Keeping a diary in English does a great deal of good to my English study. Keeping a diary can help you review all the English knowledge you have learned. The secret of success (The key to success) is not so much money as a strong will. A great man is one who has a strong will and an indomitable spirit. In other words, if a man does not have a strong will to win (get) the final victory, he will never succeed in his life. He is no more than a failure.

It is quite obvious that there is no difficult thing (nothing difficult) in the world. if you make up your mind to do it, you will certainly accomplish your end. That stands to reason.

四、Whale 鲸鱼

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that a whale swallowed Jonah.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said,“When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah.”

The teacher asked,“What if Jonah went to hell?”

The little girl replied,“Then you ask him.”
