寂静夜，油灯下。您飞针走线，细细地缝补着孩子们因顽皮弄破的衣裤。灯影下，依稀可见，苦难磨砺了本该白润、娇柔的双手，风雨雪霜使双手变得干枯、龟裂，岁月的沧桑刻满额头，银丝早发。你柔弱的肩膀担起我们姊妹的成长，无私的慈爱啊，如涓涓细流。怎能忘记，那年隆冬，体弱的我得了一场大病，午夜高烧不退，几近昏迷。您二话不说，备上爬犁，扯上被褥，紧紧包裹着我，和哥哥一起连夜用爬犁把我拉出深山、送入医院，一直守候七天七夜。朦胧中醒来，听到您深情的呼喊我的乳名，看到您喜极而涕的憔悴的面容。母亲啊，那一刻多想扑入您的怀抱，在您温暖的臂膀里尽情的撒娇，多想用我虚弱的小手擦干您面颊的泪珠，告诉您，儿子好了，又会您的肩膀上戏耍，在您的怀里呢喃。怎能忘记，在生命弥留的最后时刻，您因肝癌晚期折磨得骨瘦如柴，您望着膝下的众多儿女，后事安排得井井有条，清醒得完全不像一个病人。母亲啊，如果您泉下有知，应该安心了，您的勤俭、坚毅的品质已在儿子身上传承。

晨风里，槐树前，三三两两聚拢来乡里乡亲，男女老幼齐来欢送我这个村里考出来的到县城上重点高中的学生。大包小裹一大堆，生怕路上饿着、冻着。那一副副结实、朴实的肩膀，开山造田，围水修渠。生用肩挑，手搬修出这条走出大山的路。两鬓斑白的老村长手捧一包精心选出的家乡的五色石子，眼含热泪，不住地叮咛不要忘记大山，不要忘记家乡。那一刻，我再也不能抑制离别的伤感，哽咽地埋下头去，颤抖了单薄的肩膀，死劲儿地点着头，几步一回头，几里一瞭望，生怕忘记给我教诲的山里人，生怕忘记养育我的山水草木……

如今我已走进考场，我要用肩膀撑起我心中的天，心中的梦。我要用肩膀圆我父母的梦，圆生我养我大山的梦。
