that it can prove one’s ability. However, I believe that teamwork is more

the exact origins of duan wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the chinese poet qu yuan of the warring states period. he committed uicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the chu government. the local people, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fishes to prevent them from eating qus body. they also sat on dragon boats, and tried to scare the fishes away by the thundering sound of drums aboard the boat and the fierce looking dragon-head in the front of the boat.

in the early years of the chinese republic, duan wu was also celebrated as "poets day", due to qu yuans status as chinas first poet of personal renown.

today, people eat zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fishes) and race dragon boats in memory of qus dramatic death.

According to tradition Confucius was born in 551 BC in the Spring and Autumn Period at the beginning of the Hundred Schools of Thought philosophical movement. Confucius was born in or near the city of Qufu in the Chinese State of Lu (now part of Shandong Province).

He was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher whose teachings and philosophy have deeply influenced Chinese Korean Japanese Taiwanese and Vietnamese thought and life.

His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality correctness of social relationships justice and sincerity. These values gained prominence in China over other doctrines such as Legalism (法家) or Taoism (道家) during the Han Dynasty[2][3][4] (206 BC – 220 AD). Confucius thoughts have been developed into a system of philosophy known as Confucianism (儒家). 我的学习经验是这样的。首先，每天按时完成老师布置的作业，这是最基本的要求。再者，除了老师课堂上布置的题目完成了，还远远不够，自己还得另外找练习题做，熟练掌握已学知识。每当发现做错了的题目，就得用另外一支笔来标出，旁边还得写上错误的缘由和分析，这样的话，以后翻开来就一目了然。或者，我们可以做一个错题本，把错了的题目抄在上面，并写上原因和正确答案，考试前翻开看一看，加深记忆，以后出现这种题就不会再错了。

还有，不要以为课外的题目就可以瞎做，要把每一次的练习都看作是一次重大的考试，绝不能疏忽怠慢了，字字句句都要写清楚。如果你不认真做的话，考试时就改不了了，所以现在养成良好的习惯，考试时也不会由于粗心而失分。
