说到白切鸡，人们会不由自主的想到一个城市——湛江。湛江人都爱吃鸡，白切鸡离不开我们的生活，但湛江人确实不知道湛江鸡在外地的名声是那么大。白切鸡讲究色香味俱全，再加上个“鲜”，味道不追求浓厚，但讲究吃后口有余香，还讲究口感，吃下去鲜嫩爽口。白切鸡最大的特点是讲究原汁原味，不做任何的加工改造。

在我们的眼中，白切鸡的做法十分简单。总结起来五个字：杀、煮、捞、倒味。首先选择本地鸡，杀掉。把内脏等物取出清洗干净；备锅，倒水，放鸡，加几滴香油，待慢火煮熟，十五分钟后将其捞起，此时的鸡已散发出一种独特的香味；最后配上酱油，放蒜头及香菜，一道正宗的湛江白切鸡就呈现在我们面前。

其实，我跟这只鸡的关系还真不一般！这要听我娓娓道来：

盼啊盼，终于到了晚上大家的“Party”终于开始了。饥肠辘辘的我们狼吞虎咽的吃着年夜饭，喝!年夜饭还真多，我都吃不下了!吃完年夜饭，我和姐姐拿着鞭炮冲了出去，拿出了“火绳”用老爸的打火机一烧，“火绳”就射出了五彩斑斓的光我把“火绳”甩起来“火绳”就像一个“火圈”一样好看极了!放完了“火绳”我们开始放“火树”了，我们用打火机点着了引线逐渐有一点点淡淡的火光的冒了出来，随着我们欢呼的声音火光逐渐减变大，渐渐地成了一棵树，我和姐姐就在旁边一边做动作一边喊：“高!高!高!”火光在树上跳动仿佛是小精灵在树上欢呼着、跳动着。终于放礼花了我，我们引燃了导线。99发的礼花像大炮一样陆续发送五彩缤纷好看极了!

在礼花的发射之下我们恋恋不舍结束了春节。

It usually comes in February, but sometimes it comes in January. A few days before Spring Festival we clean our house and sweep away all the bad luck. We always buy new clothes for Spring Festival. We buy lots of food, too. On the evening before Spring Festival, we have a big family dinner. We eat lots of traditional food, such as jiaozi— a kind of dumping.
