He may gently reprimand an official or even suggest to parliament that a law be altered. The following case is a typical example of the Ombudsmans work.

A foreigner living in a Swedish village wrote to the Ombudsman complaining that he had been ill-treated by the police, simply because he was a foreigner. The Ombudsman immediately wrote to the Chief of Police in the district asking him to send a record of the case. There was nothing in tthe record to show that the foreigners complaint was justified and the Chief of Police strongly denied the accusation. It was impossible for the Ombudsman to take action, but when he received a similar complaint from another foreigner in the same village, he immediately sent one of his lawyers to investigate the matter. The lawyer ascertained that a policeman had indeed dealt roughly with foreigners on several occasions. The fact that the policeman was prejudiced against foreigners could not be recorded in the official files. It was only possible for the Ombudsman to find this out by sending one of his representatives to check the facts. The policeman in question was severely reprimanded and was informed that if any further complaints were lodged against him, he would be prosecuted. The Ombudsmans prompt action at once put an end to an unpleasant practice which might have gone unnoticed.

在过红绿灯的时候，我让妈妈停下来，趁红灯我想把裤子往上挽挽，刚弯下腰，突然传来了“砰”的一声巨响，我迅速抬起头就看到了惨烈的一幕，一位骑着电动车的阿姨被一辆汽车撞得飞出几米之外，虽然妈妈用手遮住了我的眼睛，但我依然看到满地的血混着雨水流了一地，时间仿佛停在了那一刻，所有的人都静止了，似乎雨也静止了，世界都感觉安静了下来，一个鲜活的生命就这样消失了没有任何预兆，几秒钟过后人群开始沸腾起来，交警、救护车很快赶来了，妈妈怕我受到惊吓迅速拉着我离开了现场，但那血腥的一幕早已印在我的脑海······

晚上我做了一个梦，梦见在大雨磅礴中，一个和我一般大小的孩子扑倒在那位阿姨的身上大声哭喊“妈妈、妈妈······”，它的眼泪和雨水混在一起，因为从今天开始她就变成一个孤儿了，在她的旁边是两位老人，他们瘫坐在地上，无声的哭泣，花白的头发在雨中显得格外凄凉，我想这就是所谓的白发人送黑发人吧，梦里我抑制不住哭泣，直到妈妈将我叫醒，我才知道这一切都是自己做的一个梦。

这虽然只是一个梦，但这样的梦却时刻在我们周围发生，一起交通事故将带给多少人伤痛，生命对于每一个人只有一次，为了自己、为了家人，我们都应该遵守交通规则。一个城市的文明和谐就是交通的文明和谐，为了我们自己幸福的家庭，为了创建一座文明和谐的城市，让我们从最小的“红灯停、绿灯行、黄灯停一停”做起吧。

食品安全一直倍受关注，因为我们的日常生活根本离不开食品。所有人都知道这一点，但又总一些人，让我们担心，我们的食品是否安全，是否卫生。

最近的孔雀石绿、苏丹红等这些是已经被“消灭”了还有红心鸭蛋等还没完全被解决的。不过就算它们现在已经给解决了，可是我们还要担心“它们”还会不会在不就的将来卷土重来呢?想到这里，我就不禁想到了在幕后不断“制造”这一些危害人生安全的食品的人。于是我就发出了这样的疑惑这些人是为了什么?我想还是为了一个字——钱，钱是魔鬼得意的诱饵。因为钱，这世界上发生过多少次的谋杀、抢劫和盗窃?谁能想到这么一张张的钱币，竟是想监狱和法庭输送罪犯的“供应商”?

也就是因为了钱产生了：人工合成甜味剂(糖精钠、甜蜜素)和防腐剂(苯甲酸钠、山梨酸钾)等食品添加剂的使用情况。因此，我十分的想些人明不明白，他们的“产品”危害了多少人?有许多的人因为吃了这些所谓的“卫生、安全食品”而上吐下泻乃至丢了性命的!

不过，我想，除了批评那些只知道赚钱而不顾及他们身体健康、安全的人以外，我们还要提高自己的防范意识!

如：苹果过于的`发亮说明苹果可能打过蜡。葡萄上的白斑过多可能就是农药使用过量。

这些说明，防御食品中人为的添加化学物质、有害物质有些是可是用肉眼或简单的方法检验出来的。

我们要关注食品安全，要为了我们的健康而努力，要为了我们的文明而努力。

星期二下午第二节课是阅读课，我没有借到想要看的书，只好拿出《小学公共安全教育》翻起来。没想到收获不小——懂得了很多安全知识。

从《小学公共安全教育》中我懂得了无论是在生活，学习文人，还是在娱乐，安全问题都是需要首先考虑的。生活中有太多太多这样那样的悲剧发生。一声恶作剧的叫喊，导致拥挤踩踏的事故的发生。一次不遵守交通规则的穿行，花季般的生命消失在车轮之下。一些看似很随意的行为，却酿成了不该发生的惨剧，让亲人痛心万分。一次，我亲眼目睹了一件不应该发生的悲剧，放学时，老师把同学送出了大门口，一位家长（奶奶）把一位已经送过路的学生又拽回去，正好一辆三轮车疾驶过来撞上，老奶奶当场丧命，那个学生也重伤。同学们面对这些我们难道不应该警醒吗？生活是美好的，充满了新奇、幸福、快乐。我们往往沉浸在幸福和快乐之中，却忘记了生活中潜在的危险。一旦危险降临，我们会惊慌失措，不能及时采取有效的措施。所以我们必须严格遵守交通规则，学好安全教育知识。
