I have lost a good teacher. Tears will dry up in time, but the memory will

When I was three years old, my mother hired a tutor to teach me piano. It is such a classic story that every parent wants their daughter to be an elegant lady. So playing piano is the best way to show elegance. But maybe I was not talented in playing piano, I showed less interest and finally, my mother had given up her piano dream. 进入初中，语文老师让我们午读时间看《西游记》。于是，我便开始读了。起初，我只是随便地看一看，但是，不一会儿，我就被书中的情节和人物迷上了，简直是爱不释手。我因为被书本迷得太厉害了，所以弄得茶饭不思。

这本书的主要内容是：为了造福人们，唐僧和他的三个徒弟去西天取经，。他们要历经九九八十一难才能取得真经。在取经路上，他们遇到了很多妖怪。有的妖怪因为听说吃了唐僧肉会长生不老，而千方百计要活捉唐僧，把他煮了吃;有的女妖精觉得唐僧一表人才，就把他抓去，强逼唐僧和她成亲;有的妖精危害人间，杀害人民，弄得人心惶惶……但是这些妖精都被孙悟空打败了，就算孙悟空打不败他们，也能找他的神仙好友来帮忙，最后妖怪们要么被打死，要么被制服。他们师徒四人，经历了九九八十一难后，终于取得了真经，造福天下百姓!

我感觉我不是在看书，而是在看电影，因为作者吴承恩的描述栩栩如生，好像他们就活生生地在我面前：品行端正，又坚定信念的师傅唐僧;拥有无穷本领，天不怕地不怕，机智勇敢的齐天大圣孙悟空，憨厚老实，有力气，但又贪吃，贪便宜的猪八戒;勤劳，安守本分，敦厚的沙和尚。我用了差不多一个星期的时间才把这本名著看完。

读完《西游记》，书中的人物时时浮现在我的脑海里，他们的精神也鼓舞了我。我要学习孙悟空不达目的绝不放弃的精神，学习八戒的憨厚老实，有力气，学习沙僧的勤快，学习唐僧的执着，有坚定信念，不畏艰险，锲而不舍。我还懂得了做事时应该百折不挠，有始有终，不能半途而废。回想起我以前做事有头无尾，不能坚持到底，我是多么的惭愧啊，但是，从我读完这本名著后，这种情况会永远的消失。
