The woods arose in folds, like drapery of awakened mountains, stately with a depth of awe, and memory of the tempests. Autumn’s mellow hand was upon them, as they owned already, touched with gold and red and olive, and their joy towards the sun was less to a bridegroom than a father.

Yet before the floating impress of the woods could clear it self, suddenly the gladsome light leaped over hill and valley, casting amber, blue, and purple, and a tint of rich red rose; according to the scene they lit on, and the curtain flung around; yet all alike dispelling fear and the cloven hoof of darkness, all on the wings of hope advancing, and proclaiming, “God is here!” then life and joy sprang reassured from every crouching hollow; every flower, and bud and bird had a fluttering sense of them; and all the flashing of God’s gaze merged into soft beneficence.

So, perhaps, shall break upon us that eternal morning, when crag and chasm shall be no more, neither hill and valley, nor great unvintaged ocean; but all things shall arise, and shine in the light of the Father’s countenance, because itself is risen.

我站在巍峨的狮卧山脚下，仰头朝山顶望去，哇塞!山高耸入云，让人一看就心惊胆战，我爬得上去吗?山路崎岖不平，才上到半山腰，我已累得气喘吁吁了，大汗淋淋的我想打退堂鼓。再回头往下一看，路实在太陡了，如果一不小心脚一滑的话，就有可能会像皮球一样“咕噜噜――咕噜噜”滚到山脚去。

我正准备先行原路返回，一位挑山泉水的老爷爷路过我身旁，他塑料桶里的水看起来清冽而甘甜，他随手舀了一杯给我：“小朋友，你瞧瞧，再往前一段路就要到达山顶了，现在回去不可惜吗?”那位老爷爷虽然白发苍苍，还挑着那么重的水，依旧精神抖擞，脸不红，气不喘。他都能走，我就更不能认输了，我咬紧牙关，一鼓作气往上走。

过了一个高高的大斜坡，走过了一个弯弯的山冈，越过一片密密麻麻的树林，那高耸入云的山顶越来越近了。在一个陡坡前，我试了几次都觉得困难，又想放弃了。那位老爷爷在我背后中气十足地喊：“冲啊!山顶近在咫尺，只差一步之遥，不要退缩!”我顿时浑身充满力量，无所畏惧地往上爬。

终于，我顺利站在山顶上，俯瞰地面。城市在我的眼里，就跟一个精致的小人国一样，高楼大厦犹如一把把利剑直指苍穹，江水在城市中蜿蜒穿行而过。山顶茂密的树木，像一顶顶绿色的大伞，罩在我们的头上。微风拂过，树叶沙沙响动，在阳光下泛起绿色的波浪。老爷爷指着远方“瞧，多美的风景啊，要是你刚才不上来，错过了这风景，那就太可惜了，古人有云——‘站得高，看得远’哪!”我心情舒畅，大口大口地呼吸着新鲜的空气，所有的劳累仿佛一瞬间烟消云散!

虽然现在这件事已经过了很久，但我还是记得那位充满力量的老爷爷，他的话语时刻提醒着我——做事不要半途而废!

今天是星期六，天空虽然有点阴沉沉的，但是并没有下雨，而且还有点微微的风。爸爸说好久都没去爬山了，要带我去爬栲栳山。我高兴极了，等妈妈给我们准备完了水和一些水果零食后就迫不及待地出发了。

大概过了二十多分钟，我们的车终于开到了山脚下。

沿着一条弯弯曲曲的小路，我们踏上了“旅途”。走着走着，爸爸找到了两根可以当拐杖的竹子。我和爸爸拿着“拐杖”大步向前走。我们边走边欣赏着山路两旁美丽的风景，却在路边看见了好多垃圾。我感到很难过，爸爸安慰我说：“保护环境要从自己做起，只要我们自己做好了，也会慢慢影响我们身边的人。”我立刻明白了，拿出了随身带着的垃圾袋，和爸爸一边走，一边捡起了扔在地上的垃圾，做起了“环保小卫士”。

我费了九牛二虎之力，终于爬到了半山腰，我发现这边的温度比山脚要低，冻得我瑟瑟发抖。但奇怪的是虽然已是初冬，山路两旁仍然绿树成林，一片片落叶像一只只美丽的蝴蝶，翩翩起舞。忽然，我听见了小溪流水的声音，哗啦啦，哗啦啦，像一首美妙的乐曲，非常悦耳动听。我和爸爸就在小溪旁边的一块大石头上坐了下来，喝了点水，吃了些零食。

星期六早上，妈妈约我去爬营盘山。我非常开心，因为营盘山在我心里是一座神秘的山。

星期天的早晨，我和爸爸来到山脚下，我对爸爸说：“咱们来个爬山比赛吧!”

暑假的一天，我突然来了兴致，叫来表姐和我一起去爬山——登文笔峰。

我和姐姐稍作准备，就打车兴致勃勃地来到了文笔峰山脚下。

抬头向山顶望去，哇!山顶上有些模糊的文笔塔高高耸立着，面前通向山顶的石梯就像从天上挂下来似的。看得我心里就不由得害怕起来。我踮着脚尖想看清石梯的尽头，可怎么也看不到。我顿觉自己有些泄气了，担心自己娇小的身体怎么能登上山去。正在我犹豫时，姐姐大声说：“你发什么愣?快点来追我!”听到姐姐的喊声，我如梦方醒，一股莫名的力量涌上心头，我也不管三七二十一，拔腿就往石阶上跑。

记得九岁那年的一天，我跟着爸爸一起去爬千佛山，进了大门，我们沿着石阶前行，一路上，各种各样的花草树木在阳光下格外的美丽。一只灰色的小松鼠连蹦带跳的窜到一棵高大的老松树上，大大的尾巴可爱极了。这项强身健体的运动也是最深受大家欢迎的！来爬山的人非常多，简直是人山人海。道路两旁的罗汉雕像摆着各种各样的姿势，特别引人注目，时不时有游客上前与雕像合影。刚开始我一蹦一跳的踏过石阶兴奋极了，道路也比较平坦，随着往山上爬道路不平石阶也由于时间久远被踩的特别光滑，就像工匠师傅打磨过一样，我也像霜打的茄子没有刚开始的那股劲头了。来到到半山腰，道路越来越陡峭，山势也变得险峻起来，但是山上的景色格外的美丽，绿绿的的大树，还有新鲜的空气无时无刻不在吸引着我继续向山顶冲去。我抓住石阶两旁的护栏，一步一步慢慢的往上爬，爸爸也给我加油鼓气，同行的叔叔阿姨哥哥姐姐们被我一个一个超越过去，我们终于爬到了山顶。整个人像一株枯萎的小草，当我们站在山顶的凉亭内俯视瞭望山下时，眼前又豁然开朗，蔚蓝的天空下在阳光的照射下的城市格外的整洁美丽，看呀！远处的房子就像一只一只的小蚂蚁。我正陶醉在这美如画卷的美景中时，一不小心我的脚踏空了，脚很疼很疼的，坏了！脚踝扭到了。爸爸迅速来到我身边，蹲下看了看我受伤的脚踝对我说：“不要担心有爸爸在，我背你回家去。”爸爸蹲下身子让我慢慢的爬在他的身上，爸爸轻轻的起身背起我就往山下走去，俗话说的好：“上山容易，下山难。”下山的道路崎岖不平，虽然台阶的石头特别光滑，爸爸还是小心翼翼努力使自己的身体保持平衡，始终不愿意放我下来，不一会豆大的汗珠从爸爸的额头上滴落下来，爸爸用他那结实而有力的后背保护着你。回到家中还与妈妈一起无微不至的照顾我，在他们细心的照顾下，很快我的脚踝恢复了，我又可以蹦蹦跳跳的与爸爸一起去爬山了。

那次的爬山经历，使我明白了一个道理：“亲情是伟大的，无时无刻的围绕在我们的身边，只要我们用心去体会就会发现”。每次的爬山都是一次美好的成长经历，每次的爬山远动都能锻炼我的恒心，磨练我的耐性，培养我的意志力。

眼前这座山名唤花果山，它的最高峰玉女峰是江苏省的最高地。我今天的目标，便是想去峰顶体验一把“一览众山小”的快感。正当我心潮澎湃之际，已不知不觉入了山。

一进山，扑面而来的清凉使我醒了神儿，恍惚间，又觉着有万缕轻柔的绿丝牵引着我，让我想更加深入，去探索一个未知的世界。

山中的石径潮湿陡峭，须得一步一阶方能稳住身子。我便这样缓慢而平稳地踱向高处。愈行愈高，绿意也愈深沉。与山脚活泼俏皮的小树不同，山中的古树少了那份童稚的可爱，多了一份长者的沧桑，让我不禁肃然起敬，呼吸变得轻缓，脚步越发庄重，眼神是前所未有的肃穆与敬畏，仿佛在完成一个人的朝圣。

到山腰，开始有些疲惫。刚拿出橘子想抚慰一下可怜的肚子，却有两道火热的目光迫使我不得不注意。那是一只小猴子，直楞楞地盯着橘子，眼中满是渴望，那可怜巴巴的样子当真叫你不忍。我小心地递了一个过去，它就熟练地剥开皮，将果肉一瓣一瓣地送到嘴里。我正看得有趣，它突然向我伸出手勾了勾，像在讨食。我把空空如也的手一摊，它便飞也似地窜走了。我则怀着愉悦的心情继续我的旅程。

越近山顶，我越力不从心。有好几次甚至想放弃，但总是咬了牙坚持下去。到了山顶的那一刻，我几乎是一个踉跄跌坐下去。稍缓片刻，我再接再厉，手脚并用地爬上了最高的岩石。

我激动着，希望能感受前所未见的美景，可一低头，差点儿没把我气晕过去。底下一片雾海，还点缀着几堆垃圾。我很失望，想不到努力换来的却是这样的结果。

其实现在想想，人生亦是如此。你拼尽全力到达峰顶，不一定能看到你想要的美景，但你在登顶途中所感受到的愉悦是任何事物都无法比拟的，知道自己努力过、坚持过，就足够了。

下午，和煦的春风把我们送到了青云塔的下面。

我、外婆、姐姐和江博一路向山顶奔去，时而停下来摘花，偶尔停下来休息，休息时，会吃一些水果。一路上，有许多人跟我们一样，也是朝着青云塔进发，还有几批游客已经在下山。上去时，我异常兴奋，弯弯曲曲的山路，虽然很累但是一直坚持。到了塔里面，还顺便照了几张相片。外婆围着塔走，想找到以前姐姐和哥哥刻的名字，我想用叶子的汁水写我的名字，姐姐制止了我，说：“不要跟其他人一样，在文物上写名字，要做一个文明的孩子。”我听后感觉有点羞愧。

下山时，外婆显得十分活力。我轻轻松松地跑下山，和江博追上外婆，跑到山脚下放车的地方，想藏起来吓吓外婆和姐姐。可是，姐姐发现了江博，识破了我们的“阴谋”。因此，我们没有成功骗到她们。回家时，我还带了映山红回去呢！

我是第一次爬山，知道了爬山的艰苦。这使我懂得了一个道理：不管有多么地艰苦，只要坚持不懈，就能成功。
