那是一个晴朗的星期天下午，我和爸爸在小区绿地散步。我看到一个水池里有冰，就拿起旁边的鹅卵石扔了起来。这时，爸爸喊：“小路，快过来，这里有一种奇怪的植物!”我急忙跑过去，看到爸爸手里拿着一片又细又长的叶子，像柳树的枝条那么长。我就说：“爸爸，给我玩一玩!”爸爸把叶子递给我，我专心地玩了起来。突然我的右手食指一阵剧痛，“哇”地大叫一声，鲜红的血流了出来，爸爸听到我的喊声，急忙跑了过来。他马上按住我的伤口，后悔地说：“哎呀!我忘了告诉你了，蒲苇叶的边上有刺，顺着摸不会划破，可倒着摸就会划破。”看到我又疼又紧张，爸爸又安慰我：“没关系儿子，不用怕!”说完，爸爸拿出手机，一边给妈妈打电话，一边拉着我急速回家。

刚到家门口，妈妈早就打开门等着我了。妈妈先把我的脏手小心翼翼地洗干净，再用棉球蘸了一些黄色药水，轻轻地涂在我的手指上，最后贴上邦迪，还不时问我：“紧吗?紧吗?”

那时，我才深深感受到了父母的爱。

Once there were three foxes, they worked together. They lived a happy life.

Little by little, the youngest fox became lazy, and often quarreled with the other foxes. The eldest had to leave, and the second fox was driven off, too.

The eldest fox opened a new hill again.

The second eldest fox dug a pool. Two of them because rich soon.

It happened that the cat met Mr. Fox in the woods. She thought, "He is intelligent and well experienced, and is highly regarded in the world," so she spoke to him in a friendly manner, "Good-day, my dear Mr. Fox. How is it going? How are you? How are you getting by in these hard times?"

The fox, filled with arrogance, examined the cat from head to feet, and for a long time did not know whether he should give an answer. At last he said, "Oh, you poor beard-licker, you speckled fool, you hungry mouse hunter, what are you thinking? Have you the nerve to ask how I am doing? What do you know? How many tricks do you understand?"

"I understand but one," answered the cat, modestly.

"What kind of a trick is it?" asked the fox.

"When the dogs are chasing me, I can jump into a tree and save myself."

"Is that all?" said the fox. "I am master of a hundred tricks, and in addition to that I have a sackful of cunning. I feel sorry for you. Come with me, and I will teach you how one escapes from the dogs."

Just then a hunter came by with four dogs. The cat jumped nimbly up a tree, and sat down at its top, where the branches and foliage completely hid her.

"Untie your sack, Mr. Fox, untie your sack," the cat shouted to him, but the dogs had already seized him, and were holding him fast.

"Oh, Mr. Fox," shouted the cat. "You and your hundred tricks are left in the lurch. If you been able to climb like I can, you would not have lost your life."

一只猫在森林里遇到一只狐狸，心想：“他又聪明，经验又丰富，挺受人尊重的。”於是它很友好地和狐狸打招呼：“日安，尊敬的狐狸先生，您好吗?这些日子挺艰难的，您过得怎么样?”

狐狸傲慢地将猫从头到脚地打量了一番，半天拿不定主意是不是该和它说话。最后它说：“哦，你这个倒霉的长着鬍子、满身花纹的傻瓜、饥肠辘辘地追赶老鼠的傢伙，你会啥?有甚么资格问我过得怎么样?你都学了点甚么本事?”

“我只有一种本领。”猫谦虚地说。

“甚么本领?”狐狸问。

“有人追我的时候，我会爬到树上去藏起来保护自己。”

“就这本事?”狐狸不屑地说，“我掌握了上百种本领，而且还有满口袋计谋。我真觉得你可怜，跟着我吧，我教你怎么从追捕中逃生。”

就在这时，猎人带着四条狗走近了。猫敏捷地窜到一棵树上，在树顶上蹲伏下来，茂密的树叶把它遮挡得严严实实。

“快打开你的计谋口袋，狐狸先生，快打开呀!”猫冲着狐狸喊道。可是猎狗已经将狐狸扑倒咬住了。“哎呀，狐狸先生，”猫喊道，“你的千百种本领就这么给扔掉了!假如你能像我一样爬树就不至於丢了性命了!”

A snake, having made his hole close to the door of a cottage, inflicted a sever bite on the cottagers little son. So the child died.

This caused much sorrow to his parents. The father decided to kill the snake. The next day, on its coming out of its hole for food, he took up his ax, but, making too much haste to hit the snake, missed its head, and cut off only the end of its tail.

After some time the cottager, lest the snake should also bite him, tried to make peace, and placed some bread and salt beside its hole, the snake, slightly hissing, said, "From now on there can be no peace between us; for whenever I see you I shall remember the loss of my tail, and whenever you see me you will be thinking of the death of your son."

No one truly forgets injuries in the presence of him who caused the injury.

有条蛇在一家农舍的门边打了个洞，并把主人的小孩咬了一口，孩子就一命呜呼。

这对夫妇痛不欲生。孩子的父亲决意弄死那条蛇。第二天，当蛇出洞觅食之时，他举起斧头就砍那条蛇。可惜太操之过急，没砍中蛇头，只砍断了尾巴。

过了一阵子，屋主很害怕那条蛇会以牙还牙，就想同蛇讲和，于是就将一些面包和盐放在洞口。那条蛇发出丝丝的声音作出回答：“从今以后，在我们之间不会有和平。因为我一看到你，就会想自己被砍掉的尾巴;同样当你见到我时， 你会想起你死去的儿子。”

面对伤害过自己的人，我们难以真正忘记有过的创痛。

高尔基曾经说过：“书是人类进步的阶梯。”的确是这样。从小到大，我也读过看过许多书，像《十万个为什么》、《格林童话》、《中华上下五千年》、《世界未解之谜》等。当我看到令人愉快的故事时，我会手舞足蹈；当我看到伤心的故事时，我会泪流满面；当我看到幽默的故事时，我会开怀大笑。

我爱书，因为它能增长知识；我爱书，因为它能陶冶情操；我爱书，因为它能让我领略到世界各地的无限风光：金字塔的辉煌，长城的雄伟壮观，桂林山水的清秀，凯旋门的宏伟……还让我懂得要有一颗爱国之心，懂得爱国，爱人民，孝敬父母，对待朋友，珍惜生命和友谊，做个诚实而正直的人……总之，书无奇不有，让我得到的益处真是太多太多了！

我天天在家里读书。吃饭读，睡觉读，就连上个厕所也要读。记得我上小学4年级时，发了许多新书，我对它特感兴趣。正看着看着，突然觉得肚子痛，没办法，只好去上厕所，手里还揣着刚发的语文书。正看得津津有味，爸爸就叫我洗脚。我边烫着脚边看着书，突然我一失手，完了完了！新发的语文书“扑通”一声——掉水里了。哎~我可怜的新书，这可怎么办哪？爸爸也挺生气，好好的书就这么毁了。还是凑和地用吧。后来，我又把我的湿书放进冰箱里晾着，过几个小时就会干了。

我不光爱看书，而且还爱惜书。每次只要买了或发了新书，我回到家就立即给它穿上漂亮新衣，目的就是为了保护它的身体。我看着这些令我爱不释手的书，心里别提有多高兴了！

书是生活中最好的调味酒，书是身边最忠实的朋友。我爱书胜过爱朋友，我从朋友那儿什么也没得到，而书却给我精神的慰藉；朋友会背叛我，书却永远忠实！

爱有很多种，比如：父母的爱，同学的爱，社会的爱……

先说父母的爱吧!一天晚上，我发着高烧，外面下着倾盆大雨，妈妈冒着大雨送我去医院，她的衣服淋湿了，我却安然无恙，那是因为她保护着我，为我遮挡风雨。我躺在她的怀里想：为什么医院忽然变得那么远……

那同学的爱又是怎样的呢?有一次，同学们正在上体育课，慢跑时，我被一个同学拌了一跤，同学们马上围到我身边，大家都急切的问我：“徐依诺，你没事吧?” “要不要去医务室啊?” “我扶你去吧!”……大家都争着关心我，帮助我，我感动得不知如何是好。虽然同学们只是那么一个小小的举动，但是，我感受到了同学之间的关爱。

还有学校当中的爱。一次，我们学校一位同学得了白血病，眼看这朵生命之花即将凋零了，学校举行了一次捐款活动，差不多凑足了她的医药费，使这朵生命之花又重新绽放了。

更多的是社会的爱。夏天的时候，许多高考生因为时间来不及而没有考上。这次，许多出租车司机为高考生免费接送，进行“一帮一”活动，所以这次考进好学校的比去年多。
