大头猫拿起鱼竿准备钓鱼，这时却发现自己忘带鱼食了。它只好趴在地上挖蚯蚓，他挖呀挖，终于挖到了一条。他赶紧把这难得的鱼饵挂到鱼钩上，然后弯身在树下捡了一个小树杈，插到了草地里。接着它把鱼钩用力甩进河里，把鱼竿架在树杈上，就开始坐在草地上耐心的等待起来了。大头猫眼睛直勾勾的盯着水里的浮标，心想：鱼儿鱼儿快上钩吧，好让我给小熊送生日礼物呀!过了一会儿，只见浮标动了一下，大头猫激动的站起来，大声喊道："哈哈，这一定是条大鱼!"边说边举起胳膊迅速的把鱼竿拉了上来，他赶忙跑过去一看，竟然是只破草鞋!大头猫又生气又失望，正准备把破草鞋扔回水里时，突然破草鞋里跳出来一只又肥又大的鱼。大头猫兴奋地眼珠子都要蹦出来了。它边跳边喊："我真幸运啊!小熊见了这条大鱼一定会非常高兴的!"

大头猫带着鱼去了小熊家，小熊收下了大头猫的礼物，开心的说:"谢谢你大头猫，咱们今天就做红烧鱼吃吧!"

大头猫陪着它的朋友小熊度过了快乐的一天!
