初夏，邻居家枝头就挤满了樱桃，那一个个红得醉人的小樱桃，即使在茂密的绿叶中，也抵挡不住它的光芒，是那么可爱……

记得樱桃树开花的那段日子，我就盼望着它能早点结果。每次经过邻居家的时候都要巴望一会儿，然后失望地往家走。后来，樱桃花凋谢了，枝头终于长出了一个个青色的小樱桃。从那以后，我每次都要有意无意地经过邻居家……天气渐渐地变热，在樱桃树的枝头上，我终于看到了那渴盼已久的红色，它是那么滋润，那么鲜艳夺目。我多么想伸手摘下一颗，然后放入口中，那味道应该会很甜吧!但是，当我的手快要接触到小樱桃时，却停住了，因为，心中有一个信念在提醒我“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”，没有经过别人同意，我是不可以摘的。于是我缩回了手，将口水强咽回了肚子。枝头上的樱桃还是那么诱人，那么惹人喜爱，但是最后我却放弃了拥有它的错误念头，自己觉得很欣慰。往后的日子，每当经过邻居家我还会抬起头望望那樱桃，但却没有想摘它的冲动，仅仅是带着欣赏的眼光。因为，心中有一种信念在闪动。

随着年龄的增长，樱桃的诱惑对我已经不大，每天面对枯燥的“XYZ”，对答案的渴求却日益加重。

还记得那天晚上，自己一个人在灯光下“苦战”到半夜，伴随着我的，只有老爸的打呼声，好想睡呀，但今天的作业却没有完成，面对着一道道习题，心想要做到啥时才能完成呀。纠结之下的我，便生起了翻参考答案的念头，我的手跟着我的思维走，但当离参考答案只有一页之差的时候，我却想起了那天在樱桃树下伸回手的那一刻。闹钟继续在转动着，时间一分一秒地过，时针已经直指十一点。我重新拿起笔在草稿纸上演算着数学题目，翻参考答案那一刻的迷糊已转化成了此刻的清醒，我不禁暗暗高兴了一下。

枝头的樱桃看上去确实很诱人，但伸回手的那一刻，却比尝到樱桃果更令我甜蜜;参考书的正确率确实很高，但重新拿起笔，靠自己演算出的答案却更令我珍惜;世界上确实有很多诱惑，但却没有抵得过坚定信念的诱惑!学会自律，你将得到更广阔的天地。

I love to read. When I was three years old, my parents had taught me to

read. They bought me some books with funny and colorful pictures. Soon I was

attracted by these stories and fell in love with reading. Since I went to

school, I often went to the library and it was my favorite place. Studying in

the library provided me a silent environment. The most important thing was that

as so many excellent students sat around me. I felt the great motivation to move

on. I could find the data any time and read the books I liked. I have gained a

lot of knowledge and find the great hour there.

Everybody has his or her interest， and interests differ widely from person

to person because of age， sex health and education. To some extent， interest

also reflects ones ability or wish. Interest plays an important part in our

daily life. As a middle school student interest is of great importance in study.

If you want to learn something well， you have to show interest in it， which is

quite possible. Once you have found your way into the subject， you may have also

found a world of curiosities.

In our times， interest may not only result in skill and knowledge but also

lead to great inventions and discoveries. To be a successful person in the world

one should develop ones interest.
