At home I often help my mother do the housework, such as tow the floor, wipe the table, help my mother to buy food. When my parents are out of work, I can also go to the canteen to eat.

我叫夏舜尧，今年八岁，上小学二年级。我有一张圆圆的脸，乌黑的大眼睛，大大的招风耳。我的头发又黑又亮，还有点卷。其实，我很想留长辫子，可是妈妈就是不让我留，我不同意，但也没办法，只好留了个短发。

妈妈告诉我，我的名字很有意义。因为夏朝是中国第一个朝代，尧帝和舜帝是中国最早的最善良的君主，爸爸妈妈给我取这个名字，是希望我将来大有作为。

我在班上是个好学生，每天的作业都能按时完成，做完后也能自己检查。上课时能积极发言，爱帮助同学，所以老师才选我当她的小助手。

在家里我经常帮妈妈干家务，比如拖地板、抹桌子，帮妈妈买菜。爸妈没下班的时候，我还能自己到食堂打饭吃呢。

I like holidays because I have enough time to relax. Last year, my

father and I went to Singapore by plane, there is a beautiful place, the four

seasons pleasant climate, there are many Chinese immigrants in Singapore, and

there are lots of Chinese food, like noodles, dumplings, rice, very delicious,

we shopping there, watching the scenery, and taste a lot of delicious food. It

was a very enjoyable

holiday.

我喜欢假期，因为我有足够的时间去放松。去年，我和爸爸坐飞机去了新加坡，那儿是个美丽的地方，四季气候宜人，新加坡有许多中国移民，而且那里有许多中国食物，比如面条，饺子，米饭，非常美味，我们在那里购物，观赏了美景，并且品尝了许多美味的食物。这真是一个令人愉快的假期。

I do not like teamwork in most time. Because I think it is hard for the

whole team to hold the same view. It is a waste of time to argue with each other

then make a compromise. But recently I have really seen the great power of

teamwork.

Last week we had a play competition. Because of some reasons, we had not

decided the play two days before the competition. Our monitor called the actors

and actresses who had been decided together. Then they think about every plot

together. To my surprise, it seemed that everybody had his or her good idea.

They gave up their weekend to practice the play. Finally our team won good marks

and were given the opportunity to participate in the final competition.

Teamwork is really powerful. No matter learning in school or working in the

future, we have to work in a team sometimes. So, try to establish the spirit of

teamwork. It will surely help you achieve success.

在大多数时间我不喜欢团队合作。因为我认为它是困难的为整个团队持有同样的观点。这是一个浪费时间争论然后互相妥协。但最近我真的见过伟大的团队合作的力量。

上周我们有一个玩的竞争。因为一些原因,我们没有决定竞争前的玩两天。我们的班长叫男女演员曾决定在一起。然后他们一起思考每一个情节。令我惊奇的是,似乎每个人都有他或她的好主意。他们放弃了周末练习。最后给出我们的团队赢得了好成绩,参加总决赛的机会。

We each have a best friend. My best friend, she will not speak. In school, of course, is my friend and I were like peas and carrots. But, in my opinion, good friends, some secret worries or to tell him/her, maybe he/she will feel very vexed, and it can reveal your secrets to others.

My for friends, she never like this. No matter whether anything unusual happened every day, I will tell her all my day of harvest. Talk with her, is my most happy thing. Who is she? Is not my classmate, not my mother. A friend of the silent -- diary.

我们每个人都有一个最好的朋友。我最好的朋友，她不会说话。当然，在学校里，我的朋友是和我形影不离的。可是，在我看来，再好不过的朋友，有些心事或秘密要告诉他/她，也许他/她会感到很烦，并且还会把你的秘密泄露给别人。

我的那为朋友，她从来不会这样。无论每天是否发生了什么不寻常的事，我都会向她倾诉我一天的收获。和她谈心，是我最快乐的事。她使我身心开朗。我可以把一天的收获、不满、兴奋等感受向她倾诉。我深信，她是这世上最好的听众。

在这周里，我要出许多张手抄报，只有一个晚上的时间。我因为害怕来不及出，便把这事告诉了她。

她，使我读懂自己。她的内心，就是由我的喜怒哀乐创造的。我成长的每一点一滴，她都会铭记在心。
