People in the city as well as those in other areas can enjoy a dog. Medium-size or small dogs are best suited for the confines of the city. Large dogs need considerable exercise over a large area.

Dogs are not always well thought of, however. In recent years dogs in the city have been in the center of controversy. Dogs have been with humans since prehistoric times. Over the years they have performed various services. They have pulled sleds over snowy tracts. They have delivered messages, herded sheep and cattle, and even rescued persons trapped in the snow. Dogs have served as a source of food, too. The ancient Romans are said to have prized certain kinds of dog stew. The Aztecs of ancient Mexico raised tiny dogs, thought to be the forebears of the chihuahua, to feed the large carnivores in the private zoos of the Aztec rulers. In the past dogs have even been worshiped as gods. Recently, they have been used in drug research, medical experimentation, and space science. Soviet scientists launched dogs into space to test the ability of mammals to survive the rigors of space travel before people were sent up.

Dogs are trained as guard dogs in peacetime by the United States Army and other military services. Because of their keen sense of smell, dogs are used by police at times to track down escaped prisoners. Law enforcement agencies also rely on the dogs acute sense of smell to uncover illegal drugs. And specially trained dogs serve as the "eyes" of the blind, guiding the steps of their sightless masters around obstacles and hazards.

狗是训练有素的警犬在和平时期的美国军队和其他军事服务。因为他们的敏锐的嗅觉,狗被警察有时用来追踪逃跑的囚犯。执法机构也依靠狗的敏锐的嗅觉发现非法毒品。和受过专门训练的狗充当盲人的“眼睛”,指导的步骤失明的主人在障碍和危害。

Im a middle school student. I’m upset these days because of my parents.

They pay too much attention to my study. I have to report my test results to them every time.

If I get good grades they will be happy and satisfied. But if not they will be worried about me, especially my mom. I never want to let her down, but she has made a plan for my future.

I am very disgusted with it. I dont know what to do. I know they really love me. I also know knowledge is important for everybody. However, I cant stand they are always making me study. Im really expected they can understand me.

我是一名初中生。因为我的父母，我最近很心烦。他们过于关注我的学习了。每次测验的结果我都要报告给他们。如果我取得好成绩，他们就会开心和满意。但如果没有，他们就会担心我，尤其是我妈妈。我从来都不想让她失望，但她已经为我的未来制定好计划了。我很讨厌这一点。我不知道怎么办才好。我知道他们是真心爱我的。我也知道知识的重要性。然而，我不能忍受他们总是让我去学习。我真的希望他们能够了解我。

[初中英语作文：我的烦恼

昨天放学时，天气非常炎热，我下楼没看见爷爷，就借同学手机打了个电话，然后我等了几分钟，爷爷就来了。

我上了车一边与爷爷闲聊，一边看着路边的风景。

突然我看到公路上有一个毛茸茸的小东西，是老鼠吗?怎么可能，怎么可能有这么大的老鼠，我又仔细看了看，这小东西正摇着它那蓬松的大尾巴，呀!是松鼠!太神奇了，居然在大马路上看见了松鼠。它好像要过马路似的左顾右盼的，好像不怕人，我们电瓶车走过，也没有引起它的恐慌。这时一辆路虎朝它飞驰而来，我心里一阵担忧，心跳顿时加快，仿佛有什么大事情要发生似的。一瞬间这辆路虎飞快超过我们，也穿过了这只松鼠，一声清脆的咔嚓声传入我的耳膜，是那样的惊天动地，我看着松鼠在半空中翻了几圈又啪的一声掉在路上，就一动也不动，一点生息也没有了。顿时一种莫名的悲伤涌上了我的心头。为一个鲜活的生命逝去而痛心。

也许这个司机是无意的，没有看见松鼠。也许这只松鼠太相信人类了，认为大家都喜欢它，不会伤害它。可以惨剧确确实实在我眼前发生了，难道不能引起我们思考吗?

在我国青藏高原可可西里这个无人区里生活着许多藏羚羊，在修建天路时怕火车影响藏羚羊的迁徙，设计者们想出了在那里架设铁路桥，这样火车在上面过，藏羚羊从下面迁徙，人与自然在这里完美可以结合。这是保护稀有动物的极好例子啊!

在澳大利亚生活着许许多多的动物，动物在马路上走对于这里的人们不足为奇，司机们开车遇到动物还要主动给它们让路。这在当地是人们自觉的行为，体现了他们的爱心，所以在澳洲这块土地上才会有那么多的动物与人和睦相处。他们的行为难道不值得我们仿效吗?

现在的环境越来越好，动物朋友们会随时和我们邂逅。对于那些不期而遇的朋友，我们除了惊喜，当然还要注意保护它们。我们司机朋友在路上，不仅要避让行人，也要避保护它们，这也是我们社会文明社会进步的表现。

I have many teachers now and I love them all,but my favorate teacher,I think she is my english teachter mis/miss gao.

She is tall and thin,in my eyes she is most beautiful teacher woman in the world,I love her sweet smile and attractive.SoI always feel free in her class.

I like her class very much,she often tell us interesting stories in her class,and she teaches us to play english games and english songs,too.since she become my english teacher,I have madel a lot of progess.
