“Mimi" likes to lie onthe floor in the sunshine. She feels;comfortable that way. She looks more lovely when doing that.

I like "Mimi" very much because the cat brings us a joy of the family.

可爱的小猫

几天前，妈妈将一只小猫带回家，我给它起了一个美丽的名字叫“咪咪”。

“咪咪”除了四足和鼻子是白的，其余都是黑的，看上去，好像在胸前打了一个白领结，你能想象出它是什么样了吗?

每天早上，它总是起得很早，然后跳到我的床上，把我叫醒，我们坐在桌前吃早餐时，它会从桌下轻轻爬到我们的膝盖上，好像在说：“我也想吃东西。”

“咪咪”喜欢躺在地板上晒太阳，它觉得很舒服。这样做时，它看起来更加可爱。

我非常喜欢“咪咪”，因为它给我们家带来了欢乐。

转眼间，春节悄悄地来到了我们身边，它把快乐带给我们的同时，也把热闹带给了我们。它是我最喜欢的一个节日。

大年三十这一天，我问爸爸妈妈：“为什么春节都是红色的呢？”爸爸回答道：“传说，古时候，有一只年兽每到过年的时候，便会下山来吃人。有一天，一个乞丐来到了村子里乞讨，村民给他一些吃的粮食。为了报答村民们，乞丐说：“你们不用害怕，对付年兽，我有办法！”说完，他就让村里人拿两张红色的纸，一块红布。把红纸贴在门上和床上，把红布披在身上。他不紧不慢地说道：“年兽害怕红色的东西，这样他就不敢靠近人类了！”果然，从此以后，年兽再也不敢到村子里来了。”关于过年贴春联、贴窗花、放炮仗等，还有这么一个有趣的传说呢！

我的家乡在山东。我们过年的时候有吃年夜饭、拜年、发红包、放爆竹和做饺子等习俗活动。其中，我最期待每年过年的时候做饺子了。我看着奶奶，先把一些面团拿擀面杖来擀成薄薄的饺子皮，然后用调羹舀上一大勺肉放上去，最后两只手一合一按，一只白白胖胖的漂亮的饺子就完成了！看着简单，做起来可难了。我试了好几次，不是肉太多，“撑”破了肚子，就是肉太少，变成了一只瘦子饺子，“站”都站不起来。在奶奶的耐心指导下，尝试了十次后，我终于做出了一只还算可以的饺子。年夜饭时，吃着热气腾腾的自己包的饺子，那味道别提有多美味了！

在这个喜气洋洋的春节里，我又长大了一岁。我爱春节。
