Mid-autumn Day is a Chinese festival.It usually comes in September or October .On that day we usually eat a big dinner and mooncakes.It is said "Hou Yi" missed his wife,so he made mooncakes.It looks like the moon.There are many kinds of mooncakes.They are small round cakes with meat,nuts or something sweet inside .eating mooncakes has been our custom.Families stay outside in the open air eat a big dinner and mooncakes.The most important thing is looking at the moon,On that day,the moon kooks brighter and rounder.We call this moon the full moon.On that day,families get together,so we call this day getting –together.This is Mid –autumn Day.I love it very much.Because on that day I can eat mooncakes.And my brother comes back home.He works outside all year.Only that day and the Spring Festival.He comes back.So that day I am especially happy.On that day my family gets together.

春节：

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar‘s new year.In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food Mid-Autumn Festival is the first festival after the beginning of autumn,the day people celebrate the harvest,Because the full moon is round and symbolizes reunion,the festival is also known as the festival of reunion.In this harvest and the reunion of the day,people will reunite with their families under the full moon,enjoy the results of hard work; when the full moon rises at the right time,people will put on the table in a rich tribute fruits and mooncakes,Thank god gives people to harvest the fruit,the other to pray for good weather next year.Just as turkeys symbolize Thanksgiving Day,mooncakes symbolize Chinas Mid-Autumn Festival.

中秋节是立秋以后的第一个节日,是人们庆祝丰收的日子,洽逢十五月圆人团圆,因此中秋节对于华人来讲也象征着团圆.在这个丰收与团圆的日子里,人们会与家人团聚在满月下,享用辛勤劳动的成果;当满月升起的时侯,人们会在在贡桌上摆上丰盛的水果和月饼,一方面感恩上天赐予人们丰收的果实,另一方面祈祷来年风调雨顺.就像火鸡象征西方感恩节一样,月饼象征着中国中秋节.

中国有许多的传统节日，有春节、端午节、重阳节、元宵节等等，其中最传统，最隆重的节日就是春节了，关于春节还有一个传说呢。

在古时候，有两个怪物，一个叫“年”，一个叫“夕”，然后这两个怪物非常厉害，“年”一次可以吃掉十头牛，“夕”杀人不眨眼，村民们都非常害怕他们,有一个壮士就召集了许多村民，大家一起用箭射死了“夕”，于是人们便把这天定为“除夕”。第二天，壮士又带着村民们去找“年”。在战斗中，人们发现“年”不怕弓箭，但是却非常怕响声和红色的东西，壮士便让村民们敲锣打鼓，并拿出红色的东西来吓“年”，最后终于把“年”吓跑了。以后每当这个时候人们就要放爆竹来吓“年”。于是就慢慢演变成现在的过年了。

现在过年，吃主要节目之一。在除夕夜，全家都回来团聚，大家围在桌边一起吃年夜饭是最幸福的了。吃完年夜饭后还要看《春节联欢晚会》这都是必不可少的。

在我老家过年还有一个有趣的节目。院子里洒满了芝麻秸儿，我们在上面踩的咯吱咯吱响，这叫“踩岁”;闹得筋疲力尽，睡前给大人请安，这叫“辞岁”;大人们就要拿出钱给我们，这叫“压岁”。

到了晚上，就要放爆竹，“冲天炮”、“狗尾草”、“扇子”都是孩子们喜欢的，从除夕夜到天亮彻夜不绝。

好了，不多说了，我要去吃年夜饭了。

在各种各样的节日里，我最喜欢春节。

今年的大年初一，我小区里热热闹闹的，家家户户都忙忙碌碌的：有的贴倒“福”，有的在准备喜气洋洋的年夜大餐，小孩子穿着新衣，拿着压岁钱，高高兴兴地跑到小区公园里玩去了……

晚上，我一家人带着烟花爆竹下了楼，这时候的小区已经热闹非凡，几乎家家户户都出来放鞭炮了。我堵起耳朵，看着我的爸爸放响了地一挂鞭炮后，也赶紧从一堆烟花中那了一个我最喜欢的烟花：小星星我小心翼翼地把它放在地上，做了个手势让我的爸爸来点火，然后我跑到远一点的地方，我的爸爸用打火机点燃了导火线，两三秒后烟花就“嗖”地一声飞天了，在漆黑的夜幕上亮起了红色的一点，“呯”的一声，那一点又绽放开来，成了一朵色彩绚丽的菊花，当菊花的颜色渐渐消失是，随着“噼里啪啦”的声音在菊花后面亮出了星星一般的火星，接着第二朵，第三朵…。。除夕晚上的夜空被这些美丽的烟火装扮得无比漂亮。

12点时，震耳欲聋的鞭炮声更是此起彼伏，新的一年在鞭炮声中转来了。

这个春节，我过得真开心。

我最喜欢的节日

My favorite holiday is New Year. It is a very important festival in Chinese culture. In fact, its the highlight of the year. Everyone returns home for a family reunion. We have a big feast and chat about all the things that have happened in our lives. People also visit each other. We exchange gifts and good wishes for the next year.

我最喜欢的节日是新年。在中国文化中，新年是一个非常重要的节日。事实上，它是一年中最好的（日子）。每个人都回家与家人团聚。我们有一个比较大的盛会并且（与他人）畅聊所有发生在我们生活中的事。人们总是互相拜访。我们交换礼物和来年的祝福。

New Year is especially fun for kids. Thats because we get

presents and treats, including red envelopes filled with money. But we never forget that this holiday is a time to give thanks. We feel grateful for our family and the things that we have. Finally, we think about the future and the great year ahead. 对孩子来说，新年是一个特别快乐（的日子）。因为我们可以得到礼物和乐趣，这其中就包括红包。但我们从未忘记新年是一个给予（他人）感恩的日子。我们对家人以及拥有的事物感恩。最后，我们考虑未来和美好的新一年。

我喜欢的节日有很多，有清明节、有端午节、有儿童节、有中秋节，但我最喜欢的就是春节了。

除夕夜，街上“劈劈啪啪”的鞭炮声接连不断，空中闪烁着耀眼的火花，家家户户灯火通明，金黄色、黄绿色的窗户，在忽明忽暗、忽燃忽灭花中，好象同时打开的电视机，在播放精彩的节目。

我站在六楼的阳台上，放眼望去，除夕夜晚的天空格外亮，许多色彩缤纷的烟花在天空中闪亮着，有的时候好像还要把天笼照住似的，常常是这里炸开了，还没等落下就又升起了几个，然后再炸开、再升起……有的烟花以闪电般的速度，十个十个的往上蹿，在空中炸开，倾泻而下，好像在下一场美丽的流星雨，又好似一条大瀑布，还真有点“飞流直下三千尺”的感觉呢!我的心情格外爽朗，这真是“爆竹声声辞旧岁，家家户户迎新春”。

The Spring Festival with cheerful pace is approached step by step, my mother and I went back to their hometown.

That evening after dinner, we began to sort out tomorrow at noon meal, first in the fridge, on the pot to fry in tomorrow.

I didnt sleep that night, as long as in the evening 12 o clock firecrackers can ring, "snapped" at that time, I cant sleep, will be thinking about went downstairs to set off firecrackers.

春节迈着欢快的步伐一步一步的逼近了，我和妈妈也回到了老家。

老家和深圳就是不一样，深圳一点过年的气氛都没有，冷冷清清的，而老家，姨妈家里挂满了腊肉腊鱼和干货，还有我最喜欢吃的兔子呢!

姨妈和妈妈在打扫卫生：先将每一个房间用吸尘器吸一遍，用鸡毛掸子将有些小墙角的蜘蛛网卷调，再用扫把地扫一遍，最后拖一遍。姨妈和妈妈又在准备过年那天接待客人的小吃，用果盘装了一盘水果，又用令一个盘子装了一盘糖果。

而我和姐姐呢，那然就准备过年那天晚上玩的鞭炮了。姨爹带我和姐姐一起去批发市场买鞭炮，哇!琳琅满目的鞭炮，看起来都很好玩!我挑了几个看似很好玩的，就回家帮姨妈和妈妈“干活”了。

在过年的前一个晚上，我“浏览”一下我买的鞭炮，看看买的都好不好玩，我将买的鞭炮全部都放了一个，剩下的就过年时玩，哇!我竟然买爆竹?我非常惊奇。还看了看装鞭炮的袋子，原来我还买了一些小烟花。

那天晚上吃完饭，我们就开始把明天中午的饭菜理出来了，先放在冰箱，明天下锅炒一下就行了。

那天晚上我没睡着觉，因为只要到了晚上12点鞭炮声就会“啪啪啪啪”地响起来，那时，我就睡不着觉了，一心就会想着下楼去放鞭炮了。
