There is this story about the moon-cake. during the Yuan dynasty China was ruled by the Mongolian people. Both the BA and Asiana accidents occurred shortly before landing, while the Malaysia airlines plane disappeared off the radar during the early stages of the trip.

The accident at San Francisco in July was attributed to pilot error which led to the engines being set to idle because he believed the computer would maintain sufficient speed to keep the plane up in the air.

But initial reports suggest that Zaharie Ahmad Shah, the 53-year-old Malaysian airlines pilot, was hugely experienced - having joined the carrier in 1981 and with 18,365 hours in the cockpit under his belt.

The BA crash landing, which did not result in any fatalities, was finally found to have been caused by a blockage in the fuel line feeding the engine.

Simply put the aircraft had the aviation equivalent of a cardiac arrest because some of the fuel failed to melt and blocked the supply line at the end of a long flight from Beijing to London, during which the plane travelled through unusually cold airspace over Siberia.

This crash has echoes of the disaster in which 288 people on board an Air France Airbus 330. That plane, another long-haul workhorse, crashed into the Atlantic en-route from Rio de Janeiro in June 2009 killing 228 people.

A variety of explanations have been given for the Air France crash, with investigators finding that the plane’s speed sensors were giving an incorrect reading.

But with this crash involving a different aircraft, it will take several months before investigators can ascertain the cause.

A cadre of state-appointed lawyers are creating a bill that would allow for just that.

This is one of the more important legal dilemmas of recent years, and only a few states have clear laws on whether, say, a parent should gain access to their childs Facebook if the child dies, or whether a wife should get access to financial information locked in her deceased husbands email account. This week at its annual meeting, the Uniform Law Commission—a Chicago-based group of lawyers who are appointed to write clear and stable language for new legislation—will finalize its recommended language for a law that would give loved ones access to all of your digital accounts after you die. Unless you specify otherwise.

As the AP reports today, the bill would create a legal process for gaining access, which can be incredibly difficult today:

Most people assume they can decide what happens by sharing certain passwords with a trusted family member, or even making those passwords part of their will. But in addition to potentially exposing passwords when a will becomes public record, anti-hacking laws and most companys "terms of service" agreements prohibit anyone from accessing an account that isnt theirs. That means loved ones technically become criminals if they log on to a dead persons account.

And thats assuming they even have the password. Going up against giants like Google makes the process even more difficult. And for a grieving family, it can be all but impossible.

Table Manners

The main difference between Chinese and western eating habits is that unlike the West, where everyone has their own plate of food, in China the dishes are placed on the table and everybody shares. If you are being treated by a Chinese host, be prepared for a ton of food. Chinese are very proud of their culture of cuisine and will do their best to show their hospitality.

And sometimes the Chinese host use their chopsticks to put food in your bowl or plate. This is a sign of politeness. The appropriate thing to do would be to eat the whatever-it-is and say how yummy it is. If you feel uncomfortable with this, you can just say a polite thank you and leave the food there.

Eating No-nos

Dont stick your chopsticks upright in the rice bowl.Instead,lay them on your dish. The reason for this is that when somebody dies,the shrine to them contains a bowl of sand or rice with two sticks of incense stuck upright in it. So if you stick your chopsticks in the rice bowl, it looks like this shrine and is equivalent to wishing death upon a person at the table!

Make sure the spout of the teapot is not facing anyone. It is impolite to set the teapot down where the spout is facing towards somebody. The spout should always be directed to where nobody is sitting, usually just outward from the table.

Dont tap on your bowl with your chopsticks.Beggars tap on their bowls, so this is not polite.Also, when the food is coming too slow in a restarant, people will tap their bowls. If you are in someones home,it is like insulting the cook.

地雷，人类发明的最残酷的武器之一，轻轻地触动它，就可能把你炸残甚至让你死亡。每年大约有2万人因地雷爆炸致死或受伤，然而，有一位中国战士一生中和地雷这个死神“约会”了二十多年，亲手排除了2100多枚地雷，他就是当代中国军人陈代荣。

陈代荣刚刚参军时，心中的梦想并不是在地上挖地雷，而是搏击长空。当时，19岁的陈代荣考上了长春空军第一飞行基础学院，然而入校一年后，陈代荣在训练中扭伤脚踝并导致骨折，被学院淘汰。抹着眼泪的他只得调到湖南长沙工程兵学院排爆专业去学习。

1988年，陈代荣成为成都军区驻滇集团军工兵团的一名工程兵。扫雷是个最需要细心和耐心的技术活儿，陈代荣在部队里埋头苦练了4年，终于将地雷的“火暴脾气”摸了个透。

陈代荣第一次参加的排雷活动是中越边境大排雷。当时，战争已经过去多年了，就连当年布雷的战士也不知道地雷埋在哪里，边境上不但有我们的战士埋的雷，也有对方军队埋的雷，有正规地雷，也有用手榴弹、炮弹甚至鱼雷改装的土地雷，土里有雷，水里有雷，甚至树上也有雷。陈代荣带着30名扫雷手，趴在地上用手一寸一寸地摸。有一天，一位战士发现了一枚锈蚀变形的地雷，觉得它不存在爆炸的危险，伸手就要排除。陈代荣一把抓住他的手腕，一脚将地雷踢飞。地雷“哧哧”冒着青烟，滚下了山……要不是陈代荣判断正确，眼疾手快，排雷的战士就要牺牲了。

此后，陈代荣先后受联合国委派，带领中国维和战士赴非洲厄立特里亚、泰国和中东的黎巴嫩等地扫雷。2006年，以色列和黎巴嫩真主党之间爆发了21世纪以来规模最大的武装冲突。当时，中国的维和工兵营与真主党的基地仅一墙之隔，经常有炮弹在营地旁边爆炸。有一天，陈代荣负责护送3辆物资运输车，前往邻近的一个友军营地。车队行至一个路段时，陈代荣突然发现有两枚巨型炮弹横在路中央，挡住了去路。陈代荣跳下车，发现两枚炮弹已经处于待爆状态，只要稍微碰触，就会发生惊天动地的爆炸。这样的一枚炮弹，爆炸时的威力足以覆盖足球场大小的面积，两枚炮弹同时爆炸，四周几百米范围内的人都活不了。他带领战士们开始小心翼翼地拆除引信，当满身是汗的陈代荣拆完引信，把炸弹挪到路边时，所有在场的人才松了一口气。在战火纷飞的黎巴嫩，陈代荣34天里完成了1800多项战地任务

陈代荣不但“手巧”，而且“心灵”。在联合国维和部队执行任务时，他带领战士们花了6个月的时间，完成了一部272页、共计35万字的《扫雷标准作业程序》。这在别的国家，需要3年时间才能完成。他和战友们也因此成为我军首支通过国际扫雷资质认证的专业扫雷队伍。陈代荣还汇编了世界各国的地雷知识，出版了60余种手册，总结出26种科学的排雷方法，研制成功6种排雷新装备。他编写的《国际人道主义扫雷手册》，被联合国确定为援外扫雷基础教材。

至今，陈代荣还代表中国军队接受联合国委派，在世界上战火纷飞的冲突地区扫雷。他还创造了一个零伤亡的奇迹——在他扫过的雷区，至今都没有发生过雷患。

这是3月下旬的一天，湖南邵阳暴雨，整个城市看起来灰蒙蒙湿答答的。沉珂家里大灯全开，门厅的墙壁上贴着暖色调的壁纸，显得非常干净、非常整洁。她站在客厅里，穿一身黑，微微驼背，面孔醒目。

「哈喽。」她站在原地，拘谨地打了个招呼。

这是一次经历了两个月拉锯才终于达成的见面，「你一个活人站在我面前，我就没有办法这么轻松地去跟你谈我过去的一些，对我来说甚至是致命的一些事情。」沉珂说，「还有一点就是，我也不想让你看见我的表情。我不喜欢聊天的时候跟人家目光对视，我不知道怎么讲，可能就是因为以前我跟你说的，心里总有一点自卑因素。」29岁了，她在现实世界中依旧无法获得安全感。

显而易见，沉珂是个网名。名字的主人在17岁的时候跟大多数同龄人一样，觉得自己是不被全世界理解的小孩，于是给自己起了这么个名字：埋在泥土里的一块「失落的玉」。

那是2004年，互联网通讯刚刚在中国兴起，自小被父母打发去跟保姆生活、在现实中孤僻而敏感的问题少女沉珂发现了一个更有安全感的虚拟世界，她把现实中那些无人理解的情绪诉诸网络—最开始是自己创作的金属音乐和说唱歌曲，它们灵气充盈，内容暗黑大胆，沉珂作为当时少有的女性rapper迅速在一众早期网络歌手和赶时髦的年轻人当中蹿红。

然后是网络日志，她在里面写除了金钱之外对她毫无抚养作用的父母，被全校同学恶意附会的与同龄女孩的恋爱，写她为了那个女孩自残、吸毒，「渴望跟男孩有精神上的恋爱，跟女孩有肉体上的交缠」。这些日志跟她血淋淋的自残照片以及化着浓重烟熏妆的哥特风自拍一起，在网上四处流传。直到现在，你依旧可以搜索到它们—「中国第一个网红沉珂」、「杀马特鼻祖沉珂」、「非主流教母沉珂」。

她的粉丝有很大一部分在二三线小城市出生和长大。10多年前沉珂最红的时候，他们刚刚进入青春期，沉珂成为少年少女心目中最酷的同龄人。沉珂在当时到底有多红?网上至今流传着一个说法：如果你是90后却不知道沉珂，那一定是因为你太乖了。

虽然不是有意为之，但作为一个偶像，沉珂的确曾给许多人带来类似的安慰。素不相识的沉珂被那些拥有灰色青春期的少年当成唯一可以理解自己的「秘密朋友」。比如宜昌女孩易樱儿，爸妈生她之前染上了毒瘾，妈妈在她出生数月后不告而别。接下来二十几年，爸爸戒毒、复吸，又戒毒、复吸，待在监狱里的时间比在监狱外面还要长。她觉得自己像同学中间无所适从的怪物，「知道她(沉珂)的事情以后，我觉得其实我这种情况也不止我一个人。虽然说我身边没有，至少说这个世界上还是有……所以说我就把她当成一个灵魂知己。」她有心事的时候就用写日记的方式跟沉珂说话。当时13岁的山东乡村少年王小成，父母关系恶劣，他也自残过，「伤心一次就划自己一刀」，沉珂的故事安慰到他，「就像是找到一个同类一样，就这么简单」。网名为「小巷麋鹿」的姑娘，「因为觉得经历以及心态都有相似，过得不如别人，觉得自己的生活糟透了……后来慢慢觉得她就是那种隐形的朋友。」

然后猝不及防，人们听说沉珂死了。铺天盖地的消息在网络散布开来：2008年2月13日，沉珂死了，死于自杀。

7年之后的这个雨天，人们口中已经死去的人站在邵阳高级公寓的客厅里。这些年来陆续有粉丝到邵阳试图寻找她的坟墓，有些人说没找到，有些人说找到了，言之凿凿，还说看到了骨灰盒。但直到去年以前，没人知道她其实一直生活在这座城市里，有3套房子，跟高中时候就认识的男人结婚，还在4年前生了一个女儿。

「都过了好几年了，你说一个死人的事，怎么可能老有人抓着不放?」巨大而明亮的屋子，小小的暗色的人。沉珂短发的发尾漂染成翠绿色，简直像个幻觉。

3月1日清晨，天水市张家川回族自治县张川镇袁川村73岁的治安户长杨盘文就来到村委会，等待和社区民警一起进村入户排查务工返乡人员信息，这是他抗击疫情的第37天。杨盘文是张家川县年龄最大的治安户长，自天水市新冠肺炎疫情防控阻击战打响以来，白发苍苍的杨盘文积极参与到疫情防控工作中，以实际行动践行着一名老共产党员的担当。

1月27日，农历正月初三，天刚蒙蒙亮，杨盘文就赶到村委会参加村里的疫情防控工作部署会。依照张家川县的安排部署，餐馆、宾馆、网吧、电影院等所有营业场所都要暂时关停，社区民警需带领治安户长逐门逐户排摸通知，考虑到杨盘文年龄大，社区民警安排他在村委会留守，但杨盘文却坚持前往一线参与巡查。

从那天开始，杨盘文就始终坚守在疫情防控第一线。他每天徒步或骑着电动车穿梭于村委会和村口的防疫检查点之间，白天配合社区民警入户核查务工返乡人员信息，开展疫情防范知识宣传，晚上回到村委会将排摸的数据及相关资料进行整理，并反馈在“治安户长工作平台”上。每当社区民警和其他户长劝他休息一下时，他总是笑着说：“我回去也闲不住，大家都在为抗击疫情忙碌，我不能因为年龄大而影响工作。”

1月23日，抗击疫情第一天，村里有一对从武汉回到袁川村的夫妇，得知情况后，杨盘文立即联系社区民警、镇干部、村卫生员一同上门。刚开始，这对夫妇对来访的人非常排斥，认为大过年的派出所找上门，打扰了自己的生活，就是不开门。杨盘文和大家站在大门口，隔着门宣传疫情防控的相关政策，经过一个多小时苦口婆心地劝说，这家人终于打开了门。此后，杨盘文每天和村干部、医务人员上门为他们测量体温、询问是否需要代购生活用品等，把关爱送到了村民的心坎上。

连日来，这样的“闭门羹”杨盘文和社区民警不知道吃了多少次，每当遇到群众情绪激动不配合、怀疑或害怕病毒传染不肯开门时，杨盘文都耐心解释，哪怕隔着门，也要想方设法争取群众的理解，将劝说工作做到位。

“干了30多年的村委会工作，咋样的事情都经历过，村民之间的矛盾多数是鸡毛蒜皮的小事，用心去化解，才能让当事人心服口服。疫情防控的工作也是一样，大家齐心协力，才能早日战胜疫情。”杨盘文说。

“他像老黄牛一样默默奉献，从不计较个人得失，让我们看到了一名老党员的党性和信仰，在这次疫情防控工作中，意志坚强、不甘落后、可敬可赞，值得我们学习。”张家川县张川镇袁川村党支部书记马少军说。

这位73岁的老党员治安户长每天依旧在防控疫情的一线，做力所能及的事，贡献自己的光和热。

1995年的冬天，如果我再找不到工作，灰溜溜地回国几乎是唯一的选择。

可我再一次被拒绝了。想起那个面试官的表情，我非常想抓狂。她竟然说我的形象和我的简历不相符而拒绝继续向我提问。我低头看自己的打扮，很明显，因为穿着问题，我被她鄙视了。我发誓我可以用我的能力让她收回她对我的鄙视。但我没有得到表现我的能力的机会。

我的房东莎琳娜太太是一个很苛刻的中年女人。她规定我必须十二点之前熄灯睡觉，规定我必须在十分钟之内从浴室出来，规定我如果不穿戴整齐就不准进入她的客厅，不准我用她的漂亮厨房做中餐，她甚至规定我在她有客人来访的时候必须涂口红！

我看不出她好在什么地方。就好比，当我很多次面试失败回来后，厨房里一点吃的都不会有。并且如果我上楼发出声音，她会站在卧室门口很大声地指责我。

我刚刚洗完头发，坐在床上一边翻看报纸的招聘信息一边吃我带回来的面包卷。这违反了莎琳娜的原则。她冲上前来，一把夺过我的面包和报纸，用英文大吼：“你这个毫无素质的中国女孩！你滚出我的家！”

我于是披散着头发，在睡衣外裹上大衣冲出了门。

二十五年来，我以非常漂亮的成绩和能力一路所向披靡。从来没有人说我没有素质。

我们家并不贫穷，但二十五年来我的妈妈一直告诉我，能力才是最重要的。我不能明白以貌取人在这里居然成为一个正义的词语。这简直是对我二十五年的人生观的侮辱！

我愤怒地冲进一家咖啡馆。天气实在太冷。我也很饿。

咖啡馆里的人居然很多。侍者以一种奇怪的眼神把我引到一个空座位边。那是咖啡馆里唯一的空位。我的对面是一个英国老太太。她看起来比莎琳娜更加讲究，就像伊莉莎白女王一样尊贵与精致。我不由得下意识地收起自己宽松睡裤下的运动鞋。然后我看到她裙子下着了丝袜和漂亮高跟鞋的腿，以她这样的年纪，却仍然把这样的鞋子穿得非常迷人。

在欧洲的很多高级餐厅里，衣衫不整是被拒绝进入的。我想我能进来的原因大概是因为我穿了价值不菲的大衣。我不由得暂时收起自己的愤怒，说：“给我一杯热咖啡。谢谢。”

侍者走开后，对面的老太太并不看我。而是从旁边拿了一张便笺写了一行字递给我。是非常漂亮的手写英文：洗手间在你的左后方拐弯。我抬头看她，她正以非常优雅的姿势喝咖啡，没有看我半眼。我的尴尬难以言明。第一次觉得不被尊重是应该的。

我的头发被风吹得非常凌乱，我的鼻子旁边甚至还沾了一点面包屑！虽然我的大衣质地非常好，但我的睡裤被它衬得很老旧。我第一次有点看不起自己。这样的打扮，我有多不尊重自己，以致使别人觉得我也不尊重她们。我想起下午去面试时自己的日常便装，那应该也是对一个高级经理职位的不尊重吧？

当我再回到座位的时候，那个老太太已经离开了。那张留在铺了细柔的格子的餐桌上的便笺多了另一句漂亮的手写英文：作为女人，你必须精致。这是女人的尊严。

我逃也似的走出了那家咖啡厅。莎琳娜竟然坐在客厅里等我，一见我就对我说我超过了十二点十分钟才回来，所以明天必须去帮她清洗草坪。我答应了她。并向她道歉。

我发现莎琳娜教了我许多同样有用的东西：十二点之前睡觉能让我第二天精神充足，穿戴整洁美观能让别人首先尊重我，穿高跟鞋和使用口红使我得到了更多绅士的帮助，我开始感觉自己的自信非常充足而有底气，我不再希望别人看我的简历来判断我是不是有能力。

我最后一次面试，是一家大化妆品公司的市场推广。我得体的着装打扮为我的表现加了分。那个精致的干练的女上司对我说：你非常优秀。欢迎你的加入。

我没有想到，我的上司居然就是我在咖啡馆里遇到的那位英国老太太。她非常有名！是这个化妆品牌的销售女皇！

我对她说：非常感谢你。是真的非常感谢她。非常感谢她那句：作为女人，你必须精致。虽然她没有认出我。是的。没有人有义务必须透过连你自己都毫不在意的邋遢外表去发现你优秀的内在。你必须精致。这是女人的尊严。我在后来的后来，都一直记得！
