、一句话、一次微笑、一个眼神等来揭示重大的思想意义，反映震撼人心的主题，来反映考生正确而高尚的人生观与价值观，让“作文”与“做人”相统一，才能提高作文的思想格调与社会价值，才能用笔下的文章启发人、感染人。 例如以“举手投足之间”为题的一篇优秀作文中写道：“一次，在青岛市的机场附近，有位50多岁的女侨胞蹲在地上用水果刀剜一枚一角的硬币，那硬币与沥青紧紧地粘在一起，非常结实。女侨胞费了好大的劲儿，才把硬币取出来。她把硬币放在手心上吹了又吹，然后掏出一小块洁白的丝巾，小心地包藏起来。许多人目睹了这一过程，却不知道女侨胞为什么这样做。女侨胞解释说：“我看见那上面有国徽，整天被人踩来踩去，心里总觉得不是滋味。”

三、精选材料，根据表现主题的需要巧妙取舍。

俗话说：“巧妇难为无米之炊。”写作文离不开材料，材料的好差与作文的优劣密切相关，因此必须用心选材。具体做法如下：

⒈避生就熟，得心应手。选材时贵有自知之明，避开自己陌生的、拿不准的，选择自己亲身经历的、深有感悟的、了如指掌的材料，这样才能得心应手，例如以“举手投足之间”为题的几篇满分作文中选取的就是祖父、祖母于举手投足间体现出的良苦用心，或是身边的人们在施舍给路边的乞儿一枚硬币时是否弯下腰、低下头、伸出手等细小的日常生活琐事， 这样写真事、抒真情，就不会矫揉造作、胡编乱造、失去自我，不会出现因材料不熟而张冠李戴等“硬伤”。

2．弃旧取新，与时俱进。白居易有云：“文章合为时而著，歌诗合为事而作。”高考考纲也要求材料要新鲜，因而选材应把屈原、李白之类的古人压一压，应该紧跟时代步伐，具有时代气息。例如2008年高考湖北卷的不少优秀作文中就把紧扣时代脉搏的雪灾、地震、奥运、环保、和谐、文明、节约以及感动中国人物等方面的热点素材恰当地融入文章中，给我印象很深的就是考生写到在地震灾难中，三岁的小朗铮在解放军救出他的那一刻，他举起了稚嫩的右手来表达内心的感恩之情的素材，这样的材料既富有热度，又能彰显时代的主弦律，令人感动不已。

3．去粗取精,以一当十。写作选材时应去粗劣取精华，选典型的有代表性的材料，才能有说服力、、感染力和震撼力，才能以一当十，以少胜多。选材需要慧眼识珠，不能盲目地“捡到篮子就是菜”。例如以“文化偶像”为话题，可写的人很多，我们必须选取相当具有代表性的，如奔走于各国倡导仁政的孟子，具有人格魅力的爱国诗人屈原，追求科学与真理的布鲁诺，为黑奴解放而努力的马丁·路德·金，还有《二泉映月》的创造者瞎子阿炳等令人刻骨铭心的人物。

4．类比联想，文思泉涌。考生若遇到有些较难把握的材料作文，连审题、立意都抓破头皮，就更不知什么材料能用，这时不妨尝试一下类比联想的办法，用类比联想之法去搜索与题目上所给材料相同或相似的材料，就会比较切题，而且通过类比联想到的这些熟悉材料也有助于抓准立意方向，另外要努力挣脱与回避出题人所给的原材料，写作时若一字不漏地抄录试卷上的原材料，不免给阅卷人留下只会照搬、素材贫乏的坏印象。

四、精彩表达，让文章以优美的文采展示超群的才情。

要使文章出色，总应该有几处语言上的“亮点”。

首先，要讲求准确选用字词。如有考生写到：“光阴太瘦，于不知不觉间从我的手指缝里溜走了。”一个“瘦”字，巧用通感，十分精妙。

第二，运用恰当的修辞手法，来增添文采。如气势恢宏的排比：“邹忌有一面镜，一面真实的铜镜，照出了他的修长身材，照出了他的潇洒容貌；唐太宗有一面镜，一面叫魏征的镜，照出了一代开明帝王，照出了一世贞观之治；司马迁有一面镜，一面历史的镜，照出了上至轩辕下至汉武的人世沧桑，照出了史家之绝唱，无韵之离骚。”由此可见，恰当地运用一些修辞手法会使语言极富表现力。

第四，让文中的句式灵活多样。整散句结合，长短句交错，巧妙的运用设问句、反问句、感叹句，使文章灵气四溢，开合自如，避免平铺直叙。
