My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!

The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. 压岁钱

春联也叫门对、春贴、对联、对子、桃符等，它以工整、对偶、简洁、精巧的文字描绘时代背景，抒发美好愿望，是我国特有的文学形式。每逢春节，无论城市还是农村，家家户户都要精选一副大红春联贴于门上，为节日增加喜庆气氛。这一习俗起于宋代，在明代开始盛行，到了清代，春联的思想性和艺术性都有了很大的提高。

春联的种类比较多，依其使用场所，可分为门心、框对、等。“门心”贴于门板上端中心部位;“框对”贴于左右两个门框上;“横披”贴于门媚的横木上。

贴窗花和倒贴“福”字

在贴春联的同时，一些人家要在屋门上、墙壁上、门楣上贴上大大小小的“福”字。春节贴“福”字，是我国民间由来已久的风俗。“福”字指福气、福运，寄托了人们对幸福生活的向往，对美好未来的祝愿。为了更充分地体现这种向往和祝愿，有的人干脆将“福”字倒过来贴，表示“幸福已到”“福气已到”。民间还有将“福”字精描细做成各种图案的，图案有寿星、寿桃、鲤鱼跳龙门、五谷丰登、龙凤呈祥等。

每年农历八月十五日，是传统的中秋佳节。这时是一年秋季的中期，所以被称为中秋。八月十五的月亮比其他几个月的满月更圆，更明亮，所以又叫做“月夕”，“八月节”。此夜，人们仰望天空如玉如盘的朗朗明月，自然会期盼家人团聚。远在他乡的游子，也借此寄托自己对故乡和亲人的思念之情。所以，中秋又称“团圆节”。中秋佳节，人们最主要的活动是赏月和吃月饼了。

在中秋节，我国自古就有赏月的习俗，每逢中秋夜都要举行迎寒和祭月。设大香案，摆上月饼、西瓜、苹果、李子、葡萄等时令水果，一家人依次祭拜。

中秋有吃月饼的习俗，俗话说：“八月十五月正圆，中秋月饼香又甜”。以月之圆兆人之团圆，以饼之圆兆人之常生，用月饼寄托思念故乡，思念亲人之情，祈盼丰收、幸福，都成为天下人们的心愿，月饼还被用来当做礼品送亲赠友，联络感情。

中秋节的传说是非常丰富的，如嫦娥奔月，吴刚伐桂，玉兔捣药之类的神话故事流传甚广。
