过了正月十五，春节就过完了。学生们该去学校上学，大人们又去照常做事。人们又开始了新的一年的生活。

The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (阴历)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth

day of the fifth lunar month (农历史五月第五天). Dragon Boat Festival is my favourite

festival.During the holiday of Dragon Boat Festival,I got together with my

family to have a big meal.We ofen ate the zongzi.It tasted very nice.And we saw

the Dragon Boat Races.I felt excited because the race was bustling with noise

and excitement.At Dragon Boat Festival,we also drank realgar wine.Some people

thought drank realgar wine can protect themselves from illness.Dragon Boat

Festival was interesting and I like it very much.

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant (有意义的)holiday celebrated

(庆祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (历史最悠久). The Dragon Boat

Festival is celebrated by boat races (龙舟赛) in the shape of dragons. Competing

teams (竞争团队) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (击古)racing to reach the

finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs

(传统习俗)to attempts to (试图)rescue (搭救) the patriotic poet (爱国诗人)Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan

drowned (溺死) on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese

citizens now throw bamboo leaves (竹叶) filled with cooked rice into the

water.

Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later

on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings(棕子).

The celebrations is a time for protection (防护) from evil (邪恶) and disease

(疾病) for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as

hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions (营养品),

and displaying (展示) portraits (画像) of evils nemesis(邪恶报应), Chung Kuei. If one

manages to (成功做...) stand (直立)an egg on its end at exactly 12:00 noon, the

following year will be a lucky one.

Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous(粘的) rice dumplings

called zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fish) and race dragon

boats in memory of Qus dramatic death.

When the traditional festival comes, everybody is excited about it, because

they will have holiday to relax. The meaning of these festivals is remembered by

the old generation all the time, while some young people do not know. So when we

enjoy the holiday, we need to know more about the traditional culture.

A foreign girl shot a video to ask Chinese young people something about

Mid-autumn festival. To everybody’s surprise, a lot of them did not know the

story about this big day. When I was very small, I have watched many TV series

telling about the myth of Hou Yi and his wife. I learned many Chinese myths and

legends from the shows. Though some people enjoy the festival, they should learn

the culture.

With the development of Chinese economic power, more and more foreigners

are interested in learning Chinese. Some are very crazy about the traditional

culture. They study famous great old poems and novels, treating the great

characters as idols.

The traditional festival is the important way to preserve our culture,

which is the great treasure of human being. We are so proud of it, because it is

priceless.

提起端午节，大家肯定都很熟悉，五月五，过端午，赛龙舟，吃粽子。我们家的端午节也不例外，总会有一个“特别”的活动，不信就听我细细道来。

还记得去年的端午节，风和日丽，正是赛龙舟的好时节，爸爸带我去西溪湿地看龙舟比赛。刚到场地就看到围观的人很多，我们也挤了进去。

看！江上有4条龙舟，上面坐满了人，头上缠着红巾，每条龙舟前端都有一个敲鼓的人。看着每个选手都精神饱满，迫不及待的准备开始比赛，我想谁会拿第一呢？随着一声嘹亮的哨响，龙舟赛开始了。只听见“咚咚，咚咚！”的敲鼓声，它是那么地震耳欲聋，振奋人心，敲鼓的人敲得越快，划得人就划得越快；敲的人越竭尽全力，划的人就越拼命的摇摆着手臂，嘴里不停地喊着一二一二的口号，木浆在水里不停的前后摆动，不时溅起银光闪闪的水花。一条条龙舟伴随着鼓声，越来越快！它们如同几条真正的巨龙，要飞向广阔无比的天空。

江上的划手们不停地摆动手臂，似乎驾起龙舟要“飞”到终点。它们跟着鼓手的节奏，鼓点一落就用力，一敲一划，一敲一划，龙舟像离弦的箭一样飞速前进，鼓声不停的在呐喊，远看着离终点越来越近，我紧紧拉着爸爸的手，忍不住在岸边给他们加油。四条龙舟的实力真是旗鼓相当，不分上下啊！快了，快了，马上到终点了！四条龙舟就像争夺金珠一般，不停地向前飞！

冲线了，冲线了，获胜的“龙”像获得金珠一样，不停地欢呼着！我也一蹦三尺高。对手相互祝福，在这欢喜的日子里，没有扫兴的气氛。

这是一场多么激动人心的赛龙舟，期待下一次的端午节。

春节是中华名族的传统节日，这是一个辞旧迎新的日子。我们每个人都送走了满载收获的一年，又迎来了充满希望的一年。你看，大街小巷，张灯结彩；你听，鞭炮声，此起彼伏，响彻云霄。大家兴高采烈的说着：“过年了！”

今天是大年三十，我早早的起床了，我们收拾完毕后，我和爸爸，妈妈到家附近的商场去采购年货。十分钟，我们到了商场。商场里，人山人海，商品是琳琅满目，动听的“恭喜发财，恭喜发财”的音乐回荡在耳畔，我们的心情格外舒畅。我们迅速就加入了“采购大军”的行列，两个小时后我们满载而归，拎着大包小包的“战利品”回家了。

晚上，我和爸爸去放鞭炮，鞭炮声震耳欲聋，天空中，蓝的，绿的，红的，黄的，紫的……五彩缤纷，万紫千红。

吃过年夜饭后，全家人围在一起包起了饺子。看着大人们都在包饺子，我和妹妹也按捺不住了，我和妹妹进行了包饺子比赛。起初，我们都不会包，妈妈耐心的教着我们：“拿好面皮，放入适当的馅，然后对折……”我按照妈妈的说法，我的作品完成了，我包的饺子像个小面饼，只能躺着，不能站着，可是我并没有灰心，我还是认真的练习，一个比一个“漂亮”了。这时，看着可爱的妹妹，妹妹满脸的面粉，好像“大白猫”，逗得我们哈哈大笑。我包的饺子下锅了，我看着自己包的饺子像蚕蜕皮似的，一会儿皮和馅就分开了。可是我吃着自己包的饺子，心里美滋滋的，像吃了蜜一样甜，我体会到了劳动的快乐。

我们在欢歌笑语中送走了过去的一年，迎来了充满希望的马年。我心里想：我又长大了一岁，我会更加努力学习，不让爸妈为我操心。
