Low-carbon Life

Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment，I always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides，I will try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights when I leave the classroom. I think it‘s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spend much money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment，I believe the earth will be a better place.

Some people have seen the sea, but others havent. The sea looks beautiful on a fine day. But it can be very rough when there is a strong wind. The sea is very large. There is more sea in the world than land. If you have swum in the sea, you know that the sea is salty. Do you know the Dead Sea? It is so salty that you cant sink when you are in the water. And fish cant live in it!

I have a big family. There are four people in my family: my mother, my

father, my younger brother and me. Oh, there is also a dog named Buddy lives

with us. My mother is a Chinese teacher, and my father is a lawyer. My little

brother and I go to the same school. On weekday, my father sends us to school;

while mother help us with our homework. My favorite thing is to play with our

dog, Buddy. If we have enough time, we will take him for a walk. I love my

family.

家庭趣事像五彩斑斓的梦，像清澈见底的溪水，使人留恋，使人向往。我的家里，爸爸幽默，妈妈风趣，我呢？调皮又机灵。在这样的家庭里，发生过不少趣事呢！

今年夏季的一个炎热的夜晚，我们家进行了歇后语大赛，我毛遂自荐当上了裁判。比赛的规则是：爸爸妈妈依次作出动作，另外一人根据动作猜，歇后语才对一个积一分，谁的分数多谁胜。

比赛开始了，妈妈先来做，她先把开水倒些在碗里，然后掂起脚，从厨柜上拿下几粒黄豆，扔进开水里。爸爸看了，做出捋胡子的动作，假装深沉地说：“此乃开水泡黄豆——有点自大也”。我和妈妈听了，全都捧腹大笑。

一轮爸爸赢了，妈妈这回也不甘落后，一幅胸有成竹的样子。可爸爸的题却把我们难住了。只见他指指家中的果汁，又把花露水抹在身上，还闭上眼晴闻了闻，长长地吸了一口气。我丈二和尚摸不着头脑，心想，这个倒难，转头向妈妈望去。妈妈也眉头紧锁，看来她也不知道。我急忙问爸爸：“到底是什么”？爸爸笑嘻嘻地回答道：“这个嘛——葡萄汁充花露水——不是那块香料！”爸爸肚子里竟有那么多歇后语，平时却深藏不露，我可真佩服他呀！

还没想完，妈妈就开始做了。她先盘腿坐在地毯上，手里仿佛抓了一串珠子，拨来拨去，嘴里还念了好几声“阿弥驼佛”，应该是菩萨啦。然后，她又用指尖点点自己的眼睛。我脑瓜一转，立马大张旗鼓地说：“啊，我知道了，一定是菩萨的眼睛——动不了！”妈妈对我点了点头。

最后，比赛结果出来了，7：4，爸爸胜出！真是“书到用时方觉少”，在这次歇后语大赛中，我竟只知道区区数题。看来，我真得在平时多看书，多积累，才能在需要的时候发挥作用。

家是幸福的港湾，在这小小的港湾里，其实有许多趣事。每一个家庭的趣事，都反映着时代的风貌，国家的兴旺。我能生活在这样一个和谐安定的新中国，是多么幸福呀！

Summer holidday is coming.I have a good plan for it.My best friend Tony who

is from Britain will spend the holiday with mw.Tom is 17 years old ,he like

China very much.One week ago,I wrote him a letter,inviting him to come to Dalian

for the holidays.Tony has accepted my invitation and will fly to Dalian next

week.I will go to the airport to pick him up.Then well show him around the

city.Well go to the beach to watch the sea first.Then well visit some

One day, I met a puppy on the road, it had a pair of bright eyes, like white snow, very cute, but it is always barking, and then it refers to the belly, I said to the dog : "You must be hungry!", The dog and barking, as if to say: "Yes."

I love clean thing, it sounds good for me. But the thing is that I cant bear the dirty environment around me, I am very picky about the environment. My favorite cartoon film is "Kung Fu Panda".Because its very funny and

interesting.The story was great and the background was beautiful, it really felt

like an ancient Chinese city.So many people like it.In this cartoon movie the

character who I most like is the panda Arab League valuable.Because it not only

unusual lovable and annoys the human to like, moreover is this cartoon movies

lead .But I did not deny that other roles also very much annoy the affection,

for example tigress (Angelina Jolie), viper (Lucy Liu), praying mantis (Seth

China is a developing country. Many years ago, I remembered seeing a lot of

news about criticizing how Chinese people copied the advanced technology of

developed countries. Nowadays, things have changed. There are some technologies

the most famous change. Alipay and Wechat are the most popular ways to pay bills

and they can be used almost everywhere. When foreigners come to China, they are

When I come to the middle school, I feel so excited, because I want to

stronger. If everything comes to me without hard working, then I won’t cherish

Chinese New Year starts with the new moon on the first day of the new year

and ends on the the full days later. In china,people regard Spring Festival as

the most important thing.People studied and worked throughout the year.No matter

how far and how busy, they must do their best to go back home.Thats a tradition

and now becoming a habit. During this time,transport is extremely busy.Although

the way is difficult,it cant reduce the urgent feeling of going home.I cant

children as a lunar new year gift.Usually,people stay up late or all night.

On lunar New Years Day, the Chinese family eat vegetarian dumplings which

imply they will plain and neat in this year. People change their new

clothes,this stands for a new beginning.Next,people visit relatives with some

gifts.The second day is son-in-laws festival,the husband and married women

visit their side of the family.In a word,Chinese attach great importance to

My hometown used to be a backwardplace, because it was deep in the mountains, where there were no nice buildingsand the roads were so narrow and dirty. People lived a poor life.
