The Dragon Boat Festival is one of three majorChineseholidays, along with the Spring and Moon Festivals. Of the three, it is possibly the oldest, dating back to the Warring States Period in 227 B.C. The festival commemorates Qu Yuan, a minister in the service of the Chu Emperor. Despairing over corruption at court, Qu threw himself into a river. Townspeople jumped into their boats and tried in vain to save him. Then, hoping to distract hungry fish from his body, the people scattered rice on the water.

Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.

Last night ,I dreamed I became a very beautiful brid. I dreamed that I was in a forest. In tht forest,there were a lot of animals. Then,an old bird told us,"we have a very beautiful forest,we should therefore protect it from pollution. "All the animals agreed with him.

My winter vacation

I had a great time on my vacation .

To begin with,i finished my homework .it was took me ten days.then,i came back my old home with my family.we visted my grandparents 、my uncle and my aunt.they were friendly and kind.luckyly,they gave me some money,i was very happy.

On small year day,my dad took me to skate.that was very fanny.i fell all the time.it was a little ache,but i still skated.

On new year`s day,we ate at my uncle`s home.my aunt cooked a lot of meels.they were deliious,too,so i ate very fell.

中年妇女吃完了梨，把嘴一擦说：“不甜，不买了!”她拉着小女孩正要走时，小女孩却喊了起来：“甜!甜，梨子真好吃，不酸，妈妈爱骗人。”那个妇女一听非常生气，顿时拉长了脸，“啪”的一巴掌打在小女孩儿的脸上，“哇……”小女孩哭了起来，一边哭还一边喊着：“妈妈爱骗人，妈妈爱占小便宜。”那个妇女有打小女孩，这时，那个农村姑娘连忙上前拦住她，从筐里拿出几个梨给小女孩儿，然后看也没看那位妇女，推起车又走向另外一个地卖梨去了。那个妇女在人们的指责声中，一下子呆在那里不知如何是好了

看到这一幕，我的脑海中留下两个身影，一个是那么高大，一个是那么渺小。

Secondly,since it is the holiday ,I will share it with my family and friends. You know the spring festival will soon come, I believe I would chatting and play games with my friends and family .I think I will enjoy the vacation.

寒假是短暂的，但也是快乐的，因为在寒假中有一个我们中华民族独有的节日——春节。在春节期间老爸老妈带我探亲访友，和好朋友一起放鞭炮，收压岁钱，吃各种美味的农家菜……但是我还是最喜欢贴春联。

除夕的前一天，老爸买来了几张春联，我立刻和老爸说：“把这个艰巨的任务交给我吧!”老爸同意了，我马上把胶水沾在春联上，然后贴在了门上，本以为这个任务完成地一帆风顺，谁想到，一张春联让我犯难了。那上面有;“福”和“吉祥如意”的字样，可其中有一个是倒着写的。如果将“福”字贴正，“吉祥如意”就是倒着的，画面又不可剪开。这画的设计者也太粗心了!唉!到底怎么贴呢?我只好向老爸求助，老爸告诉我，以前春联是自己或叫别人写的，改革开放后九十年代春联才渐渐开始印刷了，印刷的春联既方便又美观。有一年过年，一户人家买了张春联贴上去，一位邻居走过来看到说：“哎，你家的福字贴反了!怎么倒着贴啊!”那主人笑眯眯地说：“不错的，没错的，现在流行福字倒着贴，这也有它的寓意，意味着福到家了!”那个邻居红着脸说：“原来是这样啊!”听了老爸讲的故事后，我把倒着的福字贴了上去，也明白了这个道理。

一眨眼的功夫，寒假已经过去，新学期已经开始，我又期盼下一个快乐的寒假。
