During last summer vacation, I paid a visit to my uncle’s. It was the first time I had seen the sea. Tow years ago my uncle, a closed friend of my father, transferred from Shanxi to Yantai, a beautiful port city; and then my aunt joined him a couple months later. And a year later I became their guest and was going to stay with them for a week. I was fascinated by the vastness of the sea, the clean and soft sand on the beach, the seagulls flying in the sky and the beauty of the golden sunset clouds over the dark blue water. But I missed the sunrise each day, for I couldn’t get up early enough.

On the fifth day, the alarm clock woke me up when it was still dark outside, I hurried to the beach and stood in the cool breeze there, the sky was turning grey little by little, the sea was calm and all was so quiet that I felt I was surrounded by mysteries, then suddenly, in the faraway horizon, golden beans of light were shooting up into the sky. A moment later, a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. At last the entire sun lay on the horizon, so big and so red, it looked like a huge ripe orange or a tender half-boiled yolk. It hesitated and shivered a moment, then said goodbye to the sea and rose into the air. The scene was very beautiful, touching and magnificent which I’ll never forget.

parent raised his six children in Spokane, Washington. She was inspired by Anna

Jarviss efforts to establish Mothers Day. Although she initially suggested

June 5, the anniversary of her fathers death, she did not provide the

organizers with enough time to make arrangements, and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on

June 19, 1910, in Spokane.

Unofficial support from such figures as William Jennings Bryan was

immediate and widespread. President Woodrow Wilson was personally feted by his

family in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge recommended it as a national holiday

in 1924. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson made Fathers Day a holiday to be

celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The holiday was not officially

recognized until 1972, during the presidency of Richard Nixon.

In last years eleven holiday, our family went to Lanzhou and Xining to travel. That afternoon, Dad suddenly told us to travel, we promised.

Our first goal is Lanzhou, and we dont know the road at high speed. It was dark. We went all the way in the mountain road. Finally, we arrived in Lanzhou. 我们上车继续往前走，很快就来到了龙翔山景区。一进入景区，就看到一道道从山上飞泻而下的瀑布。让人感觉好像进入仙境一样，我们纷纷在瀑布前留影。接下来，我们进入了中国民俗婚庆博物馆。一进门，就看见一个喜庆的大花轿。博物馆里面都是明清时候婚礼使用的物品。有的还真是文物。里面有八仙桌、千工床、罗汉床等各种古代的物品，看得我们眼花缭乱。走出婚庆博物馆，我们向山上奔去，据说山上有一大片芦苇荡。山很高，山路很崎岖，让人感觉很累。好几次我都不想走了，最终我还是坚持来到了芦苇荡。只见这里有一大片白花花的芦苇，好像白浪翻滚的大海，十分漂亮。我们都一个个往芦苇丛里钻，玩得不亦乐乎。

走出芦苇荡我们踏上会觉得路，这次龙翔山爬山行真是令人记忆犹新。

Its my honour to get the chance to write to you. "Approachable" is my first impression of you, because you always keeps smiling. Students may fear the teachers that are serious both in and out of class. Smile makes a teacher popular with his students, you are a teacher of this very kind.

You always arrive at the classroom ahead of any of the students, from which we could imply that you are a diligent man with regular habit. Before the class, you like to talk to us, at this very time, you are more a friend than a teacher. To be honest, I was surprised in the first class when I learned a teacher at your age could speak English in such a fluent way.(I didnt mean you are old, youre young at heart.) Moreover, you know well how to keep your class attractive. Youve got such an active mind that you can keep talking during the whole class without a pause. I always appreciated your ideas and enjoyed listening to you. In your class, I learned not only the writing skills but also the presentation skills as well as much knowledge of other areas. Thanks for your excellent teaching.

Ive got some suggestions for you. It seems that we students have got few chances to participate in discussion during the class time. Most of the time, we are listening. Seldom did we express our own ideas. I suggest that teachers should interact with students more frequently in the class. Besides, Id like to practice writing more, so would you please leave us more assignments?

下山时，外婆显得十分活力。我轻轻松松地跑下山，和江博追上外婆，跑到山脚下放车的地方，想藏起来吓吓外婆和姐姐。可是，姐姐发现了江博，识破了我们的“阴谋”。因此，我们没有成功骗到她们。回家时，我还带了映山红回去呢！

在上个星期日，我和爸爸、妈妈一起去忘忧谷爬山。

来到忘忧谷，人山人海。这里非常漂亮，空气也清新。在不经意中，我们来到了一座山的面前，山的前面有一个大石头，上面刻着“忘忧谷”三个字。

我们要从山的正面爬上去。“呀！好高呀，早知道这样，我就不来了，哎！”我抱怨着。可是，我也只能不情愿地和爸爸妈妈爬了上去。爬了一段路，我大口喘气，看着别人用木棒拄着走。心想，这样会更加轻松一点吧。爸爸似乎已经看透了我的心思，随手为我找了一根木棒，我接了过来，借助木棒再爬。

不一会儿，我就再次发现爬山比我想的更折磨人，看着那望不到头的台阶，心里想着：哎，爬山太累了，我下次再也不来了。我想放弃，爸爸鼓励我：“坚持到底就是胜利。”看着大家一步一个脚印，我也鼓起了勇气。对，我不能退缩，应该迎难而上！于是，我走几步歇一下，紧跟在爸爸妈妈后面。居然找到了爬山的乐趣。

来到了半山腰，我想一鼓作气，直达山顶，连爸妈让我休息的劝告，我都不听了。我们又走了一会儿，腿有点儿不听使唤，汗像断了线的珠子往下落，口有些发干了。此时，我看见了山顶，我朝着爸爸妈妈喊着：“到了，到了，快一点呀！”

我们来到了山顶上，山风抚摸着我的脸，小草向我点头，一览众山小的感觉真好。

这一次去爬山，虽辛苦却特别开心。我发现：一个人只要有一个目标，并向着这个目标坚持不懈地前进，就可以取得很大的成功！

今天，晴空万里，我和爸爸妈妈去爬高阳山，这可是陕州最有名的山了。相传，西汉末年王莽在此落脚，刘秀也在此躲过一劫。能到此一游，我真是太高兴了！

经过半个小时的车程，我们来到了高阳山脚下。映入眼帘的是“神汤山庄”四个字，再往上望去是让人发狂的石阶路，那似乎是从天上挂下来的。我滴个乖乖，这是让我上天么？我还没开始爬山，心里就打起退堂鼓了。爸爸似乎看穿了我的心思，说道：“不要怕，有的东西看着难，其实很简单，老爸我陪你上！”经过59个台阶，我们来到了“莲花寺”，在寺门口我看见“花”的古体字原来不是草字头而是两个山，真是长见识了。

接下来是最难爬的地方了，它是通向“天门”的最危险也是最多台阶的一层。这里的台阶又窄又陡，一个台阶竟放不下一只脚，它们形成的坡几乎到了90度，难爬得要命，我心里有点发颤。爸爸告诉我要用“之”字形侧身走法保持平稳。我们艰难地爬，一回头吓死人，稍有不慎就有跌落的危险。十五分钟后，我们终于爬上这一层要人命的石阶。我一屁股坐在地上，大口大口地喘气……

又过了五层，大约240级台阶，我们到了“天门”。向下望去，将整个陕州城尽收眼底。远处的铁路桥看起来也不再高不可攀，就像一条直线从黄河上掠过。忽然一趟“和谐号”经过，就像划过了一道流星。山脚下的汽车和行人也变得很小很小，真让我有一种“会当凌绝顶，一览众山小”的感觉。再向上，有一个观景台，汽车也能到，我们稍作休整便向山顶进发，可是越接近终点就越觉得困难。“思乡阁”近在眼前，我卯足了劲，终于爬上了山顶。

站在山顶，远眺黄河，不一样的视角，不一样的感觉。虽然很累，但它值得去努力实现，因为：世上无难事，只要肯攀登！

今天我和妈妈一起去爬山，阳光明媚。

在山脚下，我们发现了一片枫叶，那片枫叶像火一样红。我望了望四周，发现四周都没有枫叶。于是，我这片枫叶铺平，整整齐齐的放进了我的包里。准备把它带回家晒干，做书签。

又爬了一段路，我发现那有一片清澈见底的池塘，那养了五到六条的鱼。我急忙走过去照了照我自己。我才刚露出半个脑袋，鱼儿们就吓得四处逃了。我急忙把脑袋缩了回来，过了一会儿，我又把脑袋探出去，本来它们在快乐的游，这不又被我吓回去了吗！

爬到一半山腰的时候，那里竟有一棵高大挺拔的枫树，我在想：如果那一片枫叶是从这来的，那为什么只有一片在那里？如果不是，那这片枫叶又从哪来呢？

因为想的太专心，就连妈妈叫我，我都没听见。她叫我继续往上爬。

爬到了山顶，那里有一座高大的建筑，有三四层楼，可是里面除了楼梯和门，其他什么都没有，我扫兴地走了出来，发现了门口有两座狮子雕像。

没想到，一次爬山就有这么多的发现，那么我以后要多出去玩，多发现点新东西。

As an engineering student majoring in environmental systems, I have strong awareness of the environment and want to work in the field of environmental protection. There are three feasible ways, in my opinion, which can raise public awareness of our surrounding environment. Firstly, the appropriate education in schools can be applied to build our concept on the importance of environment and it should be taken good care. Secondly, more and more green or environmental promotions should be carried out. For example, use public transportation more frequently instead of private vehicles; print double-sided instead of one-sided to save papers. Furthermore, researches on clean energy and sustainable development should be enhanced. The natural resources on earth is not infinite and we should seek for a better method to protect our circumstance in the long run.

爬到一半时，我的双腿开始发软了，也有点儿喘不过气来了。我望着前方一看，哇！还有这么多，要爬到什么时候啊！这时我看见妈妈也满头大汗，心想：妈妈肯定也累坏了，要不要我跟妈妈说我们原路返回吧！这时，妈妈看了看我，鼓励道：“爬山要有耐心，要一鼓作气爬到顶。”

在妈妈的鼓励下，我咬着牙继续往上爬。终于，爬到了山顶。此时此刻，我十分开心，好像成了全世界最了不起的人。妈妈也为我感到骄傲。

通过这次爬山，明白了一个道理。只要坚持不懈，努力去战胜困难，就一定会成功！

这是一次登山之旅，山路险峻，登山者是一群青年，山路上有绚烂的缤纷野花，登山者有的眩晕，他们流连于这里的美好，嗅着迷人的芬芳，驻下了脚步。

钟声起了!刺破拂晓的宁静，更振奋了攀登者的心，这一刻，斗志昂扬的人群里迸发出生命的力量，克服困难，猛力向前，不向艰难退缩，将汗水踏在脚下，渗进泥土里，散发出坚持的芳香，这恢弘的气势令整座高山为之汗颜!

若说血与泪通向成功所需要承受的，那样攀登者路上的荆棘更是完美的充当起了垫脚石的角色，尽管他会叫你非常痛，然而痛过之后是感激，少年不知长河万里天，却不知山外有山，天外有天，随便的放弃了当初坚持的。

仰于高山之巅，享受这一片刻的安逸，渺瀚的天空上是如血的夕阳，访如涅槃的凤凰，在欲火中重生，需要要经受撕心的痛，而克服这种疼痛的唯一办法，就是克服重重困难，超越灵魂本身。

仰于高山之巅，铭血泪之史，奠成功之石，以迅雷之势勇猛的刺破苍穹，划出赞与歌的悲壮，在嗜血的芬芳中通过艰难险阻，步于青云壮志，为生命燃起夺目的明灯，照亮前行的路，奋发向上，不及掩耳地颂这生活之诗。

生活是一段无止境的旅程，如飓风起于青萍之末，需要经历千百种困难，并为之坚持，泅渡成功这条河流，蜿蜒成生命的高度，劳步身遂先事，担当己任，在生活的道路上奋力向前!
