妈妈早早就在说了，现在真叫春满人间啊，我们应该去爬山。我高兴地说：“好呀！”

一大早，我们一家就穿上运动服和运动鞋，拿着水，背起一个小书包，还带上球拍和一幅中国象棋。真是全副武装。

路上，我们看见稻田像一片绿色的海洋，鲜艳的野菊花在车窗外迅速掠过。路边的小草有的绿中带黄，有点半黄半绿，还有的全绿了。我还看见了一棵棵桃树，拖起一团团花瓣、像姑娘杨起的笑脸，粉红粉红，洋溢着青春的光彩。终于到我盼望已久的同山了。到了以后，我飞快地冲上了山。到了半山腰，奶奶累的不行了，但我和妈妈依然向山顶爬去，一大半的山被我爬完了，我也吃不消了，有气无力地走着，离山顶还有许多路，真是山路十八弯。我爬得满头大汗，头发都湿了，像刚刚洗完澡一样，衣服也和我的身体粘在一起了，走得我俩腿发酸。突然，妈妈提出休息一下，我说：“虽然我满头大汗，但是我不能放弃呀！”我们问了一个已经下来的行人，说：“叔叔，现在离山顶还有几米啊？”叔叔回答说：“还有一段路。”我继续往上爬，听见小鸟在叫，看见银杏树的叶子像一把把小扇子，又像一只只美丽的蝴蝶，静静地在枝头休息。妈妈说：“银杏树春天，叶子嫩绿，夏天叶子肥美，到了秋天，银杏的叶子颜色可多了！”我不由的赞叹到：“好美啊！”

我终于爬到山顶上了，我在井里打了水，洗了脸舒服多了。我说：“我们来打球吧！”我们便打起球。可是山顶风太大了，无法打球。一眼望去全个奉化尽收眼底，好漂亮啊！感受到了山顶的凉爽，真叫站得高看得远。

寒假的一天，趁着空闲，我和爸爸一起去面爬山。

我和爸爸爬的山叫做东谷湖。一进入景点，映入眼帘的是一个巨大的湖泊。水被阳光照射着，显得波光粼粼。水又被秋风吹动着，泛起一圈圈波纹，波纹碰到岸边的石壁，又弹了回来。

开始爬山啦!我们迈着大步，奋力地向峰顶爬去。我一会儿两格两格地往上跨，一会儿小跑着向前进……一路上，郁郁葱葱的树林，并看不出黄了多少。有时，几缕阳光透过树枝，照在身上，使人暖洋洋的，无比舒服;有时，密密麻麻的树枝把阳光遮得无影无踪，一阵寒风吹来，阴森森的，怪吓人的……

不一会儿，我们爬到了山顶。这时，树木好像是位魔术师，向我们变了个“魔术”，刚才还郁郁葱葱的树林一下子变黄了!一枚枚绿加黄的叶子像一只只彩色的、美丽的蝴蝶，从“蝴蝶树”上落下来，“飞”啊“飞”啊，落在了地上，静静地“看”老人们打太极，“听”中年人谈论各式各样的事，“看”小朋友们尽情的嬉戏玩耍……树上不但叶子黄了，还结出了五颜六色的、不知名的果实呢!有红色的，有黄色的，有白色的，还有绿色的……它们像一张张可爱的脸蛋，对着人们笑啊笑啊……

在山顶上游览了一遍，我们便下山了。下山时，一阵阵秋风迎面扑来，吹在身上，使人心旷神怡，十分惬意。下山十分轻松，不一会儿我们便有回到湖边，开开心心地回家了。

寒假的这次爬山让我体验到了一览众山小的感觉。

I got up early this morning and had breakfast quickly. Then my mother and I

took the bus to my grandmother`s home. My grandmother was glad to see me again.

She gave me candies and a cup of milk. She was really kind to me. At noon, we

had lunch, There were lofts of people. After that, I talked with my grandmother.

但是我不会向这小小的恐惧而打倒的，我奋跑到底终于经过了半个小时的长征到达了山顶。我坐下来大口大口的喘气，我弟也陆续跟了上来。我们买了香，蜡烛等东西准备去拜菩萨。到了庙里人可真多啊！我们一个一个的把菩萨给拜了过去：其中有龙王代表风调雨顺，财神代表今年会发财……空气中弥漫着香的味道，和碎纸屑。最让我深刻的是千人坑了。在公元前一二二年这里曾经打过一场仗，虽然他们守住了可却有千人死亡，他们就埋在了山顶的下面。随后我们离开了寺庙，来到了一个花园里。那里种着许多的花，可惜的是那里的花都因为一场大雪而冻死了，今年的春天在也看不到他们开花的样子了。

我们走了一天了也累了便开始下山。下山的路更加抖啊，一不小心就有可能掉了下去。我们经过努力爬下了山。我们坐上车，到了家后马上躺在沙发上揉揉大腿，休息了。

前天，我和妈妈一起去爬一线天，一到那鸟语花香的山脚，我看见：一线天这个地方的雾太多了，什么一线天呀，明明是一线云呀!开始走时，我脚步很轻快，像脚踏祥云。可是，不一会儿脚步慢了下去，脚就像灌了铅一样，走不了多远。最后，几乎再也走不动了，可是，那神秘的一线天在诱惑着我，给了我勇气，给了我力量。

一线天 这里的云太多了让人一看就头晕。我向后看只见后面一片白茫茫的，这一看不要紧，这一看吓得我脚发软，似乎站在云端，害的我一步也走不动了，可我还是硬着头皮走了上去。

一线天这个地方的石头很平， 几乎是人工加工过的，上方的那个白色的一字一定是白色的雾造成的。

在云雾中，一线天变的更神秘了。时而像威严的神仙，时而像一位翩翩起舞的仙女，有时像一位过江的白衣使者。

过了一线天，我早已累趴下了，四肢僵硬，几乎走不动了，我开心的看着那一线天，心想：一线天被我征服了!一线天好美呀，我以后要常来这里。

Santa, you are a magical person. Although I have never seen you, I can

imagine what you look like. On December 24, you ride in a sleigh pulled by 12

I also have a Christmas wish this year. I want Avang and Darky back to me.

Awan is a dog that my grandfather picked up. Awan was no ordinary dog. It has

the blood of the Wolf, so it is a Wolf dog. Not long after, Awang became

pregnant and gave birth to The paparazzi, Xiao Hei. As a mother, Awang loves her

son, Xiao Hei, very much. I also very painful small black, a little bump all

dont let, more wont let others bully it.

When Xiao Hei was nearly five years old, my grandfather suddenly had a

stroke and was unable to take care of himself in the hospital bed. Little Hei

was afraid of thunder since he was a child. The other day I went to see grandpa

in the hospital. It was thundering and thundering outside. Grandma was at my

sisters house, and I was afraid to walk home alone. So I was in the hospital

waiting for my mother to pick me up and go home with me. But mom cant come to

pick me up because of something.

So as soon as I clenched my teeth, I rushed into the heavy rain alone. The

rain was so heavy that I ran all the way. In the haze, I saw two moving black

dots running towards me. Im so happy. It must be Avang and Heiie to greet me

when I go home. But I was so happy that I forgot the red light ahead and rushed

out. Suddenly, Awan ran up to me and shielded me from the oncoming impact of the

car.

The owner of the car to see, the original hit is a dog, did not say what

drove away. I am very helpless, very want to find him desperately. But Avangs

life is more important. Thinking of this, I immediately picked up Awan and ran

to the pet hospital.

The doctor said, "No more surgery. Its almost hopeless." Hearing this, I

burst into tears. The doctor saw that I was too sad and suggested putting Awan

to death. I had to say yes. I didnt want Him to suffer as much as he did before

he died.

在小黑快五岁的时候，我的爷爷突然得了中风，躺在病床上不能自理。小黑从小就怕打雷。那天我去医院看望爷爷。外面雷电交加，风雨大作。当时奶奶在妹妹家，我一个人又不敢走回家。所以我在医院等妈妈过来接我一起回家。可是妈妈临时有事不能来接我了。

所以一咬牙我就一个人冲进了大雨中。雨太大了，我一路飞奔。朦胧中，我看到两个移动的黑点在朝我跑过来。我很开心，肯定是阿旺和小黑来迎接我回家。可是我太高兴了，忘了前面是红灯，冲了出去。说时迟那时快，阿旺跑到我面前替我挡住了汽车迎面而来的撞击。

车主下车一看，原来撞到的是条狗，没说什么就驱车离开了。我非常无奈，很想找他拼命。可是阿旺的命更重要。想到这，我立马抱起阿旺跑到宠物医院。

医生说“不用做手术了，基本上没救了。”听到这，我不由自主地放声大哭。医生看我实在太伤心，建议给阿旺安乐死。我只能忍痛答应，我不想让阿旺临死前那么痛苦。

圣诞老人，你能再让我看一眼小黑和阿旺吗?你能帮我实现这个愿望吗?

秋风飒飒，天气晴朗，今天真是一个爬山的好日子啊！我们一家人来到了，大雁山森林公园，准备爬上山顶。

这座山真高啊！高得直插入云霄！山路也很陡峭，似乎每走一步都让人心惊胆颤。

哇，还要爬上这么高的山峰，肯定要累死人了！还没出发我的脚已经吓软了，心里已经咚咚地打起了退堂鼓。爸爸似乎看透了我的心思，就将我一军道：“你不会不敢了吧？”“谁不敢！”我用铿锵有力的语气，回答爸爸。

到了半山腰的时候，我已经累得气喘吁吁了，汗流浃背了，脚沉得抬不起来。我坐在亭子里，想到，我是男子汉，不能轻言放弃，更何况“有志者事竟成”嘛！我这么想着，腿脚已经充满了无穷无尽的力量。我和爸爸妈妈要勇往直前了。

我手扶着栏杆，一步一步的向前走去。我回头一看，爸爸妈妈还在后面呢。他们似乎每走一步都用尽了全身的力量，我跑回去，扶着他们一步一步的向前走去。

来到了陡峭的地方，我们手脚并用地爬过去了。

我的手脚已经起泡泡了。一次次想要放弃，可是爬了这么高了，不能半途而废，要坚持不懈，才能成功，山顶的美景和成功在向我招手，我又继续向前走。

经历千辛万苦后，我终于爬到了山顶，站在山顶看到的风景，可真漂亮啊！回想起刚才的经历，使我感到自豪。我明白了：做事不能半途而废，要坚持不懈才能成功的道理。

Thank you for taking the time to write your wonderful letter in support of MCEA (Maywood Chinese Education Association). Your letter clearly articulates all the major reasons children in Maywood will benefit from studying the Chinese language as part of their elementary school education. It provides invaluable support that will help making bilingual Chinese education a reality in Maywood public schools.

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. Nevertheless, MCEA, with more than 70 members, will continue to actively promote bilingual Chinese education in the Palo Alto public schools and will keep you apprised of the progress we make.
