Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. If we trace the cause for haze weather,the main points are as follows,first,our countrys air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited,so you will see that current air appraisal system has defects. Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. 巡警跟着鸭妈妈来到下水道口，低头一看，呀!几只小鸭子正在下水道里逆流而上，为了帮助自己不掉入水管中，但他们可惜体力不支，也在逆流时慢慢地靠近水管。情况紧急，巡警伸手就去救几只小鸭子，这时鸭宝宝们体力透支得已要掉入水管。在这迅雷不及掩耳之时，巡警不顾水脏跳入了下水道，堵住了管口，救出了小鸭们。鸭妈妈十分感激，连忙让小鸭们表示感谢。谢完，鸭妈鸭宝又开始了长途旅行。

看着这个情景，我也不禁想到：地球属于这颗星球所有生命，动物与人类是地球共同的主人，我们应该和它们和谐相处。让我们从小做起，保护野生动物，关心野生动物，让更多人都能投入到保护野生动物的行动中来。

From June1, 2008, shops and supermarkets are forbidden from offering free plastic bags to customers, according to a new law. A nation-wide campaign against plastic bags has been launched.

Nowadays, Chinese people use up to three billion plastic bags a day. While being very convenient to shoppers, plastic bags also cause serious white pollution” and waste resources.

Though the ban may cause some inconvenience to shoppers, it can help reduce the use of plastic bags when people have to pay for them. Besides, the ban, in away, can promote public awareness of environmental protection.

So I think it necessary to forbid shops and supermarkets from offering free plastic bags. When shopping, we can use cloth bags or baskets instead of plastic bags as we used to.

national day plan

with the coming of national day, i have a one week holiday.

i really expect to it, because i want to have a short trip during these days.

i will travel tojiuzhaivalleywith my parents for three days.

i have heard that the scenery ofjiuzhaivalleyis very beautiful in autumn and it’s the best time to travel there.

autumn is my most favorite season so i want to enjoy the beauty of such a wonderful place.

i do some preparations for this trip.

for example, i search the internet to see the travel raiders and i have known where the most attracting place is and where to live in.

i am sure it will be a wonderful journey.

there are only several days for the coming trip, but i have been too excited to wait.

Dragon Boat Festival is a Chinese traditional festival. It falls on the

fifth day of May in the lunar calendar. A day before this festival, my mother

and grandmother began to make zongzi. Of course, I would act as assistant. But

it turned out that I was more of a hindrance than a help. When they finished,

they started to cook them. This process needed a long time, because I could have

them in the next day. Zongzi was very delicious. On the day of dragon boat

festival, our family prepared for dinner after having breakfast. Everyone of my

family will come back home for the solid diet. Chicken is indispensable on the

dinner desk in Chinese traditional festival. There were many delicious foods,

which made me watering. I ate lots of them. It is a wonderful festival.

I am a student in Huaxing Middle School. Do you know the plastic bags? Do you often use the plastic bags? I don’t like them. I think they use the wasting valuable oil their production. And they can’t decompose(分解) in a short time. The plastic bags will make our world worse. I agree with the rule, which people can’t get the free plastic bags in the shops, supermarkets. It encourages people to use their cloth bags and baskets. It’s good for our environment.

So I hope all the students in our class stop to use the plastic bags, and use our own cloth bags. I hope we can take care of our environment.

Let’s make our world more and more beautiful.

动物是人类的好朋友，但是人类却不懂得去爱护它们、保护它们。

生活在长白山上的东北虎10年前还有10只，现在却不足8只，因为长白山上环境被恶化，所以使东北虎面临灭绝;只生活在长江中下游的白鳍豚10年前还有20头，但2008年科学工作者在长江中下游勘察了一个星期却没有发现一头白鳍豚，如果这一项工作被证实的话，那么白鳍豚早在2008年就已经灭绝了，因为长江中下游的水环境被严重破坏，所以使白鳍豚面临灭绝;我国的国宝大熊猫现在已经不足20只了，大熊猫已经有几千年的历史，被称为‘活化石’!它具有很大的科学考察性。因为我国的大面积竹林被破坏，所以使大熊猫面临灭绝;可爱的羚羊，野生动物王国的跳跃健将和奔跑的佼佼者，却因为过度放牧，所以使羚羊只能嚼着干瘦的‘地衣’和面临灭;还有不会飞的水栖鸟—企鹅……难道我们就忍心看着这些可爱的动物们面临灭绝吗?

现在的人们为了钱可以不顾一切，‘钱乃身外之物’钱没有了可以再挣。但是动物灭绝了就再也没有了!为了我们人类请保护它们，为了我们的家园请保护它们，为了自然生态的平衡请保护它们!虽然我不是诗人，我不会用优美的语句去恳请人们保护动物们，但是我会用发自心腹的真心话去恳请人们去保护动物!我们已经经历过一次恐龙灭绝了，恐龙的灭绝使我国的研究受到了一定的阻碍。难道我们人类只有经历过所以动物的灭绝才会醒悟吗?

如果动物灭绝了，那么，接下来灭绝的就是人类!保护动物。

In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic.

People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be

involved in an acci dent. With the development of industry and population

expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages.

For ex ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many

main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more

crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines

should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be

greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people

wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the

two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus

lines in downtown.

Everyone has their own dreams.Dream is the start of success.When we have a

dream,the only thing we should to do is make it come ture.

I have a dream.My dream is to be a computer programmer,who can create

software or computer games.I like computer.When the first time I met computer,it

attracted me immediately.Of course,to be a good programmer is difficult,but I

think I can make it.

Now everything I do is close to my dream.I feel my life is fill with hope

and is colorful,and I have enough confidence to realize my dream.I’ll work hard

for my dreams,I will never give up.

Last Sunday my father and I went fishing along a river. We found the water so dirty that we could hardly catch fish in it.

A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed.

If the river water all over the country is polluted like this， no living things will exist in the water. As we all know， environmental pollution does great harm to living things and human beings. Now more and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. Our government is doing her best to take measures to fight against pollution. We expect that the water in every river will be made cleaner and cleaner before long.

上个星期日我和爸爸一起去钓鱼。我们发现水太脏了，我们几乎不能在它的鱼。

沿着这条河的许多工厂总是把废水和垃圾倒进河里，使河水受到污染。这样，河里的大部分鱼都被杀死了。

如果这个国家的河水都被污染了，水里就不存在生物。我们都知道，环境污染对生物和人类都有很大的危害。现在越来越多的人开始意识到这个问题有多严重。我国政府正在尽最大努力采取措施打击污染。我们期望在每一条河流中的水将在长时间内变得更清洁，更清洁。
