The Lunar New Year  a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fh and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year, each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year, almost everyone  dressed in h or her best. When people meet on the way, they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

孔子曰:“登泰山而小天下。”这句名言是孔子登完泰山有感而发。2018年端午节放假,爸爸妈妈带着我和弟弟一起去山东泰安爬泰山,去感受泰山之壮丽。这天,我们在宾馆放下行李就打车来到了泰山脚下。从泰山脚下抬头看,泰山好高啊!“出发了!”爸爸一声号令,我们四个人便开始了登山之旅。

泰山的石阶两旁全是高大挺拔的树,鸟儿的叫声布满了整个山间。石阶的旁边有一条清澈的小溪,溪水潺潺的声音如悦耳的交响乐在空中飘荡。小溪里有很多奇形怪状的大石头,有的像磨盘,有的像轮船,有的像飞碟,还有的像魔方,好是奇特。我和弟弟不时地跑过去站在石头上,摆着各种造型拍照片。一路上我们走走停停,说说笑笑,欣赏着美丽的风景。不一会儿,汗水就湿透了我的全身,爸爸妈妈在我和弟弟的后面也满头大汗。

经过了三个小时的努力攀爬,我们终于在中午时爬到了十八盘。十八盘由一千六百个台阶组成,非常陡峭,人们也叫它“天阶”,意思是通向天空的台阶。从天阶看远处的泰山,有许许多多的悬崖,远处看到有一座刻着字的悬崖,我和弟弟便加快了步伐,半小时过去了,我们看清楚了上面刻的字——“万丈崖”。为什么叫它“万丈崖”呢?看着铭牌的介绍,我才知道,原来这个悬崖看上去有一万丈高,是古代一位皇帝在上面刻的字。爸爸给我讲了好多关于泰山的历史,中国古代很多帝王都登泰山祭天,泰山是文化名山,是历代君王攀登最多的山。听着爸爸的讲解,踏着历史的脚步,我感受到了泰山的深厚文化。我们一步一步向前攀登,一会儿就到了海拔1300米处。这时,我看到了南天门,高高的门楼,很多游客在那里拍照留念,摆着各种姿势,庆祝自己是胜利者。我拉着弟弟也站在南天门前的台阶上看雄伟壮丽的山脉,壮美的江山美丽如画,远处的十八盘显得那么渺小。爸爸妈妈也很快来到了南天门最高的台阶上,我们一起眺望远方的山和来时的路,笑着呼喊:“泰山,我们来了!”

从南天门再往里走,路逐渐平缓,很快我们就来到了天街。这儿有很多商铺和饭店,琳琅满目的工艺品让我爱不释手,弟弟也挑选了自己喜欢的小玩具。在餐厅吃了饭,我们在泰山上继续寻找历史的足迹。泰山上有很多的石刻,文人墨客在这里抒写着对泰山的敬仰,也抒发着对祖国大好河山的喜爱之情。再往上爬我们就到达了玉皇顶,有一块石头上刻着四个字“五岳之首”,我们在这拍了许多照片。爬着爬着就到了海拔1900米处,到达了最顶端。远眺泰山,连绵的山脉下面是一马平川的齐鲁大地,真是登泰山而小天下啊!

夕阳西下,霞光染红了泰山,我们恋恋不舍地开始下山,泰山的壮丽深深地刻在了我的脑海里。“东岳泰山,五岳之首,我喜爱泰山,下次一定再来!”我心里默念道。

Lying at the center of Beijing, the Forbidden City, called Gu Gong, in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now known as the Palace Museum, it is to the north of Tiananmen Square. Rectangular in shape, it is the world‘s largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 buildings. The wall has a gate on each side. Opposite the Tiananmen Gate, to the north is the Gate of Devine Might (Shenwumen), which faces Jingshan Park. The distance between these two gates is 960 meters, while the distance between the gates in the east and west walls is 750 meters. There are unique and delicately structured towers on each of the four corners of the curtain wall. These afford views over both the palace and the city outside. The Forbidden City is divided into two parts. The southern section, or the Outer Court was where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation. The northern section, or the Inner Court was where he lived with his royal family. Until 1924 when the last emperor of China was driven from the Inner Court, fourteen emperors of the Ming dynasty and ten emperors of the Qing dynasty had reigned here. Having been the imperial palace for some five centuries, it houses numerous rare treasures and curiosities. Listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987, the Palace Museum is now one of the most popular tourist attractions world wide.

Construction of the palace complex began in 1407, the 5th year of the Yongle reign of the third emperor of the Ming dynasty. It was completed fourteen years later in 1420. It was said that a million workers including one hundred thousand artisans were driven into the long-term hard labor. Stone needed was quarried from Fangshan, a suburb of Beijing. It was said a well was dug every fifty meters along the road in order to pour water onto the road in winter to slide huge stones on ice into the city. Huge amounts of timber and other materials were freighted from faraway provinces. Ancient Chinese people displayed their very considerable skills in building the Forbidden City. Take the grand red city wall for example. It has an 8.6 meters wide base reducing to 6.66 meters wide at the top. The angular shape of the wall totally frustrates attempts to climb it. The bricks were made from white lime and glutinous rice while the cement is made from glutinous rice and egg whites. These incredible materials make the wall extraordinarily strong.

Since yellow is the symbol of the royal family, it is the dominant color in the Forbidden City. Roofs are built with yellow glazed tiles; decorations in the palace are painted yellow; even the bricks on the ground are made yellow by a special process. However, there is one exception. Wenyuange, the royal library, has a black roof. The reason is that it was believed black represented water then and could extinguish fire.

Nowadays, the Forbidden City, or the Palace Museum is open to tourists from home and abroad. Splendid painted decoration on these royal architectural wonders, the grand and deluxe halls, with their surprisingly magnificent treasures will certainly satisfy "modern civilians".

I am pleased to serve as your guide today。

This is the palace museum; also know as the Purple Forbidden City。 It is the largest and most well reserved imperial residence in China today。 Under Ming Emperor Yongle, construction began in 1406。 It took 14years to build the Forbidden City。 The first ruler who actually lived here was Ming Emperor Zhudi。 For five centuries thereafter, it continued to be the residence of23 successive emperors until 1911 when Qing Emperor Puyi was forced to abdicate the throne。 In 1987, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization recognized the Forbidden City was a world cultural legacy。

It is believed that the Palace Museum, or Zi Jin Cheng (Purple Forbidden City), got its name from astronomy folklore, The ancient astronomers divided the constellations into groups and centered them around the Ziwei Yuan (North Star) 。 The constellation containing the North Star was called the Constellation of Heavenly God and star itself was called the purple palace。 Because the emperor was supposedly the son of the heavenly gods, his central and dominant position would be further highlighted the use of the word purple in the name of his residence。 In folklore, the term “an eastern purple cloud is drifting” became a metaphor for auspicious events after a purple cloud was seen drifting eastward immediately before the arrival of an ancient philosopher, LaoZi, to the Hanghu Pass。 Here, purple is associated with auspicious developments。 The word jin (forbidden) is self-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-limits to ordinary people。

The red and yellow used on the palace walls and roofs are also symbolic。 Red represents happiness, good fortune and wealth。 Yellow is the color of the earth on the Loess Plateau, the original home of the Chinese people。 Yellow became an imperial color during the Tang dynasty, when only members of the royal family were allowed to wear it and use it in their architecture。

The Forbidden City is rectangular in shape。 It is 960 meters long from north to south and 750 meter wide from east west。 It has 9,900 rooms under a total roof area 150,000 square meters。 A 52-meter-wide-moat encircles a 9。 9-meter—high wall which encloses the complex。 Octagon —shaped turrets rest on the four corners of the wall。 There are four entrances into the city: the Meridian Gate to the south, the Shenwu Gate (Gate of Military Prowess) to the north, and the Xihua Gate (Gate of military Prowess) to the north, and the Xihua Gate (Western Flowery Gate ) to the west, the Donghua (Eastern Flowery Gate) to the east。

Manpower and materials throughout the country were used to build the Forbidden City。 A total of 230,000 artisans and one million laborers were employed。 Marble was quarried from fangshan Country Mount Pan in Jixian County in Hebei Province。 Granite was quarried in Quyang County in Hebei Province。 Paving blocks were fired in kilns in Suzhou in southern China。 Bricks and scarlet pigmentation used on the palatial walls came from linqing in Shandong Province。 Timber was cut, processed and hauled from the northwestern and southern regions。

The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; th day  called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Years Eve  known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year  the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year  itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year  a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year  considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (Tt), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year  also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year  not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service sues New Years themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It  also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper  a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by whing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition  a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wh peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

春节也是有许多习俗的,下面我给大家简单的介绍几种。

第一种:贴春联。这是春节必定要做的事。春联由上联、下联、横批三部分组成,对联上、下字数相同,横批均为四个字。如果你的脑袋够丰富,自己也可以创造噢!

第二种:贴福字。这就是个十分有趣的字。一般贴福字都是正这贴,而许多家都是倒这贴,据说这里隐藏的意思是“福倒了(福到了)”就这样,它也是重要的环节。

第三种,也是最重要的一种:吃饺子。这就是全家人都喜欢的事,光包饺子可不行,还要在饺子里放入特殊的东西,例如:硬币、花生、枣等。每种食材都蕴含不同的意思,也让家人在吃饺子的时候分享自己的喜悦!

中国各地都有各自的过节习俗,而我的老家,位于福建省漳州市云霄县,这里的春节与别的地方截然不同。

在云霄,春节期间忌讲不吉利的话,万一小孩无知,说了不吉利的话,要用纸巾拭嘴。同时忌吵嘴打骂和摔破碗碟,万一不小心打破碗盘,要将碎片收集起来放进石臼里,口中念“岁岁平安”,借“碎”与“岁”谐音来化凶为吉,保持祥和欢乐的气象。

正月初一子时新年开始,家家户户燃放鞭炮,称为“开正”,还要在门前备清茶、糖果,焚香,称为“拜正”。初一日人人早起,穿新衣服烧香点烛,祭拜天地祖先。小辈向长辈拜年,长辈随即赐以红包。

在“开正”的时候,家人都要吃点红糖线面汤。糖,意为甜蜜;线面,意为长寿,即祈求全家幸福长寿。

初一日不吃粥,以免往后出门遇雨;不往户外倒垃圾,忌“财气外泄”。此外还有不不讨债,不打骂孩子等禁忌。

春节,是人们心中最重要的节日,在我们东北,关于春节的讲究就不少。

每年过年我家都热热闹闹的,今年也不例外。大年三十那天,我早早的起了床,帮助爸爸妈妈和姐姐贴对联,挂福字。挂福字也有讲究,福字要倒了挂,这样就表示“福到了”。妈妈每当过年时都为我们做上一桌子的大餐,今年比往年更丰盛。每年妈妈都会做鱼,因为鱼可以表示“年年有余”,饭桌子上不仅要有鱼还要有猪蹄,猪蹄表示“有抓头”。

吃饭的时间到了,在这之前一定要放鞭炮,因为这样可以去除“怪兽”来年保平安。到了晚上,灯要一直点着,这样可以表示来年前程光明无阻。到了晚上要包饺子,在包的饺子里,只有一个放有硬币,吃到这个饺子的人,来年一切事都会顺顺利利的。到了半夜12点每家每户都要放鞭炮,因为12点后为新年,放鞭炮是喜庆新年,这个时间放鞭炮表示万象更新,大吉大利,也代表着辞旧迎新之意。

日落日升,斗转星移,回首往昔,历史为我们留下了太多的系念和玄想,而这“岁时礼俗”就是其中之一。比如,春节习俗成了我国最大的传统民俗节日。春节在古都更受到人们普遍重视,由此也形成了一套完整的春节习俗。农历的正月初一为春节,俗称“过年”。春节原起于殷商时期年头岁尾的祭神祭祖活动。古代的春节称:“元日”、“元旦”。辛亥革命后,才把正月初一正式定名为春节。

就北京地区来说,从腊月初八家家户户要泡腊八醋(蒜),就开始有了“年味”。民谣讲:“老太太别心烦,过了腊八就是年。腊八粥,喝几天?哩哩啦啦二十三……”,腊月二十三又称“小年”。有一首歌谣唱道:“糖瓜祭灶,新年来到,丫头要花,小子要炮……”。从这一天开始,北京人更加忙活了,要祭灶,扫房子,蒸馒头,置办年货,贴“福”字,贴年画,剪窗花,贴对联。贴门神,贴挂钱,一直忙活到除夕,开始过大年。

北京人总是把“福”倒着贴在门里、衣柜、水缸上,寓意着福到了。贴春联也有许多讲究,一般百姓家贴红色春联,门楣上贴“横批”,内廷、王公府第,一律用白宣纸镶红边;守制者(有父、母丧者)则要用蓝纸;庙宇用黄纸。春联最早始于五代时的后蜀。据说当年蜀太子在本宫门上提写“天垂余庆、地接长春。”八个大字,这就是中国最早的一副春联。北京人在屋内廷贴上“抬头见喜”,屋外贴上“出门见喜”,院内贴“全院生辉”等春条。

过去大多数老北京人家都供有佛龛或神像,到了年三十最讲究的要摆上九堂大供;有成堂的蜜供,成堂的套饼、花糕的面鲜,成堂的水果、成堂的干果、花糕大小八件,年糕年饭,素饺子(或蒸食),素炒菜(或炸食)。家境不好的也要摆三堂或五堂供品。北京人过年讲得就是吃喝玩乐,以吃为主。这些供品实际上也是为人准备的。

北京人除夕晚上的年夜饭(又称团圆饭)是必不可少的,也是全年最丰盛的一次晚餐。除夕的年嬉饭要荤素一起上。有冷荤、大件和清口菜。冷荤有冷炖猪、羊肉、冷炖鸡、鸭。大件有:红烧肉、扣肉、米粉肉、红白丸子,四喜丸子。清口菜一般都是豆腐、青菜、罗十、咸菜佛手等。主食多以荤素睡觉为主。

北京人除夕和正月初一都要吃饺子,取其“更岁交子之义“。还总是把饺子包成元宝形,在饺子中放进糖、铜钱、花生、枣、栗子等。如吃到糖的,意味着日后生活甜蜜;吃到铜钱意味着有钱花;吃到花生意味着长寿,因花生又名长生果,吃到枣和栗子的意味着早立子……

今年的春节更是没了“生命”,特别在于传统的风俗习惯,加之外出打工的老爸也没能回家团圆,更是有了一丝的凉意,门栏上的就春联,显得更加的凉了。

那昔日红红火火的春节气息,像似死掉了,没了红红的春联、高高的红灯笼、龙样式的剪纸、倒贴的“福”字……这年,这人,没了生机,朝气。但值得一提的是年夜饭这最基本的形式,还是没有丢掉!

这天,是腊月三十,今年的最后一天,起了个大早,呼吸着空气中略含的银杏叶的味道,那门前光秃秃的树,正在招摇着手臂,像是在诉说这春节的无趣。糊涂的吃过早饭,就开始年夜饭的准备,从土里刚拔的萝卜,还有刚制好的腊肉,再加上一条活鱼,弄好后也算丰盛了!

以往的年夜饭前有一个祭拜祖先的仪式,这时,要把所弄好的成品菜,加上一点白酒,一直大红蜡烛,三炷香,一打纸钱。完了以后,再点响红纸里包着的鞭炮,那声音,就似无数的孩子在述说他们对春节的欢喜;年夜饭后,大都由家中的男孩去祖先的坟前上坟,俗称“上亮”,而我就是其中的幸运儿,有了每一年与先辈们“交心”的机会,思量之,亦足也!压岁钱,是在所有父母安排下来的事都做完以后,一家人,围着红彤彤的火炉,在对孩子们的要求和应答后,才会得到那日思夜想的“礼物”。这礼物,有玩具枪、遥控赛车、布娃娃、游戏机,当然包括直接给钱的形式了。

回到今年,没了祭拜、没了贴春联、没了挂灯笼、没了家人团聚,简简单单的,就过了。这年,过得有点无聊不说,还没了春节的喜庆。在十二点的钟声响起以前,打个电话给女友,一起度过这年的最后一刻,但后来的我还是独自走过了2011,来到了2012,心里更加沉重、无趣。

初一,本是该穿新衣、戴新帽的,但和往常一样,就这样过了。本该在接下来的几天到亲戚家拜年的,但没去,本该出现舞花灯的团队的,但这盼望,却是没了尽头,也便罢去了,本该有舞狮子的、舞龙的,但年轻人的出门未归,也便没人能抬得起那高昂的狮子头了……

年,就这样归去了,日子,也在无意间溜走了。这时代化的城市,霓虹灯的诱惑,早已把我们机械化了。在我们的心中,是否还会有春节的一席之地?实则令人担忧啊。

5中华传统文化——春节

大年初一,男女老少穿戴一新,吃年糕和汤团,即希望“年年高、团团圆”的意思;大年初二开始,亲朋好友们相邀做客,即是“拜年”,有的是吃“年酒”。拜年时,首先要到最亲的长辈家里拜年,然后是平辈间互相拜年。长辈们都给我们小孩子发红包,我们可高兴啦!哦!我差点忘了告诉你们,过春节时,家家户户的房子里都要放两三根甘蔗,因为甘蔗代表“节节高”;年夜饭中也总有一道菜是鱼,因为“鱼”和“余”是谐音,表示“年年有余”的意思。当然,在春节里,千万不要说不吉利的话,否则会被长辈埋怨,说你不懂规矩的。

中国人的春节习俗,除了年三十看春晚这一现代化气息较浓的事情,大多都是经历了数百年甚至两千年的岁月沉淀。很多习俗可追溯到三皇五帝时期,尽管有些会有点牵强附会,但仍可见其历史漫长。

汉代之前,由于历法等原因,春节的日期并不统一。一直到汉武帝太初元年,才开始把农历(即夏历)正月定为岁首,年节的日期由此固定下来。辛亥革命以后,开始采用公历纪年,于是把公历1月1日定为“元旦”,把农历正月初一称为“春节”。

而有关春节的习俗,大多数成熟于宋代。“宋代是一个很典型的市民社会,习俗又是一种市民文化特质浓厚的仪式。”河南省民俗学会副会长孟宪明先生说,很多过年的习俗发展到宋代,产生了一个质的变化,基本进入了成熟阶段。

如果说宋代是中国人春节习俗的成熟期,那明清就是春节习俗的定型期。大多数习俗就是在这个阶段基本成型,并延续至今的。

拜年从朝会中演变而来

过春节一个很重要的习俗就是拜年。拜年这个习俗据说是从正旦朝会中演变而来。最早是大臣们初一跑到金銮殿给皇上朝拜,高喊“皇上吉祥”之类。后来大家觉得这种祝福方式不错,下殿之后,大臣们之间也互相拜个年,再后来就变成了全民共拜。

宋代流行的是用名帖互相恭贺的习俗,类似现在的贺年卡拜年。到了明清时期,拜年这种习俗逐渐成熟,清人顾铁卿在 《清嘉录》 中描述:“男女以次拜家长毕,主者率卑幼,出谒邻族戚友,或止遣子弟代贺,谓之‘拜年’。至有终岁不相接者,此时亦互相往拜于门……”

大约从清朝时候起,拜年又增加了“团拜”的形式,清人艺兰主在《侧帽余谭》中说:“京师于岁首,例行团拜,以联年谊,以敦乡情”,“每岁由值年书红订客,饮食宴会,作竟日欢”。

过年习俗大都是明清时期延续下来的

明清时期,春节的各种习俗,大多没有质的改变,不过对于任何习俗来说,完善定型都是一个非常重要的指标。“一个比较完善的流程,比如除夕干什么,初一干什么,初五干什么,等等,都是在明清时期完善的。”河南省民间文艺家协会副主席乔台山先生说,现代过年的各种习俗,大都是明清时期延续下来的。

春节,是从腊月二十三或二十四开始的,这一天也被称为“小年”,是民间祭灶的日子。小年是整个春节庆祝活动的开始和伏笔,其主要活动有两项:扫尘和祭灶。

从腊月二十三到除夕,扫尘、贴春联、蒸花馍等各种习俗不一,但都表达着一个意思,就是准备各种年货,迎接春节。

每年农历腊月的最后一天晚上,就是除夕。到了明清时期,在大年夜,吃年夜饭、守岁和给晚辈压岁钱的三大习俗已经非常完善,尽管各地的形式和内容略有差异,但内涵一致,都是为了讨个吉利。

正月初一,为了博开门大吉的彩头,大清早,人们开门首先放爆竹,叫做“开门炮仗”。爆竹声后,碎红满地,开始拜年。在我国的中原一带,大年初一全家人要在家里过年,各家各户都是这样,但有一种人例外,那就是干儿子。干儿子这一天也要到干爹干娘家里团聚。

大年初二走亲戚,嫁出去的闺女便纷纷带着丈夫、儿女回娘家拜年。

正月初三是女娲造羊的日子,故称“羊日”。在这一天里,人们不能杀羊,如果天气好,则意味着这一年里,羊会养得很好,养羊的人家会有个好收成。不过在很多地方,这一天也是上坟扫墓的日子。

正月初五,俗称破五。“这个破,意思就是春节里有些事,初五之前不能做,比如扫地、倒垃圾等,破五之后就可以做了。”乔台山先生说,破五的习俗就是从明清固定并延续至今的,按清代《燕京岁时记破五》的描述:“初五日谓之破五,破五之内不得以生米为炊,妇女不得出门……”

在很多地方,初五还是送穷神迎财神的日子。每到过年,人们都在正月初五零时零分,打开大门和窗户,燃香放爆竹,点烟花,迎接财神。接过财神,大家还要吃路头酒,往往吃到天亮。

从正月十二开始,人们开始准备庆祝元宵佳节,选购灯笼,搭盖灯棚。民间有句俗语:“十一嚷喳喳,十二搭灯棚,十三人开灯,十四灯正明,十五行月半,十六人完灯。”

元宵节到了明清时更加完善,就节期长短而言,汉代才一天,到唐代已为三天,宋代则长达五天,明清更是自初八点灯,一直到正月十七的夜里才落灯。整整十天。白昼为市,热闹非凡;夜间燃灯,蔚为壮观。

饮食习俗突出团圆

春节重点戏是“吃”,“宁省一年,不省一节”。这也许是农耕社会因生产生活不易累积下来的习俗。

在长达数千年的春节习俗演变过程中,春节食俗有着漫长而复杂的变化。到了明清时期,由于生产力水平没有大的变化,春节食俗才完善和固定下来。

春节的食俗五花八门,各地差异很大,但共同的一点是吃“年夜饭”,也叫“团圆饭”。全家人坐在一起,热热闹闹,红红火火,充分表现出“家”的温暖和价值。“年夜饭的食品很有讲究,大都寓意吉祥、美好。如一定要有鱼,寓意年年有余;如有些地方年夜饭要上火锅,寓意红红火火;如主餐过后要上甜食,寓意甜甜蜜蜜;如饭后上苹果,寓意平平安安。”乔台山先生说,俗话说,“好吃莫过饺子”,全家人齐动手,你擀皮儿,我包馅儿,其乐融融。还有在饺子中包皮钱(硬币)的,谁吃到预示着谁来年财运亨通。南方还有一些地方过春节讲究吃年糕,年年高(糕),象征着收成一年比一年高,生活水平一年比一年高。

当然,由于地域的差异和中外文化的交流,现在的春节食俗和明清时期已经有了很大变化,但唯一没有改变的,就是年夜饭。从某种意义上讲,年夜饭不在于吃什么,而在于吃的过程,和谁在一起吃,吃的时间和场合。

元宵节吃元宵。这是一个以食品名称命名的节日,或者说是以节日名称命名的节日食品。元宵又叫汤圆,寓意团团圆圆。上有圆月,下有汤圆;或者是天上月圆,碗里汤圆。顺天应时,天人合一。

从先秦到明清,再到今天,中国人的春节经历了长达数千年,不论是那些已经消失的,还是延续至今的;不论是那些被人遗忘的,还是与时俱进的,春节习俗从未离开过我们的生活,因为它一直流淌在我们民族的血液之中。
