我喜欢狗，因为它们是人类的好朋友。他们可以为我们做很多有用的事情，如，保护房子，问候客人，帮助警方等等。一些受过训练的狗甚至可以引导盲人、拯救人们的性命。所以他们都被当做是我们的家庭成员。我希望有一天狗能与人类和谐共处。

中国象棋，自古流行了许多年，关于中国象棋有多少年的历史，已不可考。象棋的起源有多种说法，一、起源于传说时代的神农氏。元代僧人念常在《佛祖历代通载》中说：“神农以日月星辰为象，唐相国牛僧孺用车、马、士、卒加炮代之为机矣”。

二、起源于传说时代的黄帝。北宋晃补之《广象戏格·序》说：“象戏兵戏也，黄帝之战，驱猛兽以为阵，象，兽之雄也。故戏兵以象戏名之。”

三、起源于周武王伐纣时。明代谢肇淛《五杂组》云：“象戏，相传为周武伐纣时作，即不然，亦战国兵家者之流，盖彼时重车战也。”

四、起源于战国之时。《潜确居类书》载：“雍门周谓孟尝君：‘足下燕居，则斗象棋，亦战国之事也。’盖战国用兵，故时人用战争之象为棋势也。”

五、起源于舜的时期，传说舜的同父异母的弟弟叫象，象为人懒惰，好玩耍，由他发明了象棋。

战国时期，已经有了关于象棋的正式记载，如：《楚辞招魂》中有"蓖蔽象棋，有六簿些；分曹并进，遒相迫些；成枭而牟，呼五白些。"。《说苑》载：雍门子周以琴见孟尝君，说："足下千乘之君也，……燕则斗象棋而舞郑女。"由此可见，远在战国时代，象棋已在贵族阶层中流行开来了。

在中国古代，象棋被列为士大夫们的修身之艺。现在则被视为是怡神益智的一种有益身心的活动。有着数以亿计的爱好者。它不仅能丰富文化生活，陶冶情操，更有助于开发智力，启迪思维，锻炼辨证分析能力和培养顽强的意志。

中国象棋历史悠久，它难易适中，基本规则简明易懂，古今中外男女老少皆宜，变化丰富细腻，棋盘棋子文字都体现了中国文化。
