首先，国外的教育能让学生学到更多的知识。众所周知，国内的大部分学生学习的目的都是为了能够进入一所稍微好点儿的大学。他们在学校学到的东西主要是为了 通过考试和获得高分。相反地，西方教育更注重锻炼学生的实际能力，这样一来，学生从实践中学到的知识比从书本上得到的知识更多。为了能得到更多的实践经 验，学生应该到国外读书。

其次，在国外学习过的学生会更加独立。学生在国外读书的时候，他们必须自己照顾自己，所有的事情都必须自己处理。因此，在国外他们要学会自己处理遇到的问题而不像在国内一样向父母求助。

总之，送学生到国外读书不仅能学到更多的知识，而且学生也会变得更加独立。

My favorite subject is English,because it is a useful and interesting language.With the 2010 World Expo drawing near, English is certain to be very useful then,as it can help us communicate with foreign guests.Now,in order to improve my English level,I read English 30 for minutes every day.. Also,at school, the teacher will help us to learn new words and explain the English text,and I always listen to my teacher carefully .Whats more, I often do adequent amounts of English exercises to improve my grammar.As the saying goes: no pains, no gains.
