现在大街上都是随处可见的垃圾。有的被风吹得满天都是，有的被风吹到了河中，还有的吹到了居民家的院子……有一些人不仅乱扔垃圾，还随意破坏大自然的花草树木，使它们不能再生，丢掉生命。这些现象已经严重毁掉了我们的生活环境，因此，我在此发起倡议：

一、不在大街上丢垃圾。丢垃圾这样不仅破坏了大街上的环境，还给年纪大的老爷爷和老奶奶带来了麻烦，影响出行。

二、野餐时要带走自己带来的垃圾，不能随意被五颜六色的垃圾盖住了。既污染环境，还破坏了绿草以及植物生长的土质。

三、不往河中排放废水（污水）。这样既破坏了水质，还让水中的鱼儿们死亡，更给常年住在河边的居民带来了非常大的不便。

四、节约用水。大家都知道水是生命之源，由于人们浪费水资源，有一些地方已经干旱。那里的人们因缺水而死亡。

五、不用一次性东西。有些人经常点外卖，造成一次性筷子的大量使用，这使大自然的树木不断减少。

Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?

If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.

I dont remember how many examinations Ive taken since I began my schooling. Truth to tell, I dont like examinations at all. I dare say that, in fact, no student likes examinations.

We often hear people say “Examinations are teachers magic weapon”, so most of us may think it is our teachers who give us students so many examinations. But I dont think so. Almost all of them have once been students before they became teachers. We dont like examinations, and neither do our teachers, which may be reasonably concluded. Whats more,the more examinations we take, the more time will be taken from our teachers and the more troubles our teachers have to take.

It is the system in our country, I think, that gives us students so many examinations. If there were no entrance examinations, and all the students could go up to the higher grades without competition, there would not be so many examinations in primary and middle schools. So it is important and necessary to reform the entrance system. Only in this way can examinations be GREatly reduced, and then all the students will be happier.

Today, Chinas economy has made the great achievement. More and more

foreign people come to China to seek for cooperation. It is true that peoples

life standard has been improved a lot during the last decades, but the

environment has been polluted badly. When I was very small, I could see the

保护环境，这个话题，可以说是家喻户晓，人人皆知。但在现实生活中，一些人还是不太重视，认为微不足道，在我看来，环保要从件件小事做起。我就经历过这样两件小事：有一天，我去超市买东西，快到超市门口时，看见有几个散发宣传单的，见人就给，见车就放，可是有些人却不要，随手就扔地上，我过去将纸扔进垃圾箱里。又看见两个人用胶水将宣传单贴在墙上，远远望去，活像一块块“牛皮癣”趁他们不注意，我又拿出我的绝活“撕纸功”，哈哈，“牛皮癣”被我除掉了一大片。还有一次，我在楼底玩，发现远处草地上冒出了缕缕白烟，走近一看，原来，是我们班一群小孩在那里点火烧草，草黑了一大片，我以大哥哥的身份连忙制止，并讲了火灾的危险性和环保的重要性。他们羞愧难当，赶忙从附近端来水把火熄灭，结束了烧草行动。

我们人类都生活在一个星球上，那就是地球。地球上，有供我们呼吸的氧气，还有茂密的森林、辽阔的草原、无边无际的海洋、各种各样的动物，构成了美丽的大自然。

可是有些人不珍惜地球赐予我们的一切，破坏大自然，大量捕杀野生动物。加之各种破坏环境的做法，给我们的大自然带来了越来越多的灾难，漫漫的黄沙代替了绿色的林海，波涛汹涌的江河变成了干涸的河床，美丽的风景区变成了荒野。还有大气污染、臭氧层有破洞等这些现象都是人们不保护环境的带来了恶果。从前，我家乡的空气是清新的，天空是湛蓝的，真像一幅五彩缤纷的画，好不美丽!但现在，车子它排出了污染空气的乌烟，多了工厂后，排出了污水，水变成黑色发出臭味，造成严重的污染。我家乡附近有一个垃圾筒，人们把垃圾倒在这里，甚至有些人还把垃圾丢在垃圾筒外。每到夏天，这里就成了苍蝇蚊子之类的栖息地，风一吹，可恶的白色污染也来凑热闹。在垃圾筒旁有一口池塘，水上漂着一些泡沫垃圾，水又黑又脏，里面的鱼儿都已经死了，塘水死一般的寂静。

Nothing can be more exciting than success to a man. But you must face many difficulties before you can succeed. No one can make it easily. And it’s harder for those who are in adverse conditions to succeed.

However,everything has two sides. Just as someone said, in every adversity there lies the seed of an advantage and in every defeat there is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time. The most important forus is to establish a brief, that is perseverance. The British ex-prime minister Winston Churchill had a motto of "Never, never, never, never give up . Nothing can substitute for hard work. Life is a process of struggle for success.

保护生态环境

啄木鸟一家住在一座树木茂盛的大森林里,那里的环境清新幽静,许多路过森林的动物在这里安居乐业,静寂的大森林渐渐变得热闹起来。

一天,沉睡的小啄木鸟被一阵奇怪的声音给吵醒了。

啄木鸟妈妈带着小啄木鸟顺着发出的声音寻找声音的源头。它们飞到森林最高的一棵树上向下眺望,看见一个伐木工人拿着斧头砍树,嘴里还叼着一支香烟。

小啄木鸟好奇地问:“妈妈,这个人是谁?他为什么要砍树呢?”妈妈叹了一口气,沉痛地说:“他是一个伐木工人,是专门砍树的。这个人呀,脑袋里有两只虫子,一只叫做‘自私’,还有一只叫做‘贪婪’,它们才是砍树的罪魁祸首,就是这两只虫子在作怪,是它们使人变得越来越坏。”

小啄木鸟听了妈妈的话,非常生气,它愤愤地说:“真想啄开那个人的脑壳,看一看里面到底有什么虫子!用尖尖的嘴巴啄掉那一支烟头,用爪子撕成碎片。如果烟头被他扔到草丛里,一定会引起火灾的!”可是,那是不可能的,至少啄木鸟妈妈不会让孩子冒这个险的。

哎,如果人类再不注意保护环境,失去家园的就不仅仅是鸟儿了。任何降临到动物身上的是,终究会降临在人类身上。

During my high school years, I have found chemistry, physics, and mathematics interesting.Actually, I am interested in many subjects such as biology, history, geography, Chinese, and English.But somehow I cannot remember the historical events or the facts about geography in detail. I cannot remember biological terms well, either.On the other hand, chemistry, physics, and mathematics are easy for me because they seem logical to me.After considering my interests and talents I feel that science or engineering might be the best choice for my career.I would like to study science or engineering in college.After graduation from college I hope to go for higher education overseas.Eventually I would like to return to school to teach.This is my career plan.

在我高中的时代，我发现我对化学、物理和数学很感兴趣。事实上，我觉得其他的学科也很有吸引力，如：历史、英语。但是不知何故我不能详细记住历史事件，也不能很好地记住英语单词。相反，化学、物理和数学却容易些因为它们有逻辑性。鉴于我的兴趣所致我感觉到理科或者工科是我未来职业的最好选择。我更愿意在大学里学理科或工科。大学毕业后我希望到海外去继续深造。最后我将回到学校教书。这就是我的事业规划。
